The seafood potato has the snell of old seafood. Also the chicken fajita was disgusting. Freshness is not here!

Customer Service is really good. I was helped by a younger women at the register, very nice. I ordered a seafood spud and though it looked good the food didn't taste as good. The spud was missing flavor. My spud has crawfish, shrimp and crab and it was still bland. Also the shrimp is frozen cooked pink shrimp. Maybe if the ingredients were fresher it would be better. The ambiance is quiet, it's not busy, pretty empty. They have potential but this wasn't it. I only came because Spudlys in Metairie was closed today. Would I go back.... probably not

This is THE BEST BAKED POTATO I've ever had in my life!!!! This place is truly a hidden gem located on the Westbank of New Orleans in a small strip mall! Serving up GIANT potatoes stuffed with all the works! My brother in law and I tried the Spinach & Artichoke (add bacon, of course) and the Chicken Alfredo potatoes. The spinach & artichoke was similar to a dip served on a potato topped with cheese and chives. The chicken alfredo potato was grilled chicken smothered in a creamy Alfredo sauce topped with cheese and chives. Both potatoes were cooked all the way through to perfection! Customer service was excellent! Staff answered all of my questions courteously and accommodated me well as I requested cheese on the side. This is definitely a great spot for lunch or a weekend test with the family! Extensive menu, dine in or carry out, and QUALITY!

Found on Yelp Ordered "Dat Cajun" spud based on reviews and the ingredients listed on the menu. It was a big potato but not huge. The sauce was spicy as the menu says. The staff was a bit rude while taking orders. Adding extras must be an issue for some customers. Added extra scallions (they called them chives and they are not the same thing, related yes but different) and she said there was a charge. I said fine. My friend ordered her potato and added a different protein and an extra cheese and she said they are extra. The tone she kept saying it in made us respond with we know things cost extra and if we ask for it we are willing to pay for it. The potato was filling and it was spicy and ultimately had to pour some of the oil off to enjoy the potato the ingredients were drowned in it. You can tell by the photo I will add. The corn was overcooked and the sausage was just okay. Id be okay not going here again based on the service. Especially after seeing the next customer treated so much nicer than us.

At first I was like, "Why are we having potatoes for lunch?" But boy oh boy was this lunch delish! You can sub for the sweet potato version if they have any in stock if you're into the healthier stuff. From the potato choices, you can either have the half or full version. I had the crawfish potato while my friend had the meat & cheese. With his option, you can choose your meat and cheese. I believe he chose ham as his meat, but I am unsure of his cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, and Swiss?). Cheese is cheese at this point once it's loaded onto a potato full of other stuff. lol. My crawfish potato was delicious as heck! It was smothered in margarine, cheese, and other unhealthy flavors. His was a bit more dry, but pretty good as it was more on the normal side of what a potato should be. There are also snowballs as dessert if your stomach can hold anymore food. The staff was sweet, cordial, and friendly. This was a small place to sit and eat, but it could hold about 15 folks? Parking was plentiful since this was in a complex so no worries about this aspect.

I usually love spud spot but I haven't been for a few months, usually everything is wonderful but this last time i went my good was cold & my snowball was dry also they didn't close my food properly so all my butter was all over the bag and on my food container

    Snowball

We just left from there! The snow balls are on point! Of course you know we had to get the condense milk, tiger blood, sour apple, hurricane. Liz was the best. Po boys were hot and ready bake potatoes were massive and full! No complaints here. Thanks Liz, they don't have this kind of service in California.

Cajun crawfish - just spicy enough

From the moment we arrived, the food, service, and ambiance were absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The portions are generous one of my sisters ordered a salad that was so large she had plenty left to take home for her husband. My other sister ordered the breakfast croissant, and I had the smash burger, which practically melted in my mouth. Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We shared the vanilla bean crème brûlée and the beignet fries, and both were absolutely delicious. If you enjoy a good cocktail, you'll love their drink menu too the cocktails are amazing, and the prices are just as impressive. What really set this restaurant apart, though, was the customer service. I had a small issue with my debit card, and the owner personally called me afterward to make sure everything had been taken care of. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. Brown Butter Depot has definitely earned a spot on my list of repeat visits. If you're visiting New Orleans, don't miss this hidden gem in Gretna. I gave them five stars, but honestly, they deserve ten!

But it's difficult for me to ever pass on the muffuletta, the best in town. It's a perfect size-substantial but not 2 meals in one. The combination of different meats blend perfectly and the olive spread complements, not overwhelms. Plus I love the side pickles! You order at the front counter and then take a table inside or out (or at the bar). Food is delivered promptly and the servers are always checking on your drinks. Really excellent ice tea by the way. Everything appears carefully considered and efficiently executed. The layout is purposeful, the operation is remarkably well organized, the space is impeccably clean, and the presentation of the products is both attractive and inviting. The restaurant's steady stream of customers throughout much of the day is hardly surprising. There is an obvious rhythm and efficiency to the operation, yet it never feels rushed or chaotic. Instead, there is a sense that every component of the business has been thoughtfully orchestrated. The staff further reinforces this impression. They are exceptionally friendly, courteous, and accommodating, but what stands out most is their knowledge. They are able to answer questions, offer guidance, and navigate the extensive menu with confidence, making the experience both comfortable and enjoyable. And the menu itself is a destination. It offers an impressive range of choices, with an appealing variety of meats, sandwiches, sides, and beverages. There is far too much temptation to reasonably expect one visit to be sufficient. In fact, choosing what to order may be the most difficult part of the experience. Their version of the muffuletta an outstanding of the original. Particularly their version of the bread, which was fresh, and warmly toasted renders it a cut above. Cochon Butcher is therefore a restaurant best approached with the intention of returning. One visit gives you an introduction; several visits allow you to truly appreciate the breadth of what they do. The combination of organization, cleanliness, quality, knowledgeable service, and an extensive menu makes Cochon Butcher a particularly impressive example of how a busy restaurant can operate with both efficiency and character.

I placed an order about 10:20pm via GrubHub. After receiving a notification via GrubHub that my order was being made and in process, I was happy I would be having a po' boy and fries in 30 minutes. Well....20-30 minutes go by and I get an update saying my order is delayed 15 minutes. Ok...thats fine. Still satisfied that with my limited options this late in this night that I will be getting food. 10 minutes later, I get a text saying my order has been canceled. Frustration ensues... I debate. Just let it go? Or call the restaurant directly. I call the restaurant. A pleasant gentleman answers. I explain my order and cancellation notice. He says my first name without prompting and explains that Grub Hub did not assign a driver and he cancelled the order. Before my objection, however, he asks where I am and clarifies that I am at a very near hotel. He, the owner, confirms my location and room number and says he can make my order in 5 minutes and deliver within 15. I was elated. I go downstairs to the hotel lobby to wait and within less than 15 minutes he arrives with a bag of hot food that I ordered. This is customer service of perfection. When he arrives I pulled out cash for a tip and he refused to accept it and apologized for Grub Hub screwing things up before I could even have cash to give him. The food....it was great. The bread of the po'boy was crispy on the outside and chewy inside. Fresh shrimp was flavorful and lightly breaded. The cheese fries are indeed world famous. This wasn't just a "food was great" review. But the above and beyond service was as good as the food. If you have read this review this far, just order food from Parkside Tavern. Please. You will not regret it.

It's a bar (long bar) with TVs, and a pool table. I called in an order for a cheeseburger on French, dressed and a large order of fries. The person taking the order was friendly and efficient. Said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. The food was as good as I remembered. The French bread must be Leidenheimer's. It's the best. Parkside is smoky and it's decor leaves something to be desired. Mostly frequented by friendly locals who have been going to Parkside forever.
