The Stand is always a fantastic burger place to go to. I always go for their Ultimate Egg Burger, cooked Medium, no bacon, add extra red pickled onions. This location is nice and spaced out, lots of seating inside and they have a nice outside patio area as well. Can never go wrong with the food here! We were in the area doing some shopping so we decided to grab lunch at this location. We almost always go for the sweet chili aioli and stand burger sauce for our fries but this time we tried their jalapeno aioli and it was FANTASTIC. It went perfectly mixed with their stand burger sauce! Highly recommend if you want a slight kick. This was our first visit to The Stand and it did not disappoint. We ordered custom burgers, Brisket Sandwich, Short Rib Grilled Cheese and two kids meals. All of the food was very flavorful and seemed to be made of high quality ingredients. If we had to pick, our favorite single item was the Brisket Sandwich; super flavorful and great texture. You have the choice of unlimited sauces for free as well which is a nice touch. All of them were good. The service was very friendly and the employees exceeded our needs and expectations. The restaurant was very clean, to include the bathrooms. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. One regret is that o failed to take pics of our food when it was delivered to our table. read more

Wow! I just ordered the Chimichuri steak salad, green beans with a red ginger vinegarette, (with fried onions) and The Stand's chili. All are amazing. I will admit, I don't like cheese with meat, so that's on me for not taking it off, otherwise, the chili is really good! However, the Chimichuri steak salad with corn salsa is out of this world. Authentic Chimichuri, (which you just don't get anymore) and steak cooked to perfection. (I had this delivered from Valencia to the deep hell of Canyon Country.) Amazing! The green beans are so, so good. They don't even need the fried onions, but definitely a good balance. I ordered from Door Dash and the items say "temporary". They should really keep this going. The staff behind the counter was also killing constant flying bugs with a handheld tennis racket type of bug zapper while we ate. Constant. Zapping. Of. Flying. Bugs. Behind. The. Counter. Food. Area. While we ate in a booth. Zap. Zap. Zap. Zap. Zap. I have never experienced this. Where do those dying bugs land behind the counter once shattered with your zapper. Had the best chimichurri steak salad here yesterday!!! The salad was fresh, and had the perfect crunch. I enjoyed sitting inside, the booth was comfortable and the air conditioning was on high! My nephew enjoyed one of their chocolate milk shakes. I had their tea and their lemonade mixed together, it was delightful. Fast, easy service. This is our third visit. Couldn't wait to try the French onion soup burger. Ask how I want cooked. Pink. My husband ordered medium also wanting pink. He took one bite and said " you won't be happy with the cook. It's well done". It took 15 minutes for order and all tables had been served. So, asking for a new one was out of the question. Beer, wine and two burgers and small onion rings $57 is disappointing to say the least. I can see management only replies to 5 star comments so I don't expect a reply. Also, when you ask for a replacement beer whenyour choice is out, asked for a IPA that doesn't taste like an orange , ask for a sample. I would have returned but hubby hates to fuss. I think this is maybe my fourth stand burger that I've been to and I love them all they do everything very good. The food the onion rings. Everything was so good. It was so good to relax after being downtown and being on the road today I was so happy to get to the stand in Valencia on my way home to Lancaster. They never disappoint. Their service was wonderful. The ambience it's not too much. It's at a mall so parking is bad but once you get inside, you don't have to worry about anything. There's nothing on the menu that I don't like. I like everything from there I will be coming back again and again The only thing I wish they had was a crispy chicken sandwich. I just want to see how they would make one other than that I'm not really missing it. I just wonder how it would taste if they made one. read more

I truly wish I had something nice to say, but unfortunately, my experience with the Valencia location has fallen far short of what I've come to expect from the Northridge location. This past Saturday night, after a long and exhausting day, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner. I don't typically order food for delivery, but I had already settled in for the evening and placed an order from The Stand. When the food arrived, the bag was sealed and the receipt showed all three items we ordered--but inside, there were only two containers. Our main item--a $20 burger--was completely missing. I called the store, and the person who answered (I believe his name was Antonio) seemed surprised and said he would "find out who packed it." Honestly, that wasn't my concern. What mattered was that we didn't have the food we paid for. He offered to remake the burger, but only if we came to pick it up ourselves--which defeats the entire point of delivery. If I could have driven to the location, I would have done that in the first place and avoided the delivery fee altogether. He then said he'd leave a gift card for the value of the burger at the store. Again--helpful in theory, but not exactly useful in the moment, when dinner was completely ruined and we were left with part of a meal after waiting nearly an hour. All of this because someone couldn't take the time to double-check an order before it went out the door. Frankly, a missing $20 burger is unacceptable, and a partial credit doesn't really address the issue when the entire experience was disrupted due to a careless mistake. A full refund would have been more appropriate. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

This was my first time here so I was hopeful that I would really enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, that was not completely the case. It was alright! The employees were generally polite and welcoming. I say that because one of the employees that I interacted with at the register, Christian, was quite nice and seemed to want to assist me but, another employee, Augustin, when I went back to the register to place another order, was just going through the motions and could care. She was doing the minimum that the job required. She was nice enough and helpful enough but, it was not 100% genuine. Another disappointment was the fact that there were limited choices for me since I do not eat meat. I ended up getting the kale quinoa crunch salad. It was alright but, I am not a quinoa fan. However, my other choice was a tuna salad sandwich, which had premixed mayo in it, so I was better off with the salad. Food is great, but the service by staff leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived on Saturday ~ 2PM and there was a line almost to the door, but the majority of the restaurant was empty. The gentleman that took my order wasn't particularly friendly. No hello, no smile, no enthusiasm. Could've placed the order on a screen instead. The food arrived in a fairly timely manner, two hot dogs and two chicken sandwiches. When the lady dropped the food off, she almost threw it at us. No communication, no eye contact. Simply listed the items on the plates and impatiently threw them in the middle of the table and hastily walked off. A few moments later, I had to interact with this same person to get a knife to cut my daughter's hot dogs up. I stood at the counter for 30-45 seconds whilst she was preoccupied with another task, although I'm confident she knew I was standing there. Eventually, she turned her head and in a very irritated tone simply said "yes?". I politely asked for a knife, she did not look at me again nor say anything, just handed me the knife. Aside from all this, the trash wasn't being picked up very efficiently, napkins, knife's, forks, etc. weren't available for anyone without asking for them. We might return for the food, but may skip due to the competency and demeanor of the staff. read more

The burgers were outstanding, truly. The staff was lukewarm save management. I ordered fries but received waffle fries which I happen to hate and sucked when trying to dip into their SMALL sauce container (who wants to work to eat fries). EVERY unoccupied table was dirty and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE. I have always cleaned up after myself (did so that day) but honestly don't advertise to customer you'll clean their mess and then don't follow through. CLEARING a table and CLEANING a table are two totally different things. I'll give them one more go but I'm ready to drive to Northridge or Encino honestly. read more

We have been to other locations of the stand, but had not tried the stand in Santa Clarita yet. We had a lovely experience! I wanted to get a lettuce wrap instead of a bun and they did an awesome job with it, it wasn't falling apart or anything and I feel like that's usually how it is with lettuce wraps. My sandwich was spicy and coupled with crunchy chips and sweet coleslaw. The fire fries are super addicted and spicy, and the green beans are so delicious, the sesame oil and miso sauce is the best. I would recommend coming here for sure. We sat outside and they had nice heaters they helped us stay warm, but they also have plenty of seating indoors too. read more

My first time here but it will not be my last. Parking is easy if the front lot is crowed drop down to the lower lot. We were created by Blaine who was super friendly and helpful. My wife and I had the Stand burger one turkey one beef both were excellent we could not decide between rings and fries so we ordered both they did arrive cold but were quickly replaced. The coleslaw was very good. Make sure you try the pickles and get your sauces. Service to the table and they bus the tables quickly. The pace has a fun look eat them side or out. read more

Our first time at this location. We did go to their Encino location many years ago. This location is very nice inside, very welcoming with lots of seating inside and outside. Their menu is extensive although I was surprised to see that they only offer a beef hotdog, not a natural casing dog. My wife and I shared the chili dog and the stand burger. The burger was cooked medium rare, as we requested, and I thought that it was very good. The chili dog was good, except that the bun was a little hard ( I don't know if it was slightly stale or do they just not steam their buns) and I think that there was too much bun. Located by the side of the mall, easy entrance and plenty of parking. Space is big and has indoor and outdoor seating. Order is at the counter and they will bring food to your table when it is ready. Fountain drinks are available as self serve. I got the Ultimate Egg Burger which contains egg and bacon.. It was delicious with the aioli sauce that came with it. Nothing like long waits in the restaurant for your simple order while watching them take care of large takeout orders. Long live the internet order!!!!! The customer in line and the customer sitting there waiting is not their concern. Not in the least. The only thing that makes it worse is to complain and ask for a refund because you have to go back to work. They make you wait for that as well and have a rotten attitude for asking. Really bummed to see they eliminated the Impossible patty option for a house-made veggie patty. It's been kind of a burger renaissance for vegetarians as products that do a pretty good job of giving a burger-like experience came along (with Impossible and Beyond being at the forefront.) These allowed us to come into a place like The Stand and have a great experience just like our meat-eating friends and was a huge step forward from the exact kind of patty The Stand just introduced which, for us, is a huge step backward. Sure there are folks who like these kinds of things. They'll fill you up, but they don't really do a great job of simulating a burger experience which is what we go to places like The Stand for. In the words of our 14-year-old who just tried it "too much corn." Look, we love vegetables, but if it's burger night in our family, can they please be on the side, or toppings, instead of a replacement for the burger itself? There are plenty of places in the SCV (and anywhere there's a stand location) that serve up an Impossible or Beyond patty...we liked the upscale burger joint vibe of The Stand, but at this point, any of those places will be ahead of the Stand on our list of places to go when it's burger night for us. read more

Went here for the first time for a Santa Clarita Valley Deaf event. Several things to report that were not very positive. One, not sure if it was an employee or management, but they gave the group a hard time about moving the tables so that all the deaf folks and hearing folks could sit in a group to communicate with each other. I could totally understand if the place was packed, but it was not, and the tables were moved in such a way that they weren't blocking any walking pathways or taking up space. Secondly, for the price you pay for the food there, it definitely needs some improvement. The chicken teriyaki bowl was bland and the chicken was rubbery. The basic hamburger that I got was average to below average. The french fries are cooked in something that make them taste like cardboard and oil. Not to mention, the prices are ridiculously over priced for what you get. Will we go back? Yes, for a deaf event. But we will eat somewhere else before we go in here. read more

I saw this place when I drove by my local mall. It caught my interest. It replaced a fish grill restaurant that went out of business a year ago. It's clean and relaxing. I came on a Saturday night, and yet there weren't a lot of people inside. The food pictures enticed me, but I'm more of a healthy kind of guy. I only eat salads, and if the salad is a bit unhealthy, it counts as my cheat meal. Unfortunately, there might be pheromones with female androgens in it. The service was okay. It was fast and friendly. The quality of the food was great. I ordered the southwest salad with grilled chicken, especially after a hard workout at the gym. Price was high for a salad. I don't know what happened, but I remember when salads were less than 10$. This salad was about 15$. The salad was a decent size, tasted and looked fresh in my opinion. It had avocado and a BBQ and ranch dressing sauce. I didn't use the sauce for obvious reasons, diabetes! The experience and choice of meal was good on a Saturday as my cheat meal. I had a great mushroom burger, cooked medium. Fries were cold but I asked for replacement. The hot fries tasted a lot better. They weren't really airy like Red Robin's, but adequate. The space is wide but the acoustics made it noisy. The burger cost $14, on the pricey side, but it was better than most. I intend to come back again soon. read more

First time here.. this place which had an amazing SHORT RIB GRILLED CHEESE 10/10 (chipotle & beer braised beef, triple cheddar, bacon tomato jam, crispy onion strings, hickory sauce, on a double parmesan crusted sourdough) I really wanted you to see the ingredients because I won't eat anything else here. The Big Blue burger w/veggie Pattie .8/10 (beef patty, blue cheese, grilled onions, bacon, tomato, arugula, BBQ sauce, on a gourmet brioche bun.) my kid said I should post ingredients for this too.. the MAKE YOUR OWN BURGER 3/10 which tasted like a frozen patty and Stand fries 3/10 (Waffle fries with little to no seasoning) They could really do better in these categories but I digress.. The atmosphere was great and the location was very pleasant. The problem: The only drawback was ordering a burger Big Blue with a vegan patty on a burger and the young lady taking the order didn't inform me it had bacon and we wound up with a bacon burger with a vegan burger patty Not anyone's fault , BUT when someone prefers a vegan patty they should be informed by staff the burger normally has bacon. When I notified staff They quickly replaced the burger and it was really good. 8/10 Overall good visit but you gotta know what you're ordering. Service was amazing. The person at the register knew just what I wanted to hear. QUALITY! In house sauces, to beer battered rings. Yes.
