I'm actually quite surprised at how good the food is here and happy we have something decent in Valencia! Of course we stopped by because we had some coupons for BOGO free sandwiches and burgers so we definitely got to try a variety of items. Upon our first visit we got two short rib grilled cheese sandwiches, a french onion soup burger and a bbq brisket sandwich. The short rib grilled cheese is insane! The toast is coated in crispy parmesan and buttered really well; plenty of cheddar cheese for a gooey bite every time; the short rib completely melts with each bite and the bacon tomato jam offers a sweet and savory kick. The downside to this sandwich is that it's super heavy and rich, it's a pretty greasy sandwich so get your tums ready! The French onion soup burger was amazing as well! I've seen some reviews state the burgers are "burnt" as was ours, but I think it's more of a heavy char that adds flavor and a crispy exterior to the patty so I like it. The bun is soft, so cheesy, and the french onion "soup" au jus is light! Overall it's not as heavy or "oniony" as a typical French onion soup. We saved the bbq brisket which was, again, surprisingly great! The brisket was so soft and tender and even a day later, maintained it's texture. This one has a sweeter bbq sauce along with a sharp coleslaw full of pepperoncinis and a spicy mustard. The pretzel bun isn't as dense as most so I definitely like this pairing. A couple days later I returned to try their in house chips and cookies & cream shake. The chips are fantastic! All of them are HUGE and so crunchy. I will say I sort of expected them to be served warm so I guess they are not made fresh to order like fries. The ranch dipping sauce was interesting . . . it was unique and had good, fresh herbaceous flavors, but it was also incredibly rich and super thick. You can't dip chips or fries like typical ranch. And lastly, my absolute new favorite milkshake anywhere - this cookies & cream shake was out of this world! I returned again the following day for another one! It's so thick and FULL of cookie pieces without being overly sweet or rich! They definitely know how to make a balanced and classic milkshake. We'd gotten a flyer in the mail and had been meaning to try it. And that flyer was a great little introduction because this place is amazing. The inside is super open with plenty of seating and multiple TVs to watch sports on. There's also a great outdoor seating area as well. The food is phenomenal. The French Onion Soup Burger and Short Rib Grilled Cheese were the big winners, and that's an understatement. This burger was juicy, but the onion soup au jus on the side really brought it all together. The grilled cheese had a great crisp on the outside, and the short rib was so flavorful. A really good burger and sandwich restaurant! Restaurant Vibe: Order and pay at the counter, sit down and they'll bring your food to you. Serve yourself soft drink bar. Lots of seating, open floorplan. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have tons of selection on their menu, from hot dogs to salads and sandwiches to burgers. Staff: Super friendly and very efficient in taking the order. Food was delivered hot and we noticed that tables were wiped down whenever someone left. Food: Really good. The wife and I both had The Stand Burger, a basic hamburger with tomato, lettuce, pickles and their "Stand Sauce". The burgers were cooked to order (the wife does hers well done) and were obviously char grilled instead of flat grilled. They had great flavor and all the ingredients were fresh and tasted good. We also ordered their chili cheese fries, and they were served HOT. The chili was good and it was a great compliment to the burgers. Price: A little expensive (two burgers, side of chili cheese fries and two fountain drinks) was almost $40, so almost double a "Carls Jr" type pricing, but the food and service were excellent and definitely higher quality. I'm a BIG FAN of The Stand and pleased they have found a great location at Valencia Town Center! I introduced my bestie to The Stand today for lunch - YUMMY! Great staff, great food, healthy - ahem, in size, not necessarily in nutrients for what we ordered - portions and happy, satisfied guests. Owner/Management seems to have continued the standard of caring to hire outgoing, friendly personnel who actually engage with their guests, greeting them, checking in on them - even though this is an order at counter/sit down with your number/food brought to you type of restaurant. Staff regularly ask if we're good/everything is good. That seems like such a small interaction, and some may even think it's a no brainer, but I rarely see this level of professionalism and care in this food service format. I also like the mission statement/philosophy for The Stand and hope they continue to produce quality meals at fair prices. The fresh ingredients found in every entrée, salad, wrap and burger, the varieties of flavors in limited time specials and their made fresh daily beverages - you MUST try BOTH the Cucumber Mint Agua Fresca AND the Blueberry Lemonade! Was thrilled to try out The Stand for the first time during Yelp Elite week. Place was super busy on a Friday afternoon. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. I enjoyed the ABC burger. You could taste the smokiness of the grill on the beef patty. The bacon and avocado were a nice pairing with the brioche bun. The onion rings were crunchy but on the oily side. Didn't get the chance to try their popular custard shake but will have to get one next time for sure. For the value of the meal, it was on the pricey side at $12.50 for the burger alone but you could taste the quality of the ingredients. The Stand is your elevated American grill. Things you would find at your favorite local bar but given a lot more love. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and strand slaw. The sandwich was extremely tasty. But very heavy and even a little salty. Fortunately I ordered the cole slaw which helped balance out my meal. Previously I have tried their chicken sandwich and so far everything has been good. Surprisingly my favorite item is their blueberry lemonade. I find myself refilling multiple times. It's so good! I was passing by and saw this big orange sign. It said now open! I usually don't come over to the side of the Valencia mall so I was pleasantly surprised to see this Burger joint serving American cuisine. Parking: It's the day after Christmas, there was no parking which is to be expected. I was able to find park down the hill. They do also provide valet parking if you do not wanna take a walk but I say you know what, I'm about to eat this burger and fries, so let's get some exercise in before. The atmosphere is very nice. It's a little loud but that's expected because people are bringing their families and/or friends, they have several TV's on to watch different sports. They have an array of beverages. They have Agua Fresca's, as well as Blueberry lemonade. They have a variety of desserts, shakes, fries, and burgers. They also have a good variety of salads so if someone doesn't want to eat a burger, they have options as well. End result : Everybody can get something and enjoy their meal all at the same time and not have to stop several places. Only open three months per the cashier. Who was also very pleasant , greeted me with a smile and gave me the run down on all the deliciousness they have to offer. Be prepared to wait for you food. It's a new place and many people are off of work due to the Holiday and kids being out of school. I walked in starving from not having eaten all day to this cozy restaurant. There were a lot of young kids there as well as babies and a couple older adults. Everyone was having a good time because the atmosphere was friendly. The bathrooms you could eat off their floors they were so clean. All their tables and floors were clean and even the soda machine. I got take out a chicken sandwich with onion rings and it was so delicious! It has a sports TV in it's well as a cozier section. I'll definitely frequent them again. Was craving some American food, either a sandwich or a burger and stumbled upon this restaurant. I don't truly eat out in Santa Clarita, but was at the homies house and decided to eat at this place. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint and the only points deducted could be making a combo to make it cheaper. But overall, the quality was really good. I got a bbq beef brisket sandwich on a brioche bread instead of the pretzel bread that it came with (the guy taking my order recommended it that way), I also got sweet potato waffle fries and a strawberry shake. The sandwich was very juicy, tender, and had so much flavor compacted into that little sandwich. I highly recommend getting that, especially I'm very particular with American bbq just because I know a lot of establishments lack flavor. This establishment did not lack any flavor whatsoever. And the waffle fries, were nice and warm, and paired with the ranch *chefs kiss*. My other knockoff, was probably the shake, just because it tasted like they used a puree or syrup to make the strawberry shake and not fresh ice cream. BUT!!! The shake quality was very good and pretty cheap for a shake. This restaurant also gives complimentary pickles and lets their customers order and try as many dipping sauces as they want. They are a relatively newer addition to the Santa Clarita Valley area, located on the south side, sort of Southeast corner, of the shopping mall us locals refer to as the Valencia Center or the Valencia Mall. You access it from outside, it's a mall where some is outdoor promonade style, some is old school 1980's style indoor. They make solidly great fast casual burgers. They actually seem to give a damn if you enjoyed the food, something even some otherwise nice places do not do if it is delivery. Some places seem to act like if it's delivery, they don't have to care. Never felt like that with them. Their sides, toppings, variety and customizable options make them a great place to have a cheat night on your diet, and their delivery is very stable. read more

I've eaten at many of the Stands over the years and love the food. Today I ordered for pickup from Santa Clarita. I ordered a burger, hot dog, fries, and a chimichuri steak salad. Everything was great except the steak salad had no steak. Not even a little. I wasnt willing to do the 20 minute drive back to try and fix it but will be more diligent when doing to go orders from there in the future. Update: After leaving feedback on the Stand site, Oscar contacted me via email and made everything right. This place is near the mall and is usually one of the only places open when we are driving home late. It works out great. We charge our car and then we get a great meal. This is the third location of the stand that I've eaten at. The stand burgers and ABC burgers are very tasty, and their chips (potato chips) are fantastic!
