This floor was the only "thorn in my side" as it just didn't look good with anything I tried. We decided to do a thorough cleaning. Once cleaned of the 25 year build up, there were many small scratches and some faded spots from the sun. He then did a light screening and recoating with some water based polyurethane. Wow, the floors look so smooth, all scrathes filled in and now invisible, and with a brilliant shine from the satin finish. I now love my old "new" wood floors.
