They did NOT have a glass of wine available for less than $45 (+$20 cover). They have $30/glass on the menu but was out of stock according to the waitress. I also did not go to Sundance and am not here for that so his comment about being *out of my depth* is just dumb. I encourage you to look at the one star reviews of this place and see the owners' hostile, immature, and abrasive responses (others also note his blatant habit of lying). Stephen, book a therapy appointment. Original review below *********** There is a $20 cover charge to enter, and they were out of all of the cheapest ($30/glass) glasses of wine, so we were forced to get the next cheapest, a $45 glass of wine. Are you willing to spend $65 for a cheap glass of wine? They also only have five cocktails on the menu and you can't order anything else with liquor (I asked for a hot toddy cuz I'm freezing and they said no can do). The singer was good and the ambiance is nice; not very crowded. But overall, I would never pay $65/glass for mediocre wine unless I'm at an ultra luxury resort (which this is not).

Service can be slow and the food is unmistakenly Provençal: Beef tartar (nice mustard notes), Saffron Muscles, and Pressed Chicken. All dishes were light and authentic flavors to the region of Provence -- I think we just like other French regions better. HITS: Cocktails; Bread; Poulette (presents as a salad served on pressed chicken) MISSES: The muscles were dry - served in a small puddle of saffron beurre blanc. Service and a remarkable lack of knowledge by our waiter made Le Depot feel more like Le Dope. From the drink menu to the ingredients and preparation of some dishes, the waiter didn't possess some basic knowledge. Maybe we just asked "really hard" questions? The bar for service in PC has been set high by surrounding establishments like Handel, River Horse and Fletcher's, where the waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful .. this was the lasting memory from Le Depot.

Parker, the bartender, was pulling double duty as our server. Great attitude, BS and helpful at the same time. We started with a huge fries salad with lardons and poached egg that was well dressed. I had the chilled tomato soup (think creamy gazpacho). Both were excellent. We finished with a beautifully grilled sea bream that was shared. Total win. We will be back for the food, service and banter. Parker, I hope your quest for the perfect snow is fulfilled.

I love the experience of going up the vernacular to the bar area and the hotel and restaurant is very nice in general. The drinks and the food looked good. This is definitely the type of places I always go to with this kind of vibe. The drinks were good and very cute! For the food, I go back-and-forth because it wasn't very good, but it was good for bar food. But then it's really expensive for bar food so I would expect more... for escargot at fancy hotels or places in general I expected to be better and just like a few pieces. This felt like it was quantity over quality. The brussels sprouts were good, I would say that was the best food item that we tried. I was really excited about the escargot, so I'm a little disappointed. Our server was very nice and helpful! It was great service in the bar area, but the staff throughout the hotel getting there was not the friendliest. Overall, I don't regret coming here and I definitely want to give it another chance and possibly try the main restaurant.

Gave the St Regis a second chance after a disappointing first visit two months ago…read more I just don't get this place. You're the freaking St Regis! Why is there gross food all over the patio? Why does the hostess not pull out the heat lamp so we can actually get to our seats after she dumps us at a table? Your sister bar in Manhattan is perhaps the greatest cocktail bar ever made - where Dali himself once spent his final happy hours! This is basically a Mariott with 2 fancy funiculars. Not good enough for the brand. Not good enough for inflated rose.

I thought they were ok but extremely salty. The rest of my party did not like them. Then had a Caesar salad. Honestly one of the most bland Caesar salads Ive ever had. It may not be the worst caesar I've ever had but it is one of the most forgettable. For an entree, ordered the tagliatelle, it was also extremely bland and also forgettable. I only ordered it because I was sharing. I would have never chosen it if I was ordering on my own. Its the time of dish that leaves you disappointed and wanting something else. We sat outside. Weather was nice but there were a ton of flies. A few landed in our drinks and food. Not the restaurants fault. And not grading them down on this. If anything the weather was better than the fly experience. Based on my experience, I would maybe consider coming back but try something else besides the salad and pasta. Its a strong maybe though.
