This is a bittersweet moment for us. Running a restaurant like The Stuffed Olive has been our life's passion and our greatest joy; but it also has demanded everything we have and more. After pouring our hearts and souls into this beloved establishment for so many years, it's time for us to take a step back, to breathe, and to discover what's next. Most importantly, it's time for us to be truly present for ourselves and for our family. The Restaurant space is being handed over to a wonderful Father/Daughter team who are excited to start a new chapter in our space. They intend to bring their concept: The Potholder Cafe, a breakfast and lunch eatery into the Eagle dining scene. Alongside their new recipes will be some old favorites from the TSO menu. We're grateful that the legacy of TSO being a locally-owned, family-run space will continue with this new duo. Came here with our daughter on a Thursday night. We were greeted by a female server who asked if we had a reservation. We replied no, not realizing that we needed one, but noticing that the place is rather small. Fortunately, there was a table for four at the entrance. Our server was good, though a little loud. Our daughter ordered the pasta primavera, my wife the walnut crusted salmon, and myself the cheesy penne with meat sauce. All entries were good. They also offered complimentary bread that was also good. My daughter and I had IPA beers. Unfortunately, they don't have beer on tap. Prices are reasonable. I'm sure we'll be back. Crostini changes with the season, but is always really good. The garlic parmesan fries are really not crack cocaine, but are as addictive. They have a membership program that gives you great value for your repeated patronage. With the better weather, the outdoor seating is a good option. Always great service;. The kitchen staff is fabulous. If you haven't tried it, you are really missing one of the best places to eat anywhere in Southern Idaho. Design your own meal - I think angel hair pasta with shrimp, sundried tomatoes, tossed with garlic & olive oil and topped with goat cheese is just about the most perfect thing to eat. Great little Italian restaurant with a few surprises! Food: 4.5/5. For an appetizer, we had the special which was friend Mac and cheese balls. I felt they were a little bland and could have used more of the sauce that was underneath. I got the baked tuscan penne, which was pretty good. I wish there were a few more tomatoes and artichoke hearts, but overall it satisfied by pasta craving. My husband had the Wagyu beef olive burger. The burger was amazing! The fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. I am still thinking about those fries. The complementary bread is delicious as well! Service: 5/5. The service was great. We got seated quickly and were constantly taken care of. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time as well. The waitress was friendly as well. Atmosphere: 4/5. The restaurant is fairly small so we ended up sitting outside. The outside patio is an interesting place to dine and can be a bit noisy being right on State Street. Kid Friendly: 4/5. Being such a small restaurant, I would not necessarily recommend this restaurant for kids. We did see some kids inside that had highchairs. There is a kids menu of pasta, pizza, and chicken nuggets. I found this place while on my way to another lunch spot. Had never heard of it, but apparently it's been here for 20 years tucked away in this little shopping center area. The current chef has had it operational for five years. Tons of great parking, even up to the front door. It's tiny when you initially walk in with about eight tables, but they recently expanded next-door so it should open up. The ambience is relaxing with background music from Sinatra and other swooners. You really wanna settle in for some good long conversation here. Everything was immaculate. You could tell that they really take care to ensure cleanliness is first and foremost. The menu is easy to read and very reasonably priced. I asked for the daily special and the server, who had a great attitude and warm personality, shared they had a turkey and bacon club with basil pesto, tomato and other goodies on an in-house made focaccia. All of it is lightly toasted and warm when it arrives. I ordered it with a side of fries, but it also comes with a salad or soup. This amazing sandwich did not disappoint in any way. The ratio of meat to accompaniments to spread and bread were perfect. The bread was not too thick. The basil pesto was not excessive. The meat was perfectly toasted. The size of the sandwich is enough to fill any appetite from small to large. It was in fact the best sandwich I've had in years. Recall from my bio that I was a chef and I had a deli where I made sandwiches that were award-winning. I have to admit, I had nothing on my menu that could even come close to this delicious sandwich. It seems pretty simple to be able to put some meat and spread on a nice bread and heat it, but this went beyond simple. The flavor profile hit on all cylinders. I ordered the fries and they too were perfect. Hot and crispy with just enough garlic, and Parmesan to taste it, but not overwhelm it. I cannot say enough about this meal. Between the service, the delicious food, and the ambience, this is now my go to place for lunch. Out of all the Italian restaurants I've been to in my life, this one definitely ranks among the top five. The food is absolutely delicious and I'm really huge portions. The prices are a bit high, but the quality and "to die for" taste of the food makes it worth it. The wait staff is very friendly, but the only problem I had was that it takes a very long time for the food to arrive, even the appetizers, but I assume that's because everything's made fresh. The place is very beautiful, but it's also very small, so it's best to ALWAYS make a reservation, even though they're open seating, but like I said, it's a very small place, so in order to "guarantee" a table, it's best to make a reservation. All in all, a very good place with great food served in huge portions that definitely won't disappoint read more

I did not like my food however, it was very bland and did not have much flavor, I also ordered tiramisu and it appeared to just be lady fingers with whipped cream on top. We just found Idaho's best kept dining secret: The Stuffed Olive! Their menu has a broad range of specialty items ranging from pastas, meat and veggie lasagna, salmon, chicken, salads, sandwiches and much more. Their "Chef Specials" consist of tasty homemade appetizers; flatbread, crostini. For example an entree of brown butter and burrata gnocchi paired with a wonderful dessert of mini peaches and cream trifle. The food is amazing, hats off to the chef Liz Martin. Absolutely wonderful server! I was sharing a main dish with my mom and they were kind enough to split it up for us on separate plates without having to ask for it. The prime rib dip was perfect. Lots of flavor in the sandwich and au jus. The fries were tasty! I also had a side Caesar that was much bigger than I expected and my mom had a cup of tomato soup, also a larger portion than expected. Everything was so tasty and the service was great. A small, but busy little restaurant. I tried the salmon salad, which I would have to say that the salmon was the best cooked that I ever had! It was cooked PERFECTLY! My wife got the chicken breast Tuscan salad, and her chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. The tables and atmosphere was not old and worn, but also not spectacular, but average cafe fare. It was clean and inviting. The server was helpful, answered questions, and followed up several times during the meal. The only big complaint was the time it took to get our salads. The people next to us were just getting their food when we ordered, and they were done, paid their bill and had left before we got our food. We were starting to ask each other how much longer we should wait before paid for our drinks and left. I said, "With it taking that long, I hope that they are cooking it with love!" The stuffed olive is a small Italian restaurant next to Albertsons in Eagle. My wife and I enjoy their attentive service, great soups, good sandwiches and fresh pastas. Our favorite is the lemon ricotta pasta. I would like to see more protein focussed entrees but that isn't their focus. Love coming in to see him as our server. The food has always been excellent. One of the best Caesar salads in boise. The Turkey sandwich is to die for. My fiancé loves her vegetarian pasta that they make "off-menu" for her. The pricing is quite affordable for nice Italian. Beers are super cheap, too. Cozy patio for warm summer months is fantastic. I'm so glad we found this place. We live in Nampa so it's a bit of a hike but decided to grab a drink and an appetizer before dinner reservations across the street. We sat on the patio and honestly fell in love with it. I had two glasses of Prosecco and my bf had two glasses of flat rosé. Both wines were great and affordable. Trying this tiny restaurant for the first time with lots of hope that it will be amazing. The tomato soup was amazing, just as hoped. 3 lovely little croutons, obviously scratch made. Topped with parm, my choice. Then came the meatball sandwich on sourdough. When trying a new Italian restaurant I always try the meatballs. If they are fabulous, chances are the other items will be too. Unfortunately they were tough rather than tender. The sandwich as a whole was dry. Not enough sauce which definitely didn't help the tough meatballs. More sauce might have helped. Probably should have asked for some. Our first time here and it was so yummy. We have been so disappointed in restaurants lately but we wanted something new and so we gave here a try and oh man are we leaving FULL and HAPPY! Our server Jaden was very nice and welcoming. We sat outside but at quick glance inside the place looked clean and comfortable. Husband and I shared the Portobello Formaggio appetizer and it was super yummy, the portobello caps were thick and hearty. For entrees we got the shrimp scampi and the cheese chicken prosciutto sandwich and they were both full of flavor and so good. I would get either one again. The scampi had 6 large shrimp and wasn't too greasy. The sandwich was perfect. And you could actually taste the prosciutto. Great little spot in Eagle, ID with excellent service and good food. For appetizers we had calamari, olive hummus, and the parmesan fries. The calamari was good, the olive hummus came with tortilla chips, which didn't make much sense to me since I would assume you'd add pita bread or maybe a toasted cracker of some kind, and the parmesan fries were so good! I had the crusted salmon, which was really good although not fully cooked, and they were out of the mushroom risotto so they offered me pasta. The tomato soup was pretty good, although personally I'd like it to be a bit more dense and less watery. We finished with the dessert flight of tiramisu, berry panna cotta, and a couple others and they were all relatively good. One with apples was super sour but all in all, pretty good. read more

For the main, I got the arribiata (med heat) with meat. She got the seasonal pasta with sausage. Both were excellent and we took servings home with us.
