This is a really cute spot to stop. The people who work there are really nice and it's super clean. I would definitely suggest coming if your looking for a good place to have some lunch and dessert.

chicken sandwiches with toppings and shake! :D 1.00 more to add a drink and soda (5.00 for sandwich!)

Went here for dinner last night! It kind of a hidden spot and soon to be a big hit in McK. sense the options for food in this area are quite slim to start. Very casual fun place, with video arcade games. Someone was hosting a birthday party there last night. Very friendly customer service. The sandwiches where excellent. Not enough options for toppings I would have preferred some, shredded carrot, cilantro, and maybe some cabbage. But for 5.00 each I cannot complain! I wish I would have asked if the meat was local....(?) The ice cream was really good, I am also wondering now if that was local Humboldt Creamery ice cream? Great choice if you are in McK!

Closed an hour early! This is the third time I've come, and they closed early. Please stop closing early, or change your hours!

Came here on a Monday very hungry, and it wasn't very busy at all. I saw a sign before we were…read moreseated for a $16 ribeye sandwich special, which is what I ordered. First of all, massive portion. Plate was overflowing with food, and the sandwich had a good size piece of meat. The meat was flavorful and tender, cooked to a good medium rare. The fries impressed me as well. I'm often weary of diner fries because they tend to be soggy, but these were crispy and had a good amount of seasoning, which I really liked. Would definitely come back to peppers when they have this deal. Best ribeye sandwich deal I've ever seen.

Overall, the food was very good, it was packed well, and it came quickly. Unfortunately, the order came with no plastic silverware, no napkins, just the food. Did they not see that this was going to a motel? Fortunately, I had a plastic fork from another meal, and I just used TP for napkins. Please pay a little bit more attention to the details. I decided to go with the à la Mexicana omelette, which had spicy beef, cheese, salsa, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, olives, and green onions. Basically, a "taco omelette." it also came with jalapeños, but I put in the comments to please leave them out, and they did. To drink, I had a "Tutti Frutti", which was orange and cranberry juice, with Sprite. The omelette was very good. They were generous with all of the ingredients. I love a good "taco omelette", and this was right up there with others that I have had. The eggs were tender, the beef and the salsa had just a little bit of a spice, just enough that I knew it was there. I liked the sour cream And The lettuce and the diced tomato provided a nice "pop" of freshness. I loved the drink. The orange and the cranberry played very well together, and they didn't put in so much sprite that it watered down the rest of the flavors. The hashbrowns were OK, just generic restaurant hashbrowns, and I wish they would've given me a choice of the bread when I ordered. I would've mentioned it in the comments, but I didn't think about it. It was just your standard white toast. It was OK, but I would've preferred like a nice sourdough, or rye, or something like that. They have a lot of things on their menu, and I would definitely order from here again, either delivery or in person. Thank you.

It's generally very difficult to find a jewel of authenticity in many restaurants since there is no money in maintaining the highest quality of food and traditions. Unless of course you're French Laundry status. Let me tell you about this new place I have tried multiple times due to my work. I am so lucky to have found this gem in the most unlikely place! It's the hidden Garden Court Cafeteria of MRCH. I don't really know how and why it is, but I know a great restaurant, when I try their most basic things or their daily specials in the menu. In this restaurant particularly I am completely mesmerized and satisfied with the quality, quantity, price, service and the taste, mostly the taste! All the things that matter for the solid five stars. This fabulous hospital cafeteria has the unique garden to table philosophy with two acres of their own natural organic farm with no spray, Humboldt grass fed beef, Muddy Waters Coffee Co., and Wild Planet Tuna! I had double cheeseburger with amazing patties, usual wheat buns, lettuce, tomato and plenty of pickles. The single bite took me back thirty years ago, when I took a bite into my very first and the best juicy burger at the hole in the wall burger shack at Walters, Oklahoma! What a truly amazing experience! Rarely the hamburger can dig deeply into your long term memory box and pry open to give you the glimpse of the old days! The breakfast with traditional biscuits and thick gravy was also delicious earlier this morning ! I love this place. Teresa is the head chef. There are two men who make the best biscuits and gravy as well as maintaining the best tasting fresh garden vegetables in the amazing salad bar! Guys and Gals: please don't all come at once, leave some for me! My Mukbang friends----Come on over.

The ladies who were working today were friendly and nice. My sister had a Caesar salad, my niece had the barbecue chicken salad and I had the BLT. FME is more than a market or a place to get a bite or a beer. It is a community center for the people that live in and around Fieldbrook. When we got there, we had a hard time finding a place to park. It seems like there was a party going on--we could hear lots of people having fun--behind the market in a huge tent. We later found out that after people get food from the eatery, they can take their food back to the tent and catch up with their friends. The eatery has a bar that you can sit at or take your food back to the large tent that I described earlier. You can watch the cooks prepare your food. I ordered a Ruben and asked for it to be an open face sandwich. What they did, to my surprise, was that they took each piece of bread and put corn beef, sauerkraut, and cheese on each piece of bread. It was really enough food for my hubby and myself--and yummy!!! He ordered a delicious cup of Tuscany soup and a cheeseburger - both very delicious. He had a red beer, and I had a Cherry cider. I was happy to see that they also have kombucha on tap!!! The market is a country market where you can buy basic things like kindling, toilet paper or primary groceries. A local man told me that they used to have the tallest redwoods in the world at Fieldbrook - over 400 feet tall. The walls of the market have some of the old saws that were used to cut the trees down in 1896. They were also games on the shelves for you to play with. The place was very eclectic. There were some leather goods for sale, as well as Amber beads. I wish we had had more time to really look at everything that was there.
