Had very high hopes, but was super disappointed. After waiting over 45 minutes for our food (4 meals), and seeing others come and go, I was told they were working on it. My sons burrito came out rudely. She tossed it on our table and we had to ask what it was. She was very flippant and said "the surf and turf burrito" We told him to start eating because we expected the rest to come out very soon. Well, it didn't, and his burrito was cold! 10 minutes later another meal came out...just one and it was tossed on the table yet again. The employee's attitude was very nasty. That was it for us. I did not want to leave this review but I'm going to because my last visit was unacceptable. I've eaten here a few times now, the last time I ate here, I was impressed by the customer service but it was just one of 3 times so I ignored it and figured it might have just been a bad day. Yesterday I was tired after a long week so I decided to order some food for pick up. I arrived 20 minutes after placing my order and was told they were still working on it. So I moved to the side and waited. I waited for another 20 minutes. When my food was ready it was a different person helping so I didn't want to make a fuss but I was annoyed that he couldn't tell me it was just getting started or had not been started. How does it take 40 minutes for a taco order? When I got home, my asada taco was cold and the cheese had a weird consistency, there was no limes or salsa. Who eats tacos with no salsa or limes? Never been to a place where they don't give or offer them already so I really didn't think to ask. Never getting takeout from here again, utterly disappointing. read more

This place was alright. I feel like I had really high expectations and this place really just did not hit the spot. We ordered the doritos asados & they look NOTHING like the picture they have on their website. There was literally just doritos, cheese and meat in there. Extremely salty. We also ordered the loaded fries with Al pastor. Again. These were extremely salty. Came with just beans, cilantro & onions. I was really disappointed in these cuz I love loaded fries and they weren't really loaded with all the toppings as you would see in the picture. Their Birria tacos with consome were pretty decent. Also ordered the birria Ramen which was alright, they are shy with the meat portions. Overall, not really impressed with this place. I probably wouldnt go back. I was super excited to see this pot opening but after being In the neighborhood of the Chandler blvd location we decided to stop in and try the tacos. $3.59 for a street taco is to much and the flavor lacked. No fountain for drinks so they don't even offer water unless you buy a bottle. Most taco spots you can get a combo of 3 tacos with beans and rice - not here beans and rice is $1.89 each. Went to this place for the first time last night, was really wanting birria tacos, however the food that they served us to go which we saw once we got home, we only checked to make sure everything was in the bag, they didn't give to go boxes, everything was just wrapped in foil. I was highly amazed at the rice they served us and that they would even serve it to a customer. The rice was so hard and crispy, it wasn't just burnt rice it was a texture as if the rice had been sitting out for hours with the air hitting it for it to get a stale type of hard, we got 2 sides of rice and non of it was eatable. It was so disappointing. The birria tacos are fairly small for there price, and the birria was not juicy at all it was rather dry, the birria sticking out of the taco was all hard as if it had been sitting out letting air hit it once again. The consome was very spicy which I've never had a consome that is which was really weird and not appetizing at all. I will not try this place again, nothing about it fulfilling to me. read more

This is a definite must-try place! They have so many good things on their menu, it's hard to just pick 1. I used to drive to the Chandler location and I'm so glad to have one closer to home. Have to share today's experience. I pulled up taco spot on my phone's maps. Called the location and placed my order. They told me it'll be ready in 15 minutes. I drive over and tell them I called in my order. They said you called the wrong location, apparently there is a map issue. They said if I wait they can make my order. So I order and then they inform me that it would 40 minutes. I was in disbelief. But the manager stepped in and said I will make sure to rush your order and get you taken care of. I waited for about 10 minutes. As always, food was amazing and seriously so grateful for the staff stepping in and taking care of me even though it wasn't their fault. The hospitality here is amazing. Every time I come here all the employees have a great attitude and are super friendly. The place is very nicely decorated and overall has a welcoming ambiance. The food is also delicious. it's hard to find a good mexican food establishment with this much consistency and overall quality of food. They don't skimp out on protein either. When you come here you can expect consistency and amazing food each and every time. I had an uber pickup that wasn't ready when I arrived so the very nice lady up front offered me a drink while I waited. My new thing is trying new taco places. I was driving by on Elliot and spotted this place so decided to try it. The interior is very clean, wide open and spacey. The staff are very friendly and the young girl at the register let me know what some of their more popular items were. I decided to be adventurous and try the birria beef taco, and learned that I don't like birria beef. Haha the taco was also very small and pretty pricey. However I also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was absolutely enormous. The only bummer was it didn't come with Pico, quac or sour cream. I asked later and they gave me some for no charge. It was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back for that quesadilla but I'll skip on the birria...not for me. This place is awesome.
