What an awesome experience . This was the freshest fusion food I have ever eaten !!!! The service was excellent and the decor was very nice. What a great wat to spend a Saturday afternoon. Komex also offers catering as well with lots of variety. New favorite restaurant. Please see pics.

Service and portions were excellent. I had the Bulgogi which was good. I happened to be on that side of town and decided to stop in.

What a great fusion idea! Korean, American and Mexican style food. All beef is bulgogi and the flavor pairs well with any dish. This place is located just minutes from the strip and in a quiet complex off the street. Plenty of seats for a small or large group. Service was great from start to finish and would you believe that 4 meals and 20% tip was under $100! So it was a bargain! Plus the size/portions are generous! Can't decide what to order, order a couple entrees and share. Waitress was more than happy to explain the menu and popular selling items, they also gave you chips and salsa. The tator tots was just mouth watering and delicious! We were also provided a sweet Korean sauce and a salsa, both paired well but I enjoyed the sweet sauce more (though not sweet) and hubby enjoyed the salsa. We ended up getting extra sauces! They sell them separately for the holidays it makes great gifts too!! The food was just absolutely amazing for the ethnic styles, it paired very well together. The Chimichanga was bulgogi as well amd the Enchilada sauce was delicious. While now internal sauce, it was super cheesy and moist! The fried rice needed nothing as it was so tasty and moist! I normally need soy sauce or something extra but it was perfect as cooked! Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Located in a very unassuming strip mall on Decatur just off the 95, this hidden gem is definitely a must do for all foodies!!! They offer an excellent Korean-Mexican fusion menu with selections ranging from tacos and enchiladas to fried rice - you really have an amazing range to tempt every palette! Our waitress was friendly and recommended the chimichangas, which had bulgogi beef and were fantastic! My husband tried the combo fried rice with beef, chicken, and shrimp, and they had veggie options for our veggie friendly girlie. Overall, this was a wonderful meal, with a ton of leftovers, and fresh, tasty ingredients. Do not let the location scare you off, they're worth the extra effort to get over there and they offer to-go/pick-up!

ChimmyChonga was awesome!! Good chips and salsa. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the food was fresh.

Fusing food from different cultures doesn't always work well, but this place pulls it off incredibly well. I had a pork bulgogi burrito with some spicy gochujang salsa. They also brought out complimentary chips and salsa, and bottled water. The setting is definitely casual, but comfortable, and their background music playlist was nice.

Great little mom and pop spot that treats the customers right. They were so friendly here and the food was unique and delicious. I really enjoyed it.

We ordered the burrito and the Philly cheesesteak along with the fusion wings. I wish the wings had a bit more sauce, they were a bit on the drier side. The portion of the sandwiych and burrito were huge. The food was very good and it didn't have the Mexican and Korean mix taste. The prices are very reasonable, i would definitely recommend this spot to others for its unique flavors. The server was great and very attentive to our table.

Hungry? Looking for something different? Try Komex! A quaint little 'hole in the wall' serving Korean-Mexican fusion. The Bulgogi is delicious. Trust me, I've been to Korea five times. And as another testimony, you know it's good food when you see Metro eating there. There's a wide variety of choices. You can go Korean, Mexican or fusion. It's fresh and you can see the food being prepared. It's not glamorous, it's funky and friendly. Just my style. It's delicious, affordable food. Bon appétit!

Komex Fusion is a small casual Mexican-Korean-Fusion Restaurant. It is a small place that isn't fancy but seems clean. They offer fusion and Mexican tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and lots of bulgogi cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, sliders, flautas, a children's menu, and lots more. Soft beverages are served here. This restaurant also has been recognized by many such as Food Network, The Cooking Channel, Las Vegas Review Journal, Buzz Feed, and more! Whatever you order they start you off with complimentary chips and very good salsa. If you order water you get a complimentary bottled water. We tried a bunch of things - (pork, chicken, fish tacos, fried won tons, bulgogi grilled cheese, and the famous beef bulgogi toastada) What blew us away was that all proteins were expertly prepared. They were all tender and delicious. Everything we tried was generously packed. My personal favorite was the famous toastada....It had the most going on with it. But everything exceeded my expectations. My husband is undecided if he will get the bulgogi grilled cheese or a toastada next time because he enjoyed them both so much! Service was PHENOMENAL. The lady serving us could not be more friendly, helpful or efficient. I have to highly recommend Komex Fusion You will enjoy!

Bulstrami Burrito with Fries - what a treat!

Kotex Fusion is a friendly neighborhood place with truly unique and delicious food. that they call Korean-Mexican Fusion. the food is a mix of Mexican dishes with a Korean flair or vice versa based on what you order. Everything we have tried has been delicious and well prepared. We have enjoyed a variety of tacos (fish., pork, chicken), Krispy wontons and many other items. A personal favorite is the Bulgogi Grilled Cheese on Texas Toast. Another standout for me is the Famous Bulgogi Tostada which is served on a crispy rice patty instead of a tortilla. The blend of flavors on this is truly different and perfect. My most recent favorite is not on the menu but was a special. I hope you get to try it someday. It was the amazing Bulstrami Burrito with Fries Inside. A combination unheard of until now. It's a burrito with grilled Pastrami, Bulgogi, Onions, Pickles , Mustard and Jalapeños, Plus fries all rolled together in a tasty tortilla. It's huge as well as delicious. The large portions of food is all served surprisingly fast in a clean and simple dining room by extremely friendly, happy and helpful staff. All that at very reasonable prices!

Yea not worth $13 where's the meat?

I ordered the fusion tator tots. But I think they forgot the meat . First time trying this place . Won't be going back and I only ordered 2 things. Not worth the $27

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

However, it was $20, and I still felt like I needed another burrito afterward. The carne asada nachos looked were made with a mix of ground beef and carne asada instead of just carne asada. The most disappointing item was the $15 bean and cheese burrito. I included a photo in this review because it was mostly tortilla, and the cheese wasn't even melted. As for the churros, we originally ordered regular churros, but they told us they didn't have plain churros available on a Friday night, so we were pushed into getting the strawberry ones instead. Despite being strawberry flavored, they were drenched in cinnamon and sugar. They were awful.
