Believe the reviews this was my worst dining experience ever - terrible service, food isn't worth the money and safety concerns. We went this Saturday for Magical Dining and a friends birthday and didn't read the reviews prior to making reservations...big mistake. We made a reservation, when we got to the restaurant they said they were waiting for a table to leave, so we waited a little past our time, no problem there, but the table never left so they threw a chair on the end of a 4top, which is normally fine, but the chair was right behind the computer and bar the servers used so it was cramped and constant activity right behind me. Once seated it took 45 minutes, yes, 45 minutes to get water glasses...not even the water, just the glasses. Our server then took our drink order...we ordered a bottle of champagne and it took another 30 minutes to bring that to our table and they do not have any ice buckets so it was just plopped on our table. The server took our order and it took another 50 minutes to get our appetizer. He apologized and just said the kitchen was backed up. Wedge salad was small and the use of Thousand Island dressing on it threw us. While waiting we noticed a person who kept coming in and out of the restaurant...they looked like they potentially worked there, but come to find out they didn't. Earlier in the night, according to the host, they kicked this person out of the restaurant, but they allowed him to continue to come in and out of the restaurant for more than an hour. He would stand by the host stand, then go sit at a table, then walk behind me to play with the restaurants computer. This happened over and over and over and was completely unprofessional. Finally the guy walked over to a table that was occupied but the patron went to the bathroom and left his phone, this person went over and picked up the unattended phone, luckily the patron saw and a loud argument ensued between them. They kicked the guy out again but didn't call the cops, the table next to us were the ones who called the cops. This could have ended really badly and why they didn't address this earlier in the night and allowed it to continue for hours, I will never understand. It was at this time the "manager" if you can call her that came out to see what was going on, she did nothing, the table next to us complained about the wait, their dinner and their safety and when she walked past our table, I proceeded to do the same to which she told me "just try to enjoy it" and walked away. Are you serious? I was baffled. It was evident our server was overwhelmed as well as he was not attentive to our table, had our orders wrong and his attitude was frazzled but I don't blame him given what I saw that night. This place does not care about their patrons safety or their service level. The steaks came out, one of our group upgraded her steak to the 8oz filet and when it came out it looked the same as our 6oz...the server admitted it looked the same and then left the table. The food wasn't good. My steak was overdone, but I didn't sent it back cause it had already been about 2.5 hours to get it. Our meal ended up taking 3 hours and that was asking for our dessert and checks the minute our steaks came out. There are so many good steakhouses in Orlando and specifically in Winter Park that this place is not worth your time, money or your safety to go here. It's clear no one cares about providing a good experience and that comes directly from the top. Beautiful restaurant, but the service didn't match the price We arrived 10 minutes early for our 8:30 PM reservation. There was only one host, who was away from the host stand for almost 10 minutes, leaving us and three other couples waiting to be seated. There also isn't much of a waiting area, so the arrival experience felt disorganized. The ambiance was beautiful -- upscale, dim, intimate, and perfect for a steakhouse. Once seated, our server came over within five minutes, but mentioned there were no water glasses available and that she'd have to find some. I also politely asked for lemons with our water. About 20 minutes later, she returned to ask if we had questions about the menu. We were doing the Magical Dining menu and already knew what we wanted, so we ordered our cocktails, appetizers, entrées, and dessert all at once. Another 10-15 minutes passed before our water AND cocktails arrived together. Our drinks were finished by the time our appetizers arrived. The cocktails were very well made, and once we finally had water, our server was diligent about keeping it full. Unfortunately, I never did get the lemons I had requested. The lobster bisque was excellent -- a little salty, but the fresh chunks of lobster were a huge bonus. We devoured it. Our server later said she was behind on bread, so she brought us one fresh piece with their house-made butter. Both were delicious, but with only two people at the table, we would have appreciated one piece each. Our entrées took about 45 minutes. They were out of the 6 oz steaks, so I had to pay extra for the larger one. On the bright side, our entrées and side arrived together, everything was warm, and the food itself was very good. Unfortunately, the service continued to be inconsistent. We ordered another cocktail, but I changed my mind and wanted to cancel it. We couldn't find our server for about 30 minutes, and when we finally did, she was bringing the drink. I decided I'd try it, but honestly didn't want it and hadn't touched it. I asked if she could take it back, and she said, "It doesn't really work that way, I can't give your drink to someone else, and we won't take it off your bill." I understand restaurants have policies regarding drinks, but the way this was communicated felt unnecessarily dismissive. After an awkward silence, she added that the kitchen could take the difference off our steak upgrade. We appreciated that gesture, but the interaction was uncomfortable. Our server did box up our food for us, which we appreciated. Then dessert became another issue. A different server brought us the wrong dessert. When we pointed it out, she looked extremely startled and rushed over to our server, who checked her booklet and confirmed the mistake. They went back to the kitchen, and our server later told us the correct dessert was on its way. It was now around 10:30 PM, so my partner asked if she could bring our check while we waited for dessert. Our server looked surprised and said, "But your dessert isn't here yet." We explained that we knew, but wanted the bill. She then asked, "Are you wanting it to go?" We said no, we simply wanted the check, and she walked away. Another unnecessarily awkward interaction when we were just trying to start paying. Finally, our dessert arrived. The brownie was described online as a "warm brownie with crumbled Oreo cookie served a la mode with whipped cream, chocolate, and caramel sauce." Unfortunately, ours was ROCK HARD. By the time we paid and left, we had been there almost three hours from when we were seated. For what we paid, we expected a much more polished experience. There were definitely positives: the beautiful ambiance, excellent cocktails, delicious lobster bisque, great bread and butter, and very good entrées. Our server also kept our water full and boxed our food for us, which we appreciated. However, the long waits, difficulty finding our server, forgotten lemons, inconsistent communication, drink issue, incorrect dessert, and disappointing brownie ultimately overshadowed the good parts. For an upscale steakhouse at this price point, we expected much better service and attention to detail. We left feeling like we paid a lot of money for an experience that simply wasn't worth it. We came with a large group for Magical Dining and were super disappointed. We had made a reservation well in advance and still ended up waiting 30 minutes for our table. The server seemed overwhelmed at times and would disappear for long periods of time. When we would try to order more drinks, he would tell us to wait and then not come back. We would have bought more of them if given the opportunity though my husband's old fashioned had way too much bitters and was not good. The food portions seemed small, especially the sides and apps, but not sure if they did smaller portions for magical dining. The food came out sporadically and they completely forgot my husband's appetizer and when it finally did come (the salmon chips) it was cold and not very good. We had to keep reminding the server what we were waiting on and the dinner took 3 hours. That being said, the wedge, steak, truffle Mac and cheese, and coconut dessert tasted great. We found the BoVine steakhouse by chance when looking for places to go for brunch on a Sunday. It was empty except for 4 very loud people at the bar, so we decided to sit outside. We ordered the New England Lobster Roll, The Chicken Salad Croissant, and an order of the Salt Brined Fries. The Lobster Roll had quite a bit of lobster claw meat and tasted great. The Chicken Salad Croissant was loaded with chicken salad and was also very good. The only issue was there was no way the croissant was going to hold and support all that chicken salad, so it became more of a salad plate after it fell apart. We went to Bovine for Magical Dining with our adult children and were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, overall, it was just okay. Although we had a reservation, we waited about 20-30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was very busy, and our food took quite a while to arrive. We were never brought bread, so we eventually had to ask for it. Three of us ordered different selections from the Magical Dining menu--the 6 oz. filet, lamb osso buco, and pork chop. My son ordered the duck. While the presentation of the dishes was nice, the Magical Dining selections were good but not great. The duck was definitely the star of the night. There were also some disappointing details. The lobster bisque was not hot, and the short rib egg rolls were just okay. Several wines were unavailable, including one we had enjoyed so much that we wanted a second glass, only to find they had already run out. The desserts were probably the weakest part of the meal. The Oreo brownie was very dry, and we ended up leaving part of it. We also ordered a chocolate cake to take home, but unfortunately, it did not taste fresh. The ambiance was also underwhelming and did not have the upscale or impressive atmosphere we were expecting. First timers so decided to go for Magical Dining. Inside is dimly lit and cozy. We sat at the bar and Aaron was stellar. He was working hard but on top of it all and quite personable with all the guests. We loved the salmon chips and spring rolls. The filet was delicious although maybe a smidge over but not enough to send back. The crab stuffed fish was tasty but my partner "fished" out a surprising amount of bones in almost every bite. A couple here or there is not uncommon of course but this was a lot more than should have been, so just be aware if you order. Desserts were good but very small. Maybe a magical dining portion? I can't say for sure. All in all I believe we will try again maybe for happy hour as the options we saw were appealing for both food and drink. read more

We had Mother's Day brunch here and it was a good experience. Service was friendly, but slow. Our table had two seats against pillars and it was difficult to fully seat everyone. We had to move chairs around to be comfortable. The ambiance was nice. I enjoyed a cappuccino. For my entree, I got the lobster eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes. The dish was solid with tender lobster and plenty of toppings. However, it wasn't hot enough. My family enjoyed the veggie omelette, French onion soup, and seafood. I should preface this by saying I rarely write negative reviews, as I typically only leave feedback when I'm thoroughly impressed. I believe any restaurant can have an off day. However, our experience at The Bovine Steakhouse on Mother's Day was a complete failure. We had a 5:30 PM reservation, arrived on time, and were seated on time. Yet, we didn't receive our food until 8:15 PM. The kitchen was backed up, but the service compounded the issue. Our waitress, though pleasant, missed several items we requested, and we eventually gave up on some of them after repeated attempts. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. My tomahawk steak--ordered medium-rare--was chewy, lacked seasoning, and I had to salt it myself despite ordering the parmesan crust and truffle butter. The rest of the table had similar complaints, and we all agreed the quality did not justify the price. What made this more frustrating was that, between roughly 5:30 and 7:30, nearly every table around us also sat without food. It was obvious the entire restaurant was struggling. Despite that, no manager ever came by to apologize, acknowledge the delays, or attempt to accommodate guests in any way. Nothing was comped, addressed, or even sincerely acknowledged. To give credit where it's due, the ambiance itself fit what you'd expect from a standard upscale steakhouse which would be a nice atmosphere. But unfortunately, everything beyond the aesthetics failed to meet that same standard, and we left thoroughly disappointed. Given its location on Park Avenue, we expected a much higher level of hospitality and execution. This went beyond a rough night--it felt like a complete breakdown in service and restaurant management. I felt compelled to write this as a courtesy warning to others considering dining here on a special occasion or even on a standard evening. If I could give this place no stars I would. I went to Bovine Steakhouse for the first time, and honestly, I wouldn't go back. The appetizers were just okay, but nothing was hot or worth the high prices. My steak (a medium filet mignon) was bland, chewy, and came out cold with no flavor whatsoever. On top of that, nearly everyone at our table had issues with their orders -- from missing items to cocktails that tasted watered down. Service was just as disappointing. Our waiter, Scottie, took over 45 minutes to bring the check even after we asked multiple times. I requested a manager twice, and not once did anyone come to the table during our three-hour visit. I had ordered shrimp to pair with my steak, which was never brought to me. When I pointed it out, Scottie told me he'd bring me an "extra" shrimp -- but it wasn't extra, it was the one I never got. He had actually given it to the birthday guest at our table, then still charged her for it even though she didn't order or eat it. The restaurant might look big in the back, but the food, service, and management do not live up to hype. Ambiance was not worth it! Save your gas! We have one of the best dinners as a team at BoVine. Shoutout to Jennifer for finding this excellent restaurant. After our experience, I checked some reviews from Google and Yelp and was surprised at the number of negative reviews, as this did not happen during our visit. We had a choice of seating outside or in the back, and Jennifer and I wisely chose to sit in the back and had the whole area to ourselves. Where we sat was in the smaller dining room straight back from the bar - to the left of the main dining room. I also wanted to mention tha BoVine has four restrooms in the back towards to the right of the larger dining room. Tina was our server, and she spoiled us with her service. Even though she had other tables and duties, we were never neglected for a second. The Saratoga sparkling water was one of the best I've had outside of Italy, and the menu for a steakhouse is extremely well-rounded, with some delicious options of vegetarian dishes as well as sushi. We did order some apps/sides I ordered the forest mushrooms after confirming how they were prepared, and some of the other diners ordered French Onion soup, Crab Cakes, Edamame, and a Caesar Salad. The Caesar looked amazing, and had the dressing not had eggs as an ingredient, I would have taken a bite. To the staff- Do not change the recipe on my account !! The Forest Mushrooms were so soft and packed with the flavor of the olive oil and garlic - pan tossed - I could have eaten at least two more side dishes. For my main, I was conflicted between the Portabello Stack and the Mediterranean Salad - and finally decided on the Salad. I'll stop here and mention the pricing - We travel and dine out a lot, and the prices at BoVine are very reasonable - not sure what the other diners are getting and ordering - but if they truly believe that the pricing is not reasonable at BoVine, they have not been dining out very regularly. My boss ordered several sushi rolls. - I cannot attest to the types and variety, but he is our resident sushi expert. He loved every bite. The other diners had the Salmon and porkchop. Each was beautifully seasoned, and the plate presentation was 10/10 My Mediterranean Salad was delightful and plentiful. What was missing was some bread - So I asked Tina if some bread could be brought over. She explained yes, but it needed to be freshly baked. The bread came in hot like a Southwest pilot who wants to land early, and the butter. Oh Lord, churned in-house with a little of A-1 Steak Sauce. It was magnificent. I had to try just a smidge, and it lived up to the expectations. One of the fellow diners asked to speak to the manager. Tina explained that she was helping out in the kitchen and would be out shortly. Joanne, the manager came out, and I immediately recognized the look of " Oh no - what's wrong now "; however, that was far from what was going to happen. The diner went on to explain that we travel and dine out immensely and that all of our meals and our service were some of the best we had experienced. A look of relief poured over Joanne's face like bisque being poured over succulent pieces of lobster. To say she was not only thrilled with the positive feedback would be an understatement. BoVine Steakhouse is not good, but great. So great, that its been saved in our phones and Google Maps so that when we return to Orlando, we'll be sure to dine here again. Terrible food, atrocious service, and an un appealing atmosphere. Let's start off with the service as this was the worst of all. Even though the restaurant is almost always empty, staff are loudly cussing, talking poorly about the customers that are in the restaurant, and also making inappropriate jokes the whole time. For a place considered a high-end steakhouse in the city, this is as far from it as it can get. Also, don't expect to be checked on at all during your meal. Next, the atmosphere is terrible. It is way too dark in the restaurant to be able to see anything, the lights on the table are exceptionally dim. Last, the food is really bad and expensive for what you get. For a $21 shrimp cocktail, the dish came out with three shrimp, and the shrimp had an incredibly fishy smell as well as a rubbery texture. It tasted like something you might get from a grocery store. Next, the French onion soup was actually the best dish of the night, even though the top of the French onion soup was rock, solid with bread and cheese that had not fully melted. It was also way too salty and did not have much of an onion flavor. However, like I said, this was the best dish of the night. Lastly was the lobster roll. This restaurant barely uses any real lobster as a few pieces of lobster on top are quickly overshadowed find an imitation lobster that is throughout the rest of the sandwich. The lobster itself did not taste fresh, and there were pieces of the exoskeleton throughout the sandwich, which led to many times having to pick out those pieces as you are eating. The fries are also not even crispy, and the restaurant does not have any other dipping options besides ketchup. I have read some of the recent poor reviews of Bovine and I could not disagree more. First let's start with magical dining. Every year I say I am not going to participate because in most cases the restaurants treat you like second class. Bovine did not do that. Then the hostess, Aris (sp?) was so friendly, accommodating and kind. I felt immediately like I was in a high end establishment just with her demeanor. Then our server, Scottie, he was very chatty and funny. My husband and I really enjoyed him, the rest of our party not so much. He may have pushed his jokes with us a little but again we enjoyed it and felt like it was all in good fun. He also presented us with all the options. Both magical dining and the full menu. Being on a diet and having goals for myself I don't eat as much as I once did, that's my main attraction to magical dining- an opportunity to try something new without having to waste a lot of food. So my husband and I ordered a little from both menus. I thought the restaurant was gorgeous. Being of a certain age, the lighting could have been a little brighter- I did need my phone to read the menu. But it was romantic. Someone else commented they didn't care for the lack of music, I appreciated it - we were able to talk and really enjoy ourselves with our friends. My pictures do not do the food any justice but everything was very good and we will certainly be back. I enjoyed a very nice dinner at BoVine steakhouse tonight. The steak was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing, while the place was busy they allow sufficient space between tables to not disturb anyone. The service was excellent with the server offering wine selections as well as food pairing suggestions. We shared a delicious cheesecake because we couldn't eat much more after the steaks. I went with a large group for weekend brunch. The menu is extensive. They serve brunch and lunch items. Everyone in my group really enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent. They mixed up one of the items but quickly fixed that issue. I had the club sandwich which was delicious and had the best rye bread I've ever tried. I also had the French fries that were so perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only thing I wish is that they had some music playing because it was so quiet. Otherwise everything was great and I would go back. Parking can be difficult to find on Park Ave but we found a spot in one of the free parking lots around the corner. read more

Okay, so my second dining experience yesterday was at BoVine Steakhouse in Winter Park. I'd heard great things about them, so I was really excited to try them out. I will preface this review by saying I will try them again because I believe every restaurant deserves a second chance. I went with a group of people and we all decided to enjoy their Magical Dining menu. I do not expect much from a restaurant's Magical Dining menu anymore. I understand that inflation and other factors make it hard to provide quality meals at a lower price point. I view MD as great way to introduce myself to a restaurant I may not be aware of. I know I have several friends who have visited BoVine and had wonderful experiences, I unfortunately am not fully able to say the same. I'll start with the positives: * They have happy hour that you can enjoy from 4pm-6pm that is inclusive of appetizers and drink specials. * I love the brick decor within the restaurant and their intimately lit setting. * Staff was super helpful and friendly; especially given our party size. Gratuity was included but the servers were amazing which is why we tipped over the 18%. * Wine list was very reasonably priced for the atmosphere we were in. Here's some things I didn't necessarily enjoy: I had to ask for a new wine glass. It's hard to describe but, it tasted as if someone who had dealt with raw meat had handled my glass. I requested a different one from our server, poured another glass of wine and it was ok after that. I ordered the Caesar salad, Salmon, and Pecan pie from the MD menu. I was confused by my Caesar salad. The description listed crouton because the croutons were more like breadcrumb dust on the plate. The presentation was very nice though. I had to send back my salmon. I hated to be that girl. The salmon was fresh fish, and was cooked very well however; it tasted stale. The best way I can describe it is if someone leaves an item unsealed in the refrigerator and then they decide to cook it. My brussel sprouts were also super sweet. I am not going to hold that against the restaurant because it listed champagne agrodolce in the title but, it was a little bit sweeter than I expected it to be. One of my friends had the filet mignon, and it was not as tender as she would have liked it to be. She said it was okay. Given that my friend didn't fully recommend the steak, I got the pork chop. I can't tell you how it was because I was told it was going to take a long time to come out so, I got it to go. It then, came 10 minutes later so, I could have eaten it there since everyone was still waiting on their desserts but it's okay. Our desserts were pretty straight forward. Pecan Pie and bread pudding. Both were okay. I don't go to a steakhouse for dessert anyway. BoVine's gives classic steakhouse vibe and is a gem for their brunch which is served from 0830 to 1400. They said reservations were not necessary; however they filled up quickly for lunch on a Thursday. Our waiter Henry made sure our lunch was exceptionally timed, and the food was superb. I had the Fish Tacos with sea bass but they also have several other fish options. It was an exceptional and flavorful bite! My son enjoyed the Caesar Salad with a filet of salmon the size of a Volkswagen and he said their house made dressing was the best he ever had. Enjoy a Negroni from the bar. The service was very slow I ordered an appetizer forgot my appetizer. It was our first time going there for a birthday party was not busy for a Wednesday night. The ambiance remind me of like a wine bar almost feel to it. Would I go back I wouldn't make a special trip to go back but if I was in the area maybe since I want to try the appetizer that I never received. read more

Food was good but the service was AWFUL. No one at the hostess station for a good ten minutes. Then they tried to seat 4 of us outside at a table for 2. Ended up in the bowels of the restaurant or what the refer to as the main room (it echoed there). Granted it was a busy day but once we got our drinks our waiter must have gone on his lunch break. Apps did not appear until 55 minutes later and only arrived after we inquired about them. Apparently it took that long to shuck oysters. Waiter forgot what two of us ordered so entrees were delayed. I ordered a 6oz filet minion medium rare amazing perfect, I loved that the cook came out and asked me to cut down the middle to make sure it was just how I liked it and it was exactly how I want tender and juicy with every bite. My side was a a creamy spinach with crusted cheese came out right from the oven delicious. To top it off a well balanced Bordeaux. Desert yummy ricotta cheesecake with whipped cream and blackberries on the side. Our service young lady was exceptional smiling and pleasant and very informative. The one thing that I enjoyed at BoVine was the ambiance. I really liked the interior seating and decor, that's what drew me in. The service was slow, they didn't seem very busy, lots of open tables, yet we only saw our server once every 20-30 minutes. He was friendly, just slow service. The food is the reason for the 2 stars. Food took about 50 minutes to arrive. Very small portions for the price, specifically $16 for 5 small chips with a bit of salmon and vegetables on them. The roasted half duck was pretty good, but the rice and egg base that it came with tasted very strange, not sure what flavor they were going for but it was kind of sour and pungent. Then we ordered a medium 20oz steak, their Sunday special. Tons of fat in the slab, and very little seasoning. There seemed to be some salt and pepper on the edges but literally nothing else. It seemed alright at first, but the steak was unevenly cooked, once I got towards the middle, it was definitely not medium, closer to rare, the steak was bleeding. You're better off going to a cheaper more casual place longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. read more

I've been wanting to try this restaurant each time I walk down park avenue and this one Friday evening my friend and I decided to go for it ! We went for an early dinner during happy hour so mainly the bar area was filled with people and the dining room not as much yet. I was going to get a steak but the waitress recommended the "something special" which was a 6 oz filet with chive/butter mashed potato and a fried egg on top. Sounded intriguing to me and it was so delicious! Who would have thought a fried egg on a filet would have been so tasty but it was ! My friend really liked her crab cakes and sliders. Went on the best date here last night the ambiance is very romantic and private. Our server was super nice and loved to chat which I love ! The food was so good as it always is when I come here. I had the lobster bisque and the 6oz filet medium rare. He had the bacon slab and 22oz. ribeye medium rare. I've been here multiple times and it's always great. The servers always give me a good laugh. Also, my date said it was the best whisky sour he has ever had, which is his favorite drink! read more

They accept the reservation but they don't note the details of the reservation, Open Table. I made reservation for outside seating, and upon arrival, they took us to the back of the restaurant. as we were being rushed to our table, I asked my dinner guest if they had a preference to which they said no. Once seated, our server arrived, and was professional and very cordial. Unfortunately the attention to detail and follow up was not the best. I ordered the Mac & Cheese and was served the cauliflower and cheese. Once they were swapped out I wished I would have kept the cauliflower as it had more flavor. I had the filet which was quite tasty. I asked for no butter, but unfortunately that did not occur. My dinner mate had the strip and it was not top of the list. Holy hell, the food here is fantastic. I took a star off because the drink menu is limited and we ordered salads but they didn't come before the steak, so we had to cancel them. The Cows and Cabs event was going on during my first visit so the restaurant was empty except for the staff and one other table. Weirdly enough, the service was still really slow. Our waitress was nowhere to be found for a while and came back reaking of cigarette smoke. Otherwise, the food more than made up for the rest. The restaurnt is also decorated nicely with white tableclothes, birck walls, minimal art, and warm coppery tones throughout. read more

I know steakhouse is in the name but I was craving scallop risotto and sought this place out specifically because they had it on the menu and it did not disappoint!! It was so delicious--exactly what I was looking for. We live in the area but had never tried this place and I'm so glad we did. We sat outside on Park Avenue and the weather was perfect so the ambiance was excellent. They also had a great happy hour deal on the house wine that paired very well with the risotto. I tried a bite of my husband's trout stuffed with crab which was excellent as well. To top it all off, our server Jeremy was fantastic! He came around often, made great recommendations, and always made sure we had what we wanted and were enjoying everything. Will definitely be going back. read more

I'm coming from out of state and found ourselves with time in Winter Park for a tour. Robin was just opening the bar and was great at assisting us with breakfast. We ordered crab Benedict and ham n cheese blueberry waffles. Delicious and well presented. Impressed with the presentation and flavors. Robin gave us helpful tips of the town and was full of information. We sat outside on the front patio with an amazing 78 degree day and the setting was perfect for a peaceful day. If you come here everything is a la carte...were seated promptly and placed our drink order, a plus for me was Saratoga bottled water, so I was happy about that We placed our orders..Sole ordered Steak Tacos, Fries, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steak Tip Sandwich, Philly Sandwich, Bison Burger and Black Angus Burgers ..Food came out hot,which is a plus...Fried Green Tomatoes were served on Arugula I believe it was l, they were 3 little Tomato slices for 12.00...I have been toany high end Steakhouses and have never seen anything like that, was told an order was enough to share, not hardly...I ordered the Steak Tacos and they were delicious, the flavor of the meat was perfect, you got two...one person ordered the Philly which was dried out and my son ordered Bison Burger and the mixed up the Burgers and gave him someone else's and when asked the server he said they just put the jelly on the wrong plate that he asked for on the side, this was not accurate, he has the wrong food .manager came out and redid his order for him and they left the other Burger for him which he ate some of since he was hungry. When you go to the back of the Restaurant it is very nicely set up for dinner with the white linens...you would not know that if you came for lunch with the brown tables that are scratched up looking with no linens...Capitol Grille serves lunch and has the linens on the tables, you should try this as well...would we come again?
