The location and ambience are nice. The bar is located on the beach and right in the town square area. It had a super fun and airy vibe, not too kitschy, just somewhere that you want to hang and chill The food was all amazing and blew my expectation out of the water. The fish basket was my favorite dish of the night. It was well breaded and lightly friend and hit the spot, and the fried shrimp was a close second. Another great factor was how reasonably priced everything was and how I felt like I was getting my moneys worth. 10/10 experience

I was suspicious of the bill because the charge slip was different from the first time we visited, and I made a note to check later. So, watch out for that. Otherwise the food was pretty decent. The curry chicken and the crab stuffed mahi were particularly good. The key lime pie and crab mac and cheese were just meh.

The Longboard's creative cocktails, specifically the Swell Chaser and Paloma Brava, are perfectly crafted. The ceviche, Shrimp Tostones, and Isla Verde poke bowl are fresh, bright, and delicious. We've never been disappointed -- the food is always on point, and the service is always welcoming. Even though the restaurant isn't right on the beach, it absolutely has the vibe. While you wait, enjoy a Painkiller. This is another specialty that can now be bought by the gallon and brought home. The location is right off of the main road, but you wouldn't necessarily notice except when a truck drives by. His friendly dogs will keep you company and are always protecting you from local wildlife. Coco Jim's is a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting St. John. We plan one more visit before our vacation has ended.
