Very nice welcoming employees. the food was incredible. will definitely be back as i am nearing taking my scuba courses with eco dive center right near by!

The two ladies here are incredibly sweet and welcoming! I popped in for a to-go order while they were busy, but they were also happily cheering on a soccer game. I know absolutely nothing about the sport, but one of them got so excited about a goal that she passionately explained the game to me. Her energy was so infectious that I think I'm officially a soccer fan now! I will definitely be back, even if it's just for the wonderful, welcoming vibes.

Nice to see they still celebrate Christmas :)

Hole in the wall open on Christmas. I forget Thai is open not just Chinese. They got the tree tho. I'll take this over Starbucks closing on Xmas with no Xmas music. They have the classics playing. And even Christmas mass on TV. Reasonable prices I just got wonton soup for myself. Come to think I think I got wonton soup last year on Christmas. Not here tho. Hmm. It's cuz it's cheap that's why.

Food and service were so excellent. It's nice to still see mom and pop places give good quality food and portions for affordable prices. The ambiance is very small and quaint but it is a perfect intimate date spot or perfect to order food to go!

When a Meal Becomes a Reminder Food: (4 out of 5) Service/Experience: (2 out of 5) Overall: (3 out of 5) I visited Taste Kitchen Thai Food Restaurant in West L.A. on Sepulveda because I had a serious craving for Thai shrimp fried rice. The restaurant is takeout only -- which was fine, because I planned to eat in my car. The food came out fast, the portion was generous, and the shrimp fried rice was solid. What stuck with me wasn't the food. It was the way something simple -- asking for an extra chili sauce packet -- turned into a whole situation. I asked for one packet and it already felt like I was pushing it. I asked for a second -- because of the size of the portion -- and the woman froze, like I had crossed some invisible line. Had I been white, I doubt it would've even been a question. Two packets would've been handed over without hesitation. And if I had been sharing the meal? One packet wouldn't have been enough for two people -- barely enough for one. They smiled and told me to enjoy my meal, but by then, the moment had already happened. Eating in my car wasn't the issue. Trying to eat with a flimsy, tiny fork that couldn't even hold the food was. For the kind of portions they serve, better utensils aren't optional -- they're basic. Being a Black customer means these aren't isolated incidents. They are constant reminders: even the smallest ask gets weighed differently. The food was good. The message behind it was louder.

This is how it looks like inside.

One of my favorite Thai dishes, Khao Soi. Not every restaurant has it on their menu, but they do. It was delicious! I went around 2:30pm on a Wednesday. There were a lot of people getting take out orders. Please note there are only three tables.

Pad see ew with beef, was amazing. And yellow curry with chicken.

Wanted to try a new local Thai joint with my dad and this place did not disappoint. We have high expectations when it comes to asian food and love our hole in the wall places, and this has to be a new one for the list. I was able to make a reservation for Wednesday night which was nice as the restaurant was only like five tables and surprisingly got busy for a late mid week dinner. We shared the pad see ew, pad Thai, yellow curry and Thai tea and Thai iced coffee. We genuinely enjoyed everything. The drinks had the perfect flavor and were super creamy. The pad see ew was by far my favorite. The sweet noodles with the beef and veggies were perfectly cooked and I'm so glad I had leftovers. The yellow curry was my second favorite, we got it with chicken and rice. The only thing is I wish we had bowls for it as the curry is incredibly thin and it's hard to eat off a plate. The pad Thai was beautiful and had great flavor. We got the combination of seafood and meats, it was good and had tons of flavor. The food came out relatively quick and it was all so fresh. The flavors were spot on. The waitress was super sweet and packaged up our leftovers for the both of us. She gave us our time and didn't rush us out, we actually had to ask for the check because she really just wanted to let us enjoy our meal. It's a really cute hole in the wall/mom and pop shop which are my favorite businesses to support. You can tell this is authentic Thai food, some of the best I've had.

Found this place on Yelp and now I'm a fan. Met my friend here and it was our first time. Delicious and authentic food. Great service and attentive staff. It's a little place that is large on flavor. We both enjoyed the food that we ordered. From starting with the Crispy Cream Cheese wonton, to the Drunken Noodle and Pineapple Fried Rice the presentation and portions. Looking forward to eating here again and thanks to ladies or letting my friend and I catch up for over 2 hours. The Thai Iced Tea was so refreshing.

Good food , good service, nice attitude, staying late. It was my first , but definitely not the last time. Give them a try.

While watching Sunday Night Football I was in the mood for some spicy Thai food. I had never tried The Taste kitchen, so I gave it a try and was not disappointed. I ordered the Chef's Special Khao Soi with Chicken. My spice level was Spicy as Thai spicy is extremely Spicy. The spice level was perfect and the portion was generous. This dish was very flavorful and also came with hard noodles that I'd didn't eat. Overall I was impressed with this dish and would order from them again.

Had the Mom Please Breakfast, Syrnyky with Berry Sauce, and Napoleon Cake. Absolutely outstanding and would easily recommend all three. The portions are fine, not American super obesity sized, more like normal human sized. The atmosphere is awesome. The restaurant is clean. The bathroom is clean. The dessert case is beautiful. The outdoor seating is great. The place is super charming and your girlfriend will love you for taking her. There's a constant flow of beautiful people. Amazing place to enjoy food, watch beautiful people, and stare at other people's cute dogs. The service is where it falters from a full 5 star restaurant. They are not rude at all. They're actually very nice. They're just overwhelmed. There's basically one guy with an occasional 2nd that are the order taker, server, busser, barista servicing the whole place. You're going to get a lot of "please wait a few minutes", they're going to forget your drinks, it's going to take 15 minutes to get a dessert from the case. Go for the great food. Go for the beautiful atmosphere. But go when you're not busy cuz they'll probably forget your order and you'll have to chase down that very busy server.

It was immediately clear that the owners and chefs here are driven by a genuine philosophy, not just profit. You can feel the care and thought put into every single dish. Everything was impeccable--from the freshness of the ingredients and the flavor balance to the thoughtful details, like the choice of glassware and coffee cups. It's rare to see that level of care throughout the entire experience. I also ordered the pizza without high expectations, but it turned out to be better than many specialized pizza shops. It was truly outstanding. The two young staff members at the front were incredibly kind and welcoming as well. The only minor downside is the parking--it might be a bit tricky for first-timers, and the lot is somewhat tight. But honestly, that's just part of life here in L.A. As a big supporter of local businesses, I want to say that the food and service are so exceptional that the parking situation becomes a non-issue. It really is that good. My wife enjoyed it so much that she's already planning our next visit to try their breakfast menu. I sincerely hope this business continues to grow and thrive. A huge thank you to everyone at Mom, Please Ukrainian Food. Highly recommended!

Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point. Parking - love love that are a few parking spaces right out front. They're metered. But after 8pm it was free so perfect for us. Other than those spaces, there's a lot across the street if you want to risk it or also side streets parking too.
