Pad Thai Shrimp
Nicole M.

I only gave this place 3 stars because the service sucked. I had to ask for everything and the server took forever bringing it even tho there were only 3 tables occupied. If I have to wait forever on a slow day, I'm scared of what it's like on a busy day. It's a cool little restaurant tho with open indoor-outdoor type seating. The food was delicious. The tea was great as well. Would I try this place again? Maybe, but I will try another spot first.

Tom Ka (Hot Pot)

Wow! What an amazing experience! Every dish had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and aromatic flavors. The Tom Ka soup was unforgettable. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the atmosphere was bright and relaxing. If you're looking for real Thai food made with love -- this is the place.

I used to love coming here on my 30-minute breaks when I worked in the area. The food is always hot and comes out fast, perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. I'm usually a bartop seat kind of person, and while they don't have a bar, the seating overlooking the Venice canals more than makes up for it. The setup is half indoors, half outdoors, with plenty of heaters to keep things cozy. Service is always friendly, and I think this is one of the better dining options on the block.

Pad Thai with beef (peanuts removed, no bean sprouts, add broccoli)
Kaila P.

Food was good overall, however, the beef that comes with the pub Thai was almost impossible to chew and very grizzly. Once I set that aside, it made everything more delicious last of a drain on my jaw. The mango sticky rice was done well, and the angel chicken Was interesting and fun. Perfectly crispy, and mostly flavorful. I could've used a little bit more " salty" flavor, but having it with the sauce plus a little of the red hot sauce helped immensely. Chill ambiance and the service was great, however, I felt a little bit like I was being pushed out 10 minutes before they closed at 9:30. Still yummy fs!

Incredible Thai food! Don't believe the bad reviews! Amazing service and authentic flavors

Chicken Satay

We were wandering around our neighborhood and came across Siamese Garden on Washington Boulevard. Since it's in such a touristy area, I didn't have high expectations, but honestly, I was really pleasantly surprised. The service was super attentive and kind, and the food was really good. The chicken satay was juicy, the peanut sauce was spot on, and pickled chili condiments were great (don't forget to ask for them). The spicy beef salad had a nice grilled flavor. Not too spicy thought. One downside: they don't have a full liquor license, so it's just beer and wine. I tried their Thai cocktail, and as expected, it was overly sweet and tasted like a premixed drink. I actually ended up running to get a little bottle of Bacardi from the corner store, added it to the drink with some lime, and then it finally worked. So yeah, I'd stick with beer there. But honestly, the food and service totally make up for it. I'll definitely go back if I'm walking by.

The food is probably "decent" for the area, but Siamese Garden is still the worst Thai food I've had in my life. Go over to Cerritos if you want more authentic tasting Thai food. Would definitely not return or advise a visit.

Tom Yum - Large
Harmony L.

My friend brought me here for lunch and it was surprisingly quiet! The restaurant has so much outdoor seating! We got the Tom Yum soup with a side of tofu and shrimp, Pad Thai (vegan way), and 2 Thai Iced Teas, mine was with 1/2 the sweetness. I was shocked at "1/2" sweetness, I couldn't imagine what the full sweetness would taste like!! Next time, I may ask for 1/4th! But I know it is meant to be sweet. I normally don't love Pad Thai but I LOVED theirs. It wasn't as tangy as other places I've tried and that's why I loved it so much. We got it with the soft tofu and it was so delicious. The Tom Yum was delicious! We mean to get the Tom Kha but not mad we got the latter instead - we had it with a side of fried tofu and side of shrimp and jasmine rice. The server was very friendly and attentive. We sat on the street side so sometimes it was harder to get his attention (rightfully so). Our dishes came out extremely quick! Will definitely be back again.

Pad See Ew

Very good option for Thai food in Venice! Great location on Washington Blvd, right near the end of the Venice Canals. Parking options along Washington and on the various side streets. Food - tried a few noodle dishes (pad see ew, pad thai), as well as some curry and the cashew stir fry. Everything was delicious! No complaints at all on the quality of the food, especially loved the curry. Service - no major complaints, but service definitely was a bit slow despite not being there at a very busy time of day. Food did take a little bit of time to come out to us. Ambiance - really peaceful, relaxing ambiance with a garden vibe and patio seating! Great for a dinner with friends or date night.

Impeccable service with a beachy atmosphere that really did kind of make me feel as if I was in a southeast Asian beachside restaurant. Nothing to critique about the food. It was genuinely delicious. Some of the best thom kha soup we've had. Why? The coconut flavor was pronounced making the soup taste creamier than typical. Give me the cream baby! The pumpkin curry is worthy of a shout out. Flavor that made my tummy jump for joy. Tip: Get their purpose rice with the curry! Paired perfectly.

Eggplant - Good

This is my favorite Thai restaurant on the west side but not in Los Angeles. I usually order to go, but it's nice when I go there being on the Venice canals. I just wish they get rid of that bird (if it's still there) that they keep in a cage. The curries are all good as is their pad see ew. I'm really surprised this place isn't rated higher as the prices are fair and food is good for Santa Monica / Venice Thai.

A small restaurant but a great quiet place to get some Thai food.

I'd only dined outside during the pandemic, and the inside was being renovated back then, too. Happy to see that the renovations are done, and we were seated promptly. I'd had Ayara Thai either dining outdoors or take-out, and while the food is still good, I found the ambiance inside added even more quality to the dishes. In other words, they tasted better when eaten in-house, more fresh and flavorful than I'd ever had. Really enjoyed the khao soi, which was flavorful and had just a hint of spice for an enjoyable experience. The chicken satay was so tender and beautifully-charred, probably one of the best satays I've had. Mango sticky rice in the end was delicious, with the smoothest, ripest mangos I've had in a long time-- they were so smooth, it was almost buttery! The egg rolls were just-okay, though, and I would probably skip these next time. Overall, probably one of the best Thai spots on the Westside. I'm glad I returned to have it again after several years, and to try it inside the restaurant. Excellent flavors all-around!

The restaurant itself was modern, clean, and the service was friendly. The only issue is the parking lot, which is extremely tight. Finding a spot even for a quick takeout pickup can be a challenge.
