First time dining here, left impressed and happy. Parking in this area is tough and limited. You're lucky if you manage to find street parking. They offer a variety of coffees, milk teas, and other beverages. We sat outside on the patio. The seating area on the patio is also small and limited. In a span of two hours on a Sunday evening, I watched several to-go orders leave the kitchen. My friend ordered the veggie rolls, I didn't try them. I had the moo ping (Thai street food pork skewers ) and those were fantastic! You can almost have this as a meal. I didn't finish all the rice but would have been full if I had. I also got the pad kee mow chicken. I asked for this to be mildy spiced. My meal was brought to the table just minutes after I ordered. The portion on the pad kee mow is abundant. Everything was well seasoned, flavorful and authentic. The price point is fair, too. I'd love to return and try some soups on a future visit. read more

This is such a cute little Thai café that was a short walking distance from the event we were attending at the Glorya Kaufman performing arts center. It is charming and small with both indoor and outdoor seating. This whole corridor is so charming and neighborhood friendly. The café itself was bright, chic, and cozy. We ordered the veggie rolls and the royal shrimp as our appetizers. They have a pretty extensive drink menu for a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the lychee milk tea and my friend ordered the house Thai iced tea. I got the Creamy Tom Kha Chicken Noodle soup with a side of brown rice, my friend ordered the Yellow Curry, and my other friend ordered the Soft Shell Crab Curry. Everything tasted really good. Nothing was too spicy, especially my dish -which I asked to be medium spicy- and my friend who can't do spicy foods was able to eat it too. The pricing was commensurate with the quality, locale, and atmosphere. I'm knocking off one star because it took a long time for someone to take our orders. I think they were waiting until our entire table was seated, but they could have at least taken our drink and appetizer orders while we waited for our third person to join us. My friend and I have been trying to find new Thai places around school and we're so glad to have discovered this place! We came during lunch time on a weekend, and it was easy seating. Parking was fine, as there is a neighborhood nearby so street parking was not too bad. We ordered the pad thai, thai iced tea, and kao moo tod (fried pork). Pad thai was yum, and the thai iced tea wasn't too sweet. Neither of us have had the kao moo tod before, but we really liked how crispy and not dry the pork was! Great addition was the soup. Tom Kha Soup (Large) - delicious creamy coconut soup with mushrooms and chicken. Plenty for 4 people to share. Sweet Basil Eggplant - perfectly stir-fried eggplant with tender beef slices. Soft Shell Crab Curry - creamy yellow curry that matches perfectly with the Crab Fried Rice we had ordered. Just enough spiciness and can't go wrong with the crispy soft shell crab. Crab Fried Rice - lightly seasoned fried rice with plenty of real crab meat mixed with fried eggs. Even better with the soft shell curry! Plenty for 4 people to share. Pad Kee Mow - delicious stir-fried flat rice noodle with vegetables. Simple and causal interior, with both outdoor and indoor seating. Parking can be an issue as there is a farmer's market on the weekend (we are there on Sunday). So you will to look for street parking. Good overall service as well. This is my favorite Thai place!! I either visit the actual restaurant or I order delivery via DoorDash whenever I'm craving Thai food. I recommend the following: Pad Thai: I get chicken and mild option, but select medium if you want more spice Veggie rolls: you can never go wrong with these! They come with a house-made sweet and sour sauce and it's very tasty! Sweet and sour with Chicken: my favorite part is that it comes with pineapple pieces! If you dine in, service is very fast. There's about five indoor dining tables and a few tables outside, too. My only complain is via DoorDash. I ordered Sticky Rice because the description said that it came with mango and coconut cream; sadly, it was only sticky rice. Please fix this issue. I already reported it to DoorDash too. read more

This is one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Food here is consistent and service is awesome. Not sure if they know me by know for how often we come, but whenever we're craving Thai food, this is where we ordered from. Love thier Tom Yum Soup and the yellow curry. Honestly,we've tried about half the menu by now and its all good. Usually go with Medium Spicy. Small, clean, cute, and tasty. There are a lot of Thai places in West LA. Good Day combines traditional flavors (Pad Thai, Tom Kha, and a variety of curries) with a few unique items such as their Man Kha Kai (dark chicken meat with ginger rice - their version of the popular Hainan Chocken Rice). Service is superb! Fast and efficient and friendly. Though some of the staff were not very proficient in English, they make it up by being nice, polite, and responsive. What a gem! We went for the first time last night because the place next door had a long wait, and we had our toddler with us. It was our first time but certainly won't be our last. The interior space is small but very pleasant. Our table was in the corner and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. They did a lot of to go orders while we were there - looking forward to trying that! We ordered a ton of food and scarfed it all. We started with an order of the roti curry (mild) for the kiddo to snack on while we looked at the menu. The roti was crispy but still fluffy, and the curry dipping was incredible. Not spicy at all,l but still very flavorful, so the little ate every bite. The pad kee mow with beef, medium, was perfect. Noodles were just right and the heat was spot on. Loved the light char on the beef. The yellow curry with chicken and tofu, medium, was SO FLAVORFUL. A touch above my usual spice tolerance, but it was so good that I couldn't stop eating it anyway. The garlic mushroom chicken, mild, was incredible as well. We went lower on the spice in the hope that our toddler would eat it, and he ate nearly an adult portion! We finished what he didn't and absolutely will order this again. All in all, absolutely amazing little neighborhood gem and we can't wait to come back. read more

Early dinner here with some friends. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow with Veggies (Thai Spicy) and Hazelnut milk tea, with Roti Curry for the table. The milk tea was a nice complement to the meal although it was a bit sweet and not enough hazelnut for my personal taste. The Pad Kee Mow was overall very solid. The flavor profile was on point, the noodles were not soggy, and they did not skimp on the veggies. My only recommendation would be (for people who like spicy) to go for a medium or spicy level and ask for chili sauce on the side. The Thai Spicy was spicy but I think the flavor of the spice sort of masked the flavor of the meal whereas getting the spicy kick from chili sauce may have been preferred. Still enjoyed the dish though. Finally, the roti curry was BOMB: I loved the coconut curry dipping sauce and the roti was perfect (not super greasy and sufficiently soft). Overall I really enjoyed my meal! The staff were really nice too. Pricing competitive with other Thai restaurants and portion sizes really good (kept me full for several hours). read more

I come here for one thing, and one thing only and that is the Panang Beef Curry Stew. I have not found anything like it at other Thai restaurants. The beef is tender and high quality, and there are some vegetables like cabbage in there as well. I usually order this "Thai spicy" which is not too hot for my spice tolerance at this location. Last time, I ordered it "spicy" so my dad could have some. I always get freshly chopped Thai chilies on the side so that I can add some if it is not spicy enough for me.
