Wow, hidden gem! Extremely delicious food, very well priced and every customer I talked to had been coming in for decades. So happy I found this. If you are in Culver's looking for delicious food hit Emerald Thai up.

It was cold and raining and we were walking back to our car to get dinner elsewhere, we stumbled upon Emerald Thai Cuisine and I am SO happy that we did! It's cozy inside and our waiter was so kind and friendly. We ordered the pad see ew, yellow chicken curry, orange chicken and mango sticky rice. ALL we delicious and came out quickly. I especially loved my Thai iced tea. My husband got the Thai iced coffee and I'll be back for some on my sleepy days when I need an extra boost of energy! I really liked this spot, and I will definitely be bringing my family back again and again. Also! Upon getting home and looking over the receipt, we saw that we were accidentally overcharged and they were able to quickly refund us which was really nice. I appreciate that level of customer service.

My family has been coming here since I was in a stroller. My mom is Thai and since it's walking distance my mom would stop by for lunch/dinner and bring my sibling and I in the stroller to eat. Now 20 something years later my family and I still come here. Our absolute favorite is Khao Man Gai and Rad Na or Lad Na. I no longer live in town but whenever I come into town I stop by at least 2-3. Don't forget to get Thai Iced Tea. The only downside is that ever since the city put in the bike path, they took away the parking but you can still find parking close by. In n out is across the street to the right so just keep that in mind. Other than that all the food is amazing and the service is excellent as well. You won't be disappointed.

This is supposed to be Mongolian Beef Entree. Bell pepper over powers all flavor. Meet is very chewy and not tender. No Mongolian flavor.

Ordered 5 menu items and was very disappointed in half of my meal. My spicy beef salad was very sweet. No lettuce added at all. My Mongolian beef was very chewy. No Mongolian flavor. EXCESSIVE bell pepper flavor. The garlic rice with steamed chicken had NO garlic flavor, chicken was VERY bland. They mixed in burnt pieces of garlic which caused it to be very bitter. Tom Yum soup was good but it was extra for mixed seafood and only came with 1 shrimp. I did not enjoy my food at all. Very disappointed

Love it! Very competitively priced entrees at around $13.00 and the menu was pretty big. The front is very unassuming and I've probably walked by it one hundred times without ever visiting (but thinking I should at a later date). I finally decided to shun the In n Out next door and give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. I got the pad see ew with pork and it was stellar. Next time, the mango sticky rice!

Went here for the first time tonight with four of my friends (a couple of them recommended it) and we were all blown away!!! Ate here for the $12 lunch special. The food was super good and the service was great. You get so much food for the price, and it comes out quickly. We also tried the mango sticky rice and it was delicious. Highly recommended supporting this small local place. Owner is very nice too. read more

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants ever. My husband and I used to walk there from our apartment as newlyweds, and now 35 years later we retired as new grandparents. We were surprised to see the same owner and he's still serving up the most delicious dishes ever! Pad Thai with shrimp, green curry with tofu and their signature Emerald Chicken...what a treat! read more

I hadn't had mee krob in a long time and saw that this place offered it. I ordered delivery which also included tom kha kai soup and pad woon sen. The soup was good with very tender pieces of chicken. The pad woon sen was kind of plain compared to other versions I've had. The Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee were both great and cheaper than most Thai restaurants charge. read more

Casual mom-and-pop, old-school Asian diner atmosphere and good food at very affordable prices. This place is well worth a return or several. Service was maybe a little slow to make the rounds with only one staff member in the restaurant on the night of a holiday, but at the same time relaxed and not rushed, so we were happy overall. That being said, food came out promptly upon being ordered. I'm admittedly a tough diner to deal with because of my medical allergies to MSG and gluten, but this restaurant was more than willing to accommodate. Pad thai was flavorful without being super-oily as can be at similar restaurants. My fellow diners were delighted with their dishes as well. read more

My pineapple fried rice was just okay. There were several bits of eggshell in my food which was disappointing. The order took 45 minutes, even though they said it would only take 15. I think because the prices were low and the portions were large enough a 3 star rating seems fair. Everyone else said their food was fine, I think I just got unlucky. read more

This place does not look like much from the outside, but you are about to have great Thai food with the sweetest service. This place is great. It is not usually crowded so just go there. They have inside and outside dinning and it is all so great. They have the best Chicken Cashew Nut, Emerald Spicy BBQ Chicken, Chili Chicken, Chicken Garlic and if it has shrimp get it. We love their shrimp salad. And all of their appetizers are great. We love their crab filled puff pastries, and their vegetarian egg rolls are so good. Their prices are reasonable and the service is great and fast, but you are never rushed. Parking is on the street, so mind the signs. Ask your server any questions you have, they know exactly what is in every dish. This is a hidden gem. Go there. read more

Went for the lunch special and it was awesome!! Only 12$. I got the spicy/sour soup which was amazing. Fried rice was a perfect accompaniment to the red curry. Egg roll was crispy fresh and tasty and the side salad was so simple but delicious - very fresh veggies. I'll be back!! read more

A nice little restaurant on my way home from work. A fairly easy carry out order of chicken pad Thai and Thai tea. Both were ready on my arrival. The pad Thai was good, the Thai tea could have been a little stronger. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes. read more

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting outside outside waiting for my food. Terrible customer service! Wouldn't let me redeem their Yelp offer because they don't have "dine in" due to covid. Yet he allowiled us to eat outside. Which is still me eating in isn't it?!? My bill was $60 and they still wouldn't give me one little drink. All the tables out front were dirty and not wiped down. The food wasn't even good. Next to no taste on anything. Both their sampler plates were full of fried foods. We didn't like anything we ordered. OK in a pinch, but there is much better Thai around. The Yellow Curry is a favorite of mine and I felt the taste was a bit bland. The eggrolls were a bit too mushy inside (the breading) and they were unnecessarily oily. My husband liked the Pad Thai well enough but didn't love it. I haven't been to emerald in years but when I lived in west LA this was a place that was introduced to me and I fell in love! My fave things to get are the Angel wings OH EM GEE and the customer service is always great! Thai food is one of my favorites and emerald was some of the first I had ever tried! Love this place! Called and ordered pickup from Emerald Thai. It's next to the very popular In-N-Out, right across the side street. Have to do street parking on Venice Blvd or residential parking on the side streets. The place looked closed when I came in because of it's dark interior, but the person who got my ordered ready was friendly. The pad thai, was good. It had a stronger taste of peanuts than most I've tried, which I thought was good. Noodles had a very nice chewy texture. I don't like shrimp, but from friend, I heard they really liked it. Pad see ew was solid. The beef was tougher and tastier than others, and the noodles were standard. The fried rice standard, could have used more salt. Overall 6/10, alright spot, but nothing that makes it stand out for me. read more

We came here on a Sunday night and ordered online. The food was ready in about 15 minutes, which is roughly the same amount of time it took us to find a parking spot. The location is on Venice Blvd. and there are a few street metered spots but otherwise the residential area near it and the close proximity to downtown Culver City make parking difficult. That said, I would highly recommend this place. The prices are good and the food even better. We got the pad thai and tom yum soup. The size of the soup was huge! There were a lot of shrimp too and it reheated well the next day. The pad thai portion was good and the ratio of chicken to noodles was perfect. I don't like it when there are too many veggies and peanuts and this place did not overdo it for me. There is a small outdoor patio and a few tables inside. read more

Looked for a quick pick up for dinner and ordered beef pad Thai, Tom khar soup with chicken and the salted crab papaya salad. They did not let me use the Yelp check for a free Thai coffee in saying it was for dine in only. The pad Thai was just okay to me, a bit dry and not very much beef in it. The coconut soup is usually my favorite at Thai restaurants but this one did not hit the spot. It had a lot of mushrooms and chicken but the actual soup did not have the deep rich flavor that I was looking forward to. The papaya salad was probably my favorite out of the 3 dishes. Probably would not repeat. read more
