Had a fun time here with my coworkers. We booked a time pretty easily and arrived 10 mins before our scheduled time. Our game keeper escorted us inside and told us that she starts the time right on the dot. So it's important that you're there on time to watch a video before the game starts. I don't want to give too much away, but the one we did was Krampus themed. There was 10 of us and we all had fun solving the codes and puzzles together. There were quite a few jump scares but nothing crazy where you get touched. Creepy themed rooms and you would need to have 1 person in your party who can crawl or be down on your knees to solve some puzzles. Just FYI! It wasn't as big as I thought since we believed that it was an escape building. There were 4 rooms that you would need to go through to solve all of the puzzles. There is a help button if needed and the game master would be there to assist you. You have 1 hour to escape which was plenty enough time. We used the help button twice and escaped within 7 mins to spare! Will definitely come again and try out their other escape rooms! read more

A killer time! With easy online booking, excellent committed staff, plenty of jump scares, and flawless puzzles, this haunted hotel did not disappoint. From the moment our car hit the lot, we were greeted by a fierce corpse queen literally ready to slay. With one group at a time, we got the full spooky spotlight. We came, we screamed, we conquered! I have done quite a few escape rooms so I'm familiar with the idea of them. The escape room itself was well put together. It was definitely one of the harder ones I have done, yes fun. My main complaint was when we ran out of time, a timer went off and one of the employees told us our time was over. We asked if we were close to finishing and if she could show us what we still had to do to complete the room and she responded saying her next group was already here so we had to go. No picture at the end, no asking us how we liked it. The ending ruined the entire experience. We were having fun then it ended and we needed to leave. Would not recommend. They dont care about the customer experience and only care about how many people they can get in and out. read more

I took my friends even though I have played it twice before (haha) and we almost didn't escape I couldn't remember anything and it was so hilarious and scary The new butler is kinda creepy scary in a fun way I heard the are opening a chapter two! I've played all there games at both locations and they are all crazy good I wish they would sell match or at least a T-shirt at third gate Definitely in my top five list! read more

We loved this, SUCH a rad/well thought out escape room/experience and genuinely had scary moments which we were incredibly grateful for (especially after how much we disliked the IT escape room the night before). Wow, best escape room experience even though we didn't manage to escape. You really feel like you're in a scary movie and the puzzles are challenging. From the moment you step in, the experience begins. There's no check in lobby or anything. Even when signing the waivers and putting away your bags, it's under a creepy atmosphere. Not to mention if you have to use the bathroom, that's an experience as well. Part of the challenge for us was the dim lighting and scary atmosphere made us nervous to explore different parts of each room or go back to the previous room for clues since you really never know what scary thing you might find or touch next. We all went in very scared but became more "we have to solve this" after the first room. We had a great time and would definitely try their other rooms next time we're in vegas. This escape room was one of the most fun I had in a long time! It was basically a cross between an escape room and a haunted maze with your host a very active and key player in your experience! From the moment they let you into the front door, you are immersed in the experience. Ashley was probably one of the best horror escape room hosts I've had the pleasure I'd playing with. They even have a bonus clue/game if you choose to play. Highly recommend although I have to warn you... this is not for the faint of heart! read more

Very cool experience and the game master was really great. Very immersive and the puzzles were good. The downside was the air conditioner was broken and me and my team was drenched in sweat for an hour. Also, some of the technology had some kinks that stalled us a bit where the game masters had to intervene. If that didn't happen, it would've been perfection. I've when to there other location and it was great, but this one by far the best!! My sister was in town and never did one and Shana did not disappoint! I believe the girl working there was named Caitlyn and let me tell you, she was great! She was in character the entire time and we had a great time. Definitely one for the books. I recently went to the main location & escaped the Witch House room which was really fun ! So I decided to do third gate hotel. the escape room was so hard & had the same difficulty level as Witch House, but Third Gate was at least a 5/5 difficulty level in my experience?? The live actor wasn't attentive AT ALL (I think she might've been outside a majority of the time) My boyfriend was STUCK in a closet he wasn't supposed to be stuck in for 20 minutes after we asked for help getting him out several times. We also asked for hints & couldn't get the attention of the employee after asking & pressing the button numerous times. I would recommend number one escape rooms but not third gate. UPDATE: owner did reach out & helped fixed everything, thanks again for your help! read more

Such a fun experience, we have done another escape room at this one definitely topped that! The place is large and has tons of rooms with very intricate ways to get into them, we were engaged the entire time & mind boggled at some points. Loved having the butler! Would recommend! read more

Had some friends visiting from Boston they wanted to try the escape room experience together.this particular one was conveniently located next door to where I board my pets..let me tell you it didn't disappoint.. very spooky well put together great sound effects and visuals.the games were challenging and creative.we had a great time bonding together weren't rushed through the process like some escape rooms that overbook if we needed clues they were provided. the scheduling was easy they were able to get us in fairly quickly..thank you so much we had a blast at third gate.. read more

Totally original escape room! We are enthusiasts (probably 200 under our belts at this point). This room is nothing like anything we've done. Our maid(butler) Victoria was amazing!! This place felt so creepy, I jumped and screamed a few times (which is a bonus for me that it's that realistic). A fun thing which made us laugh was when we had to press the doorbell for help, the dogs at the pet store next store went nuts). Very well done! Came here for sin City classic tourney and a lot of us love Escape rooms. The room, ambience, puzzles, staff, experience was amazing and we can't wait to come back and try other rooms. My group had newbies as well as experts and everyone got to participate. My family went (ages 18-29) and we had such a blast! Maya was our butler and she was so sweet and spooky and amazing. One of the best escape rooms we've ever done. Fairly challenging, and a lot of our group jumped a good amount of times. We really had a good time and appreciated the intricacies of a lot of it. Very helpful hints when asked and there's even a fun little bonus game. You'll have a great time and I highly recommend it. We also completely the shed at their sister escape room, that was fun but not as good as this. I highly recommend it! I soloed this room on a rainy day (weird LV weather). My other friends had yet to arrive in town due to flight delays and the one that was present was ill. Maya (spelling may be incorrect), aka bellhop-game master extraordinaire, communicated through gestures, helping to move me forward if I got hung up while keeping me immersed in the haunted hotel atmosphere. When I finally made my escape, Maya celebrated, making the experience all the more memorable. This is a large-scale escape room experience - there is plenty of space to move around for larger groups. There are multiple unique puzzles I have yet to see elsewhere after completing over 40 other escape rooms. This is a room you will remember. I hope they produce another spooky room so I can return for another adventure! Huge thanks to Maya (and the entire production team) for an unforgettable experience. read more

We went to the Escape Game at Area15, as part of the lvl 3A experience pass. Having done most of the same rooms, at different locations, we opted for the Legend of the Yeti, which turned out to be mostly a re-themed (but also with new puzzles) "Goldrush". It was one of the more challenging rooms we've done (listed as an 8/10 difficulty), and while we typically don't need a lot of hints, we did use a lot here (completed as a party of 2). Having 1 or 2 more people in the group would help, but more than that would be too many, as the spaces are fairly small. I can't imagine doing it with 6-8, which it allows up to. We will always recommend "The Escape Game" as the experience is always fun / enjoyable.

My number one want for this particular location is flashlights! Please. The rooms are very dark so we couldn't see a few of the things we needed to find because they were dark and so was the room. This is the only one I've been to that doesn't provide a flashlight. I personally don't like using my phone. Depths - this room was really good but it's definitely the most straightforward game which would probably be very good for beginners because you can't move to step 2 without completing step 1. The rooms were also super cool looking. There is also a "game" within this game which I think was really extra fun. Ruins - I really liked this room, but, there is one puzzle where the pieces don't actually like up very well so it's insanely hard to figure out what goes where. Also. The last puzzle doesn't really work very well and some of the parts of it would be a little glitchy. When we were there the sound also didn't work on the tv so we didn't know when we were getting clues or anything. But the staff took care of us after the fact to make sure our next room will be fantastic. Timeliner (we did this in a different location) is one of my favorites. I really like the puzzles and the different themes included in this are really interesting. Prison break (also did at another location) - this was one of my favorites. The puzzles are challenging but really interesting and you start split into 2 rooms which I think is really fun and different. Heist (done at a different location) - another really good room. I will say the theming of this is way less involved than the other rooms but overall the puzzles are still very good. Gold rush (another location) - super fun. Very well themed and immersive room which are always my favorite. Getting to do more interactive puzzles is also really fun. Cosmic chaos - this unique because your clue guy talks to you and you talk to it. There is a part of this room though that ideally would want like 4 people for. It was insanely hard for 2 of us to do because we had to keep running back and forth to push buttons. Playground - this is easily another one of my favorites. I love the theming and I love the puzzles. They are very unique and have many different school based themes. There is also a checklist so you know when something is done correctly which is really helpful. Part of this are really challenging but in a good way. This is another one that would be ideal with more than 2 people. One of the last puzzles took forever for us to complete with only 2 people which definitely impacted our time.

However I want to state that I don't believe this was the attendant fault. I am writing this review so that hopefully the company changes their misleading advertisement, so the attendant doesn't have to deal with this again. We love escape rooms and have come to escapology many times in the past and have enjoyed all of their rooms except this one. The attendant's name is Amber. She was very professional, nice and helpful even when dealing with an unhappy customer. We will make sure to ask more about the room before booking if we return.

We found this place and called around 830pm. They were able to squeeze us in for a 10:30 pm appointment. I have never tried an escape room before so they popped my cherry on this experience. I was a bit timid coming in but everyone in the shop was extremely nice and had a good vibe. So it was easy to get comfortable. We came during happy hour which I believe helped our tab. For the three of us, it was $105 flat. After signing a waiver, and a quick presentation, we were given one hour to solve the puzzles and save our girl. It being my first time in an escape room, maybe I didn't realize how practical the answers to the hints are. My advice to anyone going on this experience is to think practical. The answers are right in front of you. We were not able to finish the puzzle. We barely got into the second room with ten minutes to spare out of the hour of time given to us. And the second room seemed to be a lot harder than the first room. But overall we loved our experience. Destiney was a delight and even gave me a parting gift as seen in the photos. Since i decided to celebrate part of my bachelor party there, they made sure to give me a gift which was a beautiful touch to my visit. First off everyone was friendly and we came at night and our game master nova was awesome and great going over the rules and I don't want to give away to much of this room with the live action but my friend and I really felt like we were actually captured and really trying to get away from one eyed Jack! We definitely jumped a few times and we made it through before time ran out! We can't wait to go back and hopefully get nova again!!! She's awesome and the young man playing one eyed Jack was awesome too

We were looking for an Escape Room, and I found this spot online. The website to make the…read morereservation was pretty straightforward. I just picked the type of game that we wanted to play and chose a time. We picked the Steampump Escape Room and it was $40 per person for 1 hour. A waiver needs to be signed ahead of time online. This spot was located inside the mall. We did have a little trouble finding it since it was sort of hidden downstairs. We arrived 15 minutes before our game to check in and the staff went through the directions and watched a short video before we went inside the room. The level of difficulty was 7/10. The two rooms were a bit small for the five of us. The employee was helpful when we used the walkie talkie for hints. There wasn't that much technology used, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would highly recommend it.
