Can we please have a serious conversation about how awesome this bar is? I've been to the DFW 3-4 times (I only count 2 times bc one time was a layover and the other was one night at an Airbnb. My old roommate moved to Austin from Chicago for a year bc quarter/mid life crisis and I had to move him back) I digress. This bar rips. Everything about it is 10/10. Team - legendary Food - slaps Drinks - omfg So I came here with my boy from work Grayson. I used to be his interim manager but as of 5:30pm Pacific, I am not. Therefore, we sesh. So we get here and Andrea, Leah, Tiana, Will, Will (manager), Mary, and everybody else was so welcoming and cool. Will (manager) played sick music and then a DJ ripped a shot with us. Prior to that, we were included in a team building activity which we executed so well. We assembled halloween decorations and the instructions were super confusing but we were able to figure it out together. Idk I'm still here but I think I will become a better person after visiting this bar. I will always come back here when I visit the DFW. I love it here fr. This is a true hidden gem at the Shops of Legacy East! Such a cute bar - inside and out! And a big shout-out to Sam, our server, who was absolutely awesome! We were sitting on the patio (which is dog-friendly), watching the Stars' playoff game, and she came out very frequently to see if we needed anything. She was so personable and cheerful! And the food was delicious, plus we loved the happy hour drink specials! It's a great place to view sporting events, play some pool, or just to come and hang out (especially on the nice, shaded patio). I will definitely be back! read more

Bottle Rockets Bar is a super cool sports bar located in The Shops at Legacy, on the corner of Legacy Dr and Bishop Rd. Bottle Rockets has two levels, with an upper deck area that extends outside over the patio area below. There was an arctic blast that was rolling through the area so there was no way anyone was going to eat outside this time. When the weather warms up, I'd definitely eat outside on the upper deck though! I think they had about a dozen beers on draft, canned beers, and of course a full bar. We initially decided to go with a couple buckets of beer, but turned out they may have ran out of canned beers for the buckets. In the end we had a couple of pitchers to go along with a few pizzas. The pizza are really good with a nice crispy crust. Bottle Rockets has a couple dart boards, a pool table, basketball game, and a couple stand up arcade games on the 1st level. The arcade games do take quarters, but don't worry, they have a change machine. Our server was super attentive and friendly, we never had to search for her, she did a great job. They have like a zillion TVs so you really can't complain about not being able to see what's on TV. Cool place, I'd go back again. read more

Someone knocked over my full beer on the table and when I went to explain that to staff the other female bartender asked the other male bartender and he told me "we don't give out free beer". Gentleman behind the bar was confrontational treating me poorly and had an attitude treaded me like some punk ass kid. I would've probably had 5 beers, but I tabbed out for 3 (one spilled). Great vibe at this place. Expected better on the service. I'd much prefer to go to ebb and flow or Gigi's now better prices and better food. read more

The service here is absolutely horrible. I'm not sure where they find these bartenders and bouncers, but it's ran like some high school party. They do not care about customer service. And if something goes wrong with their credit card machine, the games, or their vending machines, it's your fault... no money back. Super unprofessional place. Bottle Rockets Bar is a HUGE sports bar located off Legacy Drive. If you enjoy sports, you will love this bar, as they have huge tv's on every wall as well as arcade games. I can't speak on the pizza, but I did see a lot of people ordering it. The drinks were average, as the pours were too small in my opinion. Overall, it was a decent sports bar for the area. read more

Disappointed... I have been to this establishment a couple of times and will never come back after today's experience. I attempted to come today with 5 of my co- workers for happy hour and it was 3;58. It's cold out and 2 minutes early apparently . I was greeted by lady with green streaks in her hair and had the Worst attitude ever. She told us they didn't open till 4 and made us leave. Bars are struggling these days/ someone like this shouldn't be working at a bar. We walked across the street and gave our in business to another bar. Only thing good about this bar is the array of TVs. Drinks and service are sub par. This is the 3rd year in a row me and my buddies have visited during our pub crawl. It hasn't gotten any better.... Update. We just finished our drinks and got our bill. Example: $24 for a double shot of Tx bourbon. Unbelievable! When we asked about it, they said their doubles were 1 1/2 oz. Terrible location behind The Angelica, hard to find. 15 different bars have gone bust there. Front door was locked, had to enter through a side door. Had the wrong game on the big screen, Miami vs South Florida. Tennessee vs Oklahoma on one small screen. Really? Two top 25 teams playing each other vs a top 25 against nobody? When Sooners and Longhorns are in their first year in the SEC? For a billing as a sports bar, management clearly isn't paying attention. Server did not inquire about changing the game. We had a good time at BR. We sat upstairs, and the bartender and server were very nice. Sorry I didnt get their names. The draft beer system was broken, but the canned beers were very cold. The TV screens throughout were great, and we enjoyed the Dallas Stars game. We had wings and pizza, and the brisket queso. Everything was delicious, and served up quickly. Just moved here from out of town, and looked this business up before I got here because I live close have been there three times within the week and love it. A little annoyed, a couple times I was at the main bar as the bartenders at times seem to be more interested in their phones, then keeping their heads up seeing who needed a drink. Sat for quite a while, a few times with an empty glass. That being said, I still love the place and will be back often! I want to make that my sports bar all the time, but definitely need to have the SEC channel as Texas, Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. All are now in the SEC. Cool place lots of TVs, darts, pool and arcade games. Great place to watch a game for sure and listen to music. Service was good. Only reason for the three stars is the food and drinks. The wings had no flavor/sauce, the pizza was ok, the meatballs tasted frozen and the queso tasted like Velveetta cheese melted with frozen meatballs mixed in it. For the drinks they had little to no beers on drafts unfortunately, no local brews or IPAs. Bunch of cans but no special options. They were also limited on bourbon/liquor choices. They don't have menus so she brought us a QR code to scan for the menu. It's now been over 40 minutes and she never came back to take my order! Service is NONE-EXISTENT!!! This place has a lot of potential, but came up short. The set up is nice for football with all of the screens. There are some games (skee ball, space invaders, etc.) and another bar upstairs, so the place is spacious. We went upstairs to watch the games, but we were the first people up there so we had to ask for service. When we received service it was like the waitress was put off by the fact we weren't at the bar. The food was over priced and simply meh. The food didn't come out together for the group. Unfortunately, the smallest in our party got her chicken strips last. The waffle fries were inconsistent. Some of the group had cold/mushy fries, some had burnt/crispy. We ordered the chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich and the bun was triple the size of the small chicken breast. To top it off, they forgot to put bacon and avocado on the sandwich (if only it was in the name...). Potential to be great, but I would look elsewhere. read more

I've been to this bar twice before and I love how they have so many TVs to watch sports as well as pool tables upstairs. Me and some friends decided to come for the Cowboys game this past weekend. They check your IDs when you first walk in the bar was a little bit crowded so we decided to sit upstairs. We ordered a couple drinks at the bar since no one came to take our order, which which was not a big deal. however the bar told my boyfriend they couldn't make the drink he wanted at that bar so he had to go downstairs again not that big of a deal. When my boyfriend was down at the bar downstairs they stated we are supposed to be having servers at our tables upstairs however we had yet to see one. We didn't see any server serving any of the tables upstairs either. After about 30 minutes, our drinks were almost empty and the server finally came up to our table. I had never seen that service since we had been there the entire time. She came to take her order was very friendly and told us that they could make my boyfriend drink at this bar upstairs. We finally ordered food from her and got the Cajun fries. These fries were amazing. Overall every time I've been here the food is delicious however the service and the drinks are always lacking. I enjoy this place because the food is good and I love watching sports on the TVs however just know you're not gonna get the best service when you're here read more

I do know it is basically my decision to go there. Pool tables are good and the people that work there are nice but the prices are crazy. Seems like they're always different every week then this week on our tab they charge just for a marinara that they did not put on our sliders so we asked for a side of marinara they charge us for the garlic sauce that they didn't put on all the fries had to ask for more. Then for some reason I guess just seeing you want to order food is a three dollar charge. I would love to call someone and talk to somebody to understand this but no one's ever available to talk they can explain. So just go in there with an open mind and don't expect great service even if you pay well. So f anyone can explain i would love to understand. read more

I'm not the typical one to give a shout out. GOOD or BAD!!! But tonight we had a large group and we went to Bottle Rockets Bar in Plano. Been there many time no complaints. But tonight the upstairs was closed. Downstairs was packed. People walked in and turned around and walked out. We are talking Mavericks play offs and every thing in Dallas is packed!!! Finally at game time they opened the upstairs. They had 2 waitresses. One was new, the other Ally, a rockstar. Knocked it out of the ball park on both floors. The sad thing the manager who wasn't there all night shows up with a min left in the game and tells everybody upstairs close out and move downstairs. Piss poor management if you don't plan accordingly. I'm sitting there with food on my plate. What does he expect? For me to go downstairs and stand? Hold my plate while I eat? In this industry and a busy night like tonight, place was standing room, you bring the staff in and send them home if it's slow. Obviously we will find another venue on a big night. read more

We have been here a couple of times. The times that we do get service, the food is great and the atmosphere is fun espessially if you are here to watch a game. Great place to watch games or play games. They have several tvs, pool tables, arcade games, etc. Cool environment. However, nobody welcomes you when you walk in. It's a seat-yourself place but there isn't much seating on busy nights on the first or second floor. And it took an hour and a half to get wings. The staff wasn't super friendly at first but after the food issue, they became much nicer and comped the food. Over all would recommend because the food was really good too. read more

I went in this weekend to hangout with my favorite bartender and she was busy with the cowboys game and a private party but still made me feel so special!
