I've now eaten the entire menu at the Turtle having been here now about 15 times. It is a great place with a nice relaxing ambience. The food is great and the service is always good. Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of beers and spirits. The only small issue is that in all 15 times, they never refill my kids drinks or my own. Very good restaurant, at first the menu seems like there isn't much to this place but when you enter the restaurant the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as we were waiting for our order we were looking at the dishes coming out of the kitchen, everything looked delicious, we're eager to go back and try everything! read more

Came in for an evening meal at the bar. Friendly staff, solid food, and fine atmosphere. Nice spacious bar area with TVs. I had the pretzel burger since some reviews recommended this. Burger was tasty and the pretzel bun did add to the flavor nicely. A good stop in if you are in this area. read more

Food was slightly better than average. The wait staff couldn't be any more friendlier. They helped explain the menu and were very courteous. The drinks were also well done and the Malibu bay breezes were well made. However, the prices are a bit too high for both food and drink. I have been here a few times and the happy hours specials don't cut it. However, it's convenient so I am stuck with it for now. Slightly better than average bar food at a high price. Bar gets packed on a Friday after work but that is too be expected, but they should open the booths to those that just want to drink, since the restaurant holds plenty of people. read more

Couldn't have been happier. Food was excellent. It's a little on the pricey side but for the quality of food I'm happy to pay it. Real mashed potatos and fresh vegetables. Stopped by on a whim on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar watching the game. For a Saturday night they don't seem to attract a large boisterous crowd and there were plenty of seats. Had a beer and a burger for $17.60 (including tax)which wasn't bad and the burger and fries were enough to fill me up. Plenty of parking and the place is good sized so you probably won't have to wait long to be seated. read more

I went Saturday night with a friend. The place had a great atmosphere, the staff was pleasant and provided great service. The wait for a table a little after 7 pm was 45 minutes normally wouldn't be an issue cause we could just sit at the bar or near the bar and have a drink. However several bar seats were taken up by kids under 10....AT THE BAR is unacceptable. Let them wait in the waiting area do adults can sit and relax with a drink at the bar. Food was decent. One of our favorite local spots. We love the Irish nachos, simply delicious. My go to entree is the blackened chicken salad but I substitute the chicken for shrimp, it's my favorite dish. No to the thirsty turtle. There were three of us. One liked their dinner. One thought it was not good but ok, and one took one bite and could not eat it. I work nearby and go to the Thirsty Turtle once a week. The food is great, the staff is very nice and attentive. The cajun chicken sandwich and the shortrib tacos are my favorite. I also love that they've started with daily specials even including a survey to see how they can improve. My only complaint is that the "Perka" app, which is used in place of a traditional "punch card" (buy 6 get one free). The app is fairly buggy. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The food is always fabulous and although the service can sometimes be slow, it's worth the wait.

If you are traveling within the greater Morris County area please stop what you are doing immediately, get in your car and head directly here. This place is somewhat unassuming from the outside, but once you enter you will realize how much of an absolute Jerry it is! Great wings, pretzel burgers and pot stickers. This is a solid place for good food and drink with spacious seating and nice large bar area. The menu is diverse with lots of apps, like wings, spinach dip, buffalo wings and delicious French onion soup; burgers, pasta, salads and full entrees. I'm a fan of the turkey burger, served on a thin sliced wheat sandwich roll. They have a good assortment of kids meals, including pizza, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, among others, which is great for those little picky eaters. The meals also come with yogurt, grapes and a drink for a mere $6. Can't beat that. The service is always really attentive and friendly and there's been few times that we have had to wait for a table. I like that the bar area, which is huge, is kind of separate from the dining area, but there are still tables and bar tops. The bar is also a good place to catch the games. Prices are very reasonable, for drinks and food. It's a welcomed joint to the suburbs. read more
