    Multi-levek go-cart track
    Chris W.

This is the best go-cart track that I have ever driven. Not only is it a LONG track with many turns but it is a MULTI LEVEL track. They were not busy when we visited so line was very short. We just had to wait for current race in progress. It was not cheap, but you can purchase a single race, which is what we did. Other parks only sell day passes, which are even more expensive, especially if you don't want to stay all day. The inside of this establishment is filled with an arcade of games, mostly the kind where you win tickets that you can exchange for a prize. It is like a kid version of Vegas. We skipped the game room.

We have made two trips here because our claw machine loving boy got his fix in here! Lots of claw machines and they have other games as well (i.e skee ball, basketball). The little kid rides require 3ft and taller to ride. Go karts were really fun! We had a great time with the bumper water boats as well! Definitely recommend making a trip! Price wise you load a card and can spend it on any of the attractions. $55 is the basic starter price and the first time we did that to test it out and rode go karts 3x, played some games, and rode the carousel.

When my 15 year old daughter mentioned something about having never been go karting, I set to work researching one that looked safe and fun. We settled on The Track, and we're so glad we did! A quick rainstorm moved through the area just before we got there, and the tracks were closed as they were out drying the tracks with large blowers. It took them about 30 minutes to get them back up and running, and while it was a little inconvenient, it confirmed that we'd made the right choice in establishments. It also gave us time to figure out which package to choose...we ended up going with the 55 for $50 deal and I had a coupon for $10 off, which gave us 55 for $40. This gave us enough points for all of us to ride the big track, my daughter to ride again, and then she played several of the games inside for awhile longer, earning those coveted tickets and leaving with a few pieces of candy. It was a great afternoon of fun, and something she can mark of the list.

Took my son and nephew here while visiting in Myrtle Beach. Teenagers are a bit picky so I wasn't sure what to expect. So glad that they had a ball! The price was reasonable. It was $12 per five minute ride. The lines were long but they moved pretty fast. They loved it so much, we're going back tomorrow.

A good time can be had here, but it won't be on the cheap. The arcade is set up just like Chuck E. Cheese and it offers all of the same crappy prizes as well. The go-carts have regulators (of course) and like others have said, it's 10 bucks a ride. Rides DO NOT last long; maybe five minutes. If you plan on riding carts all day, bring a hefty, hefty wallet!!! This place will entertain you for sure, it's just going to set you back some serious loot, so be ready for that. Bathrooms were clean and there's plenty of parking in the back. Lower prices on go-cart rides or doubling or tripling the length of time in a cart and this place would get another star. Oh yeah, they also charge you 10 bucks per ride if you want to ride along with someone else that's driving. Ouch.

Family Fun at the Beach! We came for the go-kart fun, and that's precisely what we had... FUN! It's $10per ride, so we purchased a $10 game card which allowed us on the ride. The ride was about 5 minutes, and that was more than enough because it was so cold. But in warmer weather, this place is undoubtedly a family location to bring the kiddos. I would suggest having more game variety and more seating inside for those that are waiting on a family. My grandmother was with us, and there was no place inside for her to sit. She didn't play any of the games, and thankfully we found a chair for her. But it would have been helpful to have a designated area.

K1 Speed: Inaccurate Height Sign -- We Have the Photos to Prove It…read moreI'm not one to leave negative reviews, but what happened at K1 Speed warrants a warning for other families -- and we have photographic proof. K1 Speed's posted minimum height for Junior racing is 48". My son is exactly 48". We made the trip specifically because he qualifies. What we discovered on arrival is that K1 Speed's own height measurement sign is wrong by 2 inches. We brought a tape measure and documented it on the spot. In our photos, you can clearly see that the line labeled "48"" on their sign actually sits at the 50" mark on a standard tape measure. Their sign has been mounted or printed incorrectly -- meaning children who are a legitimate 48" are being turned away based on a miscalibrated sign. My son sat in the kart. He could reach the pedals. There was no functional or safety reason to exclude him. Yet staff still refused to let him race, citing the sign -- the very sign we had just proven was inaccurate. We showed staff the photos. No resolution. No apology. No willingness to escalate or problem-solve. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately unable to help. K1 Speed, this is not a minor mix-up. Families are planning trips around your stated requirements, and your measurement tool is provably wrong. Fix the sign, and train your staff to handle situations where your own equipment is at fault. Photos attached. The tape measure doesn't lie. #k1speed PS we were able to go to another place that had an accurate 48" measurement and all was all good.

To my surprise and delight this place showed up and I drove over there as soon as it opened. Please don't judge the idea/activity of indoor karting based on this place. I don't know exactly what to call this facility, but it is an odd one-off karting business for sure. When I read that the karts had 33 horsepower electric engines I got excited. The karts are made out of what looks like aluminum square tubing. In some places the bracing looks to be solid aluminum. The vehicles (I have a problem calling them karts) are huge and have to weigh 500 pounds or more. Still 33 horsepower should be plenty to sufficiently propel them... not so, the acceleration was about like a fat man running after a Dorrito. It wanted to go faster, but just couldn't. The track is actually paved/asphalted which is a new one on me, but they have the track, banked turns and all paved inside a building. That might be a good thing if the karts were anything other than giant piggy tanks, but the banking just causes the open differential on these things to spin the inside lifted tires at the exit of the turn to make a flaccid whizzing noise while it free wheels. They don't provide lap times, which is ridiculous for an indoor karting track. There is probably only room for 4 or 5 of these track yachts on the track at a given time, if that, and I can't imagine how long it must take for them to cycle through a line of 20 or so people on a busy night. It is a tourist trap plain and simple. Stay away and drive your rental car around their parking lot instead. That would be more exciting, and the cop that pulls you over would likely be more personable than their employees were.
