The waiter said if we wanted a dessert he recommended the house made cheese cake, but we were pretty full, then I notice they had ice cream sandwiches and it was made in Portland Oregon with pure ingredients and the flavors they had was different from what we have back home, so of course we had to try some and we weren't disappointed! With LOTS of tables available. I didn't sit there. I was "upgraded" to the same setup, only this time I got to be with my back to a family of 10, reunioning, with lots of screaming kids. That's cool. They need to eat too. But I love that I get selected to be the intimate companion in this tiny room with lots of other tables available. Like the two 2-tops in the front room. Wait staff largely ignored me after someone dumped off water, got drinks for the big table, left, came back, took their order. And that took a while because all that time they had to look at the menu meant they had to ask about six items and then consult the 3 year old for their opinion. I saw four slivers of onion in them but they were unseasoned fried potatoes. The chicken fries steak...well, if it didn't come from frozen, I'd be surprised. It was food. It wasn't horrible. The wait staff did refill my soda without asking, and gave me a to go cup, which was really nice. Overall, the experience wasn't great and the food wasn't good enough for me to come back. That said, I'm an out of town visitor and opted for this place on my one time to choose where to eat in Redmond. I wish it had been better.

While I totally get wanting to take care of your people, their food came out 10-15 minutes before ours did. Using your position in the kitchen to completely skip the line and delay paying customers who ordered ahead of time just isn't right.
