Nacho Fries- Plain Taco - Carnitas Taco - Grilled Chicken
    Hendrick L.

Overall, we had a great experience here. The five stars isn't because this is Michelin star rated food or because there was some side show that delivered food to our table (spoiler alert, it's fast casual and they don't deliver food). The five star rating is because of our overall experience - quality of the food, huge number of options to meet anyone's palate (mexican food, indian dishes, pizza, breakfast foods), decent portion size, and solid service. There are lots of indoor and outdoor seating options, and they seem to have a few games that are typically on display. We stopped by in the summer, so things were very calm - our food came out quickly, there were no lines, and there was seating available everywhere. That said, they seem to have a really well integrated online ordering system. We ordered the following, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. * Nacho Fries - I decided to order without meat (which is very odd and rare for me), and boy and I glad I did. It was an explosion of taste. The flavors blended well together, and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! * Taco Plate - chicken taco, carnitas taco, and double order of rice (instead of beans & rice) * As a side note, they offered two self-serve salsas which were both delicious. As someone who likes spice (but not crazy burn), they were not hot at all, but really added good flavor. I really appreciated how the taco plate was customized for my son without any issue. He is not a fan of beans, and he really wanted two different types of tacos. The man behind the counter took the order with no problems at all. I was eyeing their pizzas while waiting. Those look fantastic as well. They are NY style, my favorite. You can create your own, or order from a few of their "standard" offerings which all looked delicious. You can also order individual slices, but you'd better fold them in half and eat them NY style while walking out! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give them a try (or several tries to get a sense for their wide variety).

I really enjoyed this food court and this sports bar. It's super convenient for the students and Stanford staff from all over. I ordered their jalapeño burger which was pretty big; meat patty was thick and full of juice. They also served a side of fries! This whole meal was only $6.95! Way cheaper than I expected and big in portion. Me and my co workers definitely had a good time here. I do want to come back and sip on some beer or wine while watching a football game. I'm sure it's pretty live and a fun place to be in during Stanford football games. They have a large variety of food on their menu here and the setup reminds me of Crepevine where everything is laid out on the wall (the menu). Their service is friendly and the orders come out pretty quick. I am definitely coming back!

Ordered a butter chicken bowl and realized it actually only had chicken, sauce and rice. Still pretty tasty and the portion size is pretty tasty, but I wish there could be some veggies!

Caliente es spicy! Ordered: - Spicy Burger $7.95 - Chicken Jalapeno Burger $7.50 Tina's Triggers and Thoughts - Spicy burger was super good! It has the tri-tip blend and it's seasoned beautifully with Thai chili peppers and it comes with fries! This burger comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and thousand island sauce. - Campus place is poppin'! Very hip and crowded for lunch when people come to watch the games on their flat screen TV - Owner or worker was super nice when I asked for suggestions - Cheap for me and the students! Glad to have something like this located in Tressider Union

It's refreshing and pairs well with a variety of toppings, like gummy bears and drizzles. There's a kid size for only $2.99! They also offer a range of delicious sundaes, featuring ice cream, whipped cream, sauces, and a cherry. The garlic fries are another hit. I kept it simple with a cheeseburger, garlic fries, and an iced tea. The burger was good, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The garlic fries were the crispy with plenty of garlic flavor. Service was fine but not overly friendly. Since it's mostly a self service experience, there isn't a lot of interaction beyond ordering and picking up your food. I had the Roadhouse burger, and it hit all the right notes -- great texture, solid taste, and simple flavors done really well. The fries were cooked perfectly and had just the right, refreshing level of seasoning. The drink selection is limited, but the Mexican Coke paired perfectly with the burger, so no complaints there. The space itself is small, simple, and clean, and I really enjoyed the Roadhouse movie theme and the license plates lining the walls -- fun touches that give the place character without feeling overdone. The guy taking the order was friendly. The food came out promptly. It was mid-week during lunch and the place was empty. It's a much brighter location. They had bench seating. I kinda liked the dimly lit prior location. I also vaguely recall they had a toppings bar. This place does not. I'm guessing COVID and inflation eliminated it. The food was fine. I felt the patties seemed smaller but they still had a nice charred meaty flavor. The fries were okay. Crispy, seasoned and on the thick side. However, nothing that memorable. I ordered a banana milkshake which tasted mostly like the vanilla shake my daughter ordered. I think they put in a banana syrup instead of fresh bananas. Bottom line: will I go back? Yes, because even though I'm spoiled by some epic burger joints from my home town, this is still overall a positive experience and still better than the food at my in-laws.

We waited for nearly ten minutes and when I asked again if we could sit at one of the tables was almost rudely told no, they were busy. So we left and went to Joanie's on California Avenue. They were also busy but immediately seated us and we had a much better lunch. Sometimes it's good to change things up as we'd forgotten how kind and attentive all the of the staff are at Joanie's and how much better the food was. And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.
