Well, I never thought I'd be sitting here writing a 1-star review for a tuxedo rental store in Santa Rosa, but I do have a story for you. My son was all set to enjoy his first - and last - prom night. We were shelling out a hefty 220 bucks for a 1-2 day tux rental, expecting a reasonable fit. But when I spotted a bunch of material bunched up behind my son's shoulders, I was concerned. I pointed it out to the store manager, Rich, who proposed to iron it out. I wasn't sure if this would fix it, but figured he knew his stuff. When I dared to ask if the size was too big, Rich got all prickly. He tried to use my son against, suggesting "your son seems happy with the fit." It was a nonsense argument - my son couldn't see the back of his own shoulders, and at 17, he's brand new to the world of tuxedos. (I must admit, I'm no expert either, but a good fit is readily apparent when you see one) I called Rich out on this, at which point he claimed loudly, "I've been in this business for 40 years!" effectively brow-beating me into accepting a poor fit. He cranked up the hostility and rudeness as we tried different sizes, knowing full well we were over a barrel, needing to pick up the tux that day. But the cherry on this shit show of a store came when, during a video call with my wife to discuss sizes, I said "I need a little space and time to discuss with my wife," to which Rich abruptly declared, "I'm done!" and started gossiping about me to other clients. How unprofessional! I'll be steering well clear of this place in the future, and I'm hoping Rich will do everyone a service by taking his grumpy self into retirement as soon as possible. read more

I went in got my suit top and shits only. Paid over 300$ for a two day rental then found out he charged me the same as everyone else that rented a full tux. I asked him why he didn't inform me that it didn't matter if you rent a jacket of full suit it's the same price. He said that's not his job. I said than what is your job to over Charge us. I asked for some money back but he declined and told me to leave. I would not go here he is not friendly and very pricy. Please got to men's warehouse across the street they were great for my son's wedding last year and way better pricing. Plus all the tuxes had problems like buttons falling off and some had stains. The quality of service we received was impeccable. Of our entire wedding party there was one mistake which was easily rectified, one of the groomsmen's pants and shoes were not the correct size, but the error was not so glaring that it wasn't easily fixed. We absolutely loved everything else and we rented enough tuxedos that my husband was able to get a free suit after. Their prices were better than those available at Men's Wearhouse and they had a system available for people who were coming from out of town. Off to a wedding at the end of September and need some measurements done before I went out there. I walked in and was greeted by the most friendly of people. I stood there patiently as my measurements were taken by a wonderful employee. She took her time and made sure that all the numbers were corrected. After she brought out a couple jackets to try on and made sure we found the size that worked the best. They then handed me my measurement card and off I went. I don't know where to begin! The service and garments were of the lowest order! Big hole in the crouch of my pants that looked like they had been stiched by a kindergardner! Caused a delay to the start of the wedding. Luckily another groomsmen let me borrow his pants last minute that had not fit him. Were not my size but better than walking down the aisle with a big hole in my crouch! Since I lucked out the owner Rich says I was made "Whole". Rich does not take responsibility, says he does not know who stiched them and said it was not them essentially calling me a liar. Offered $50 towards another suit and no refund! Thought that would make me happy knowing that I would never return and spend another dime at his shop! I had tried them on prior at the shop but since I put the shirt on first I did not catch it and Rich did not take the time to get close and look my suit over. From a distance after just a glance said "Your good"! Aside from that each person from my party had a bad thing to say from their service including the groom. Zero stars!! The prices are great here and lower than some of the other competing small businesses in the area. Additionally, Dan was willing to wave late fees, due to our wedding location and the dates we planned to leave town. They took the time offer consultation on colors and matching my wife's dress for the best picture outcomes too. They were patient, informative and very helpful.
