Decided to go some place different. Mostly because our regular jam had an hour wait...on a Monday....(tourists go home!). Not much on ambiance. I think it was supposed to be like a seafood shack but it had a chain restaurant feel. Loved the waitress. Hardworking dry personality. Walked over and was bossing the fish guy around which was quite amusing. Good selection of drinks. Great oysters and I guess they vary them a bunch but happy to see PEI in the mix. Captains platter was generous and well done. Sushi was "ok". Fresh fish at least just nothing to write home about. So it all averaged out to a four. We ordered their speciality the Hawaiian chicken which is served with a grilled pineapple and rice and the blackened tacos. There was a lively band playing and our table was right on the water. This was hands down the BEST Chicken Alfredo I've ever had! There was tomatoes, spinach and the sauce was amaaazingggg!! It was not a basic Alfredo. The restaurant was packed and they were cranking out food. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Unfortunately our food was just okay. The soup comes in a very small container. The grouper fingers lacked flavor and the volcano roll was not as expected. The lobster tacos were decent but nothing special. The seaweed salad was good but not good enough to bring this rating up. The sea salt caramel dessert was the best part of our meal. I'd give that a 5 star rating but our server told us it comes frozen from their supplier so it's definitely not fresh/made in house. Great place! The Twisted Tuna has a very extensive menu with something for everyone! I love how their menu is split between "land" vs "sea" options- it made it easy to choose what to eat quickly! The "Jalapeno Oysters" was one of my favorite appetizers- it has a great balance of heat and saltiness from the baked cheese! The "Twist Calamari" is also a great option- it was lighlty fried and was tossed in their homemade white wine and garlic sauce which was pretty good! The Twisted Tuna also has some really great Sushi options! I loved the "Sexy Yellowtail" and its topped with Hamachi which was really fresh and tasted amazing! The "Lobster Roll" is also delicious! It comes plated with the lobster shell (A+ for presentation) which is stuffed with lobster salad! They also have sushi boats- so cool! The outside bartender on 6/4/25 at around 7:00 PM. was freaking out of control. We thought that she was either high or drunk. She was so loud, jumping all over the place, going around the bar and sitting with numerous customers, etc. No class whatsoever. Management should definitely take note. It made us very uncomfortable. We only stayed for one drink and did not order food because of the situation. We have been there numerous times but this situation will not be tolerated again. Generally the food is ok. There's a parking lot as well as valet parking for this restaurant. There's indoor seating as well as outdoor. The menu is huge with everything from sushi to calzones. The service was good in the beginning but then really fell off. We tried the alligator bites for an appetizer which was good. We also had the grouper tacos which only had a small strip of grouper on each, the grouper sub which was huge, the Bavarian pretzel which was also huge, and the buffalo chicken sandwich. This place is pretty good. The service was spectacular. Our waitress Sydney did an excellent job of keeping us taken care of and entertained. She made it a much better experience. The food was not just mind blowing but it was good. I enjoyed the patio atmosphere and the oysters were fresh and delicious. The steam boil we got was middle of the road but I'd eat it again. I just prefer more seasoning in mine and the shrimp were a bit over cooked. What an amazing experience in Jupiter! We found Twisted Tuna by accident and we were so pleased. The property and atmosphere was fantastic. Colorful beach vibe with tons of food options! Fresh seafood, sushi, steaks, and bar food galore! We decided to grab some sushi which was delicious and I also noticed some of the other food coming out which looked tasty as well! We were greeted by Garrett, who I assume is an Owner. Very friendly!!!! His staff was wonderful too! We met a few of them and they were helpful and sweet and gorgeous. The best part was all of the other fun patrons we met and interacted with. It's a place where you instantly feel at home. We stayed there for 6 hours!!!!! We visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I have dined at the Port Salerno location a few times, but this was my first Jupiter experience. I do enjoy being on the water at the Port Salerno location; however, the sushi at the Jupiter location was epic. We were at a party of three to include my mother, a little man and myself. My mother wasn't that hungry so she opted for the large Bavarian pretzel appetizer. It came with a cheese sauce and a mustard dip. I tasted a small piece and it was very fresh. I really like the mustard dip, but cannot speak to the quality of the cheese because I didn't taste it. When little man wasn't eating all of my eel sashimi, yes really... He had the kids fish fingers and fries entrée. I tasted a piece of his fish finger and it was very fresh. I was extremely impressed by the fresh potato french fries. They were seasoned well and appropriately for children. As stated previously, I enjoyed the 3 piece eel sashimi along with a Midori roll. I substituted cucumber with carrots. My roll and sashimi were both extremely fresh and delicious. My only gripe is they don't offer brown rice. My mom enjoyed two Bahama mamas and stated at the bartender was generous with the alcohol. If it meets her standard, you can pretty much guarantee it's a good drink! ;) I will definitely return here soon for sushi and the happy hour looks enticing as well. This is a great spot with indoor and outdoor dining. Really cool bar outside and a great atmosphere. My wife and I ordered a bunch of appetizers- Fried shrimp, conch, fish dip, and chowder. All of them were excellent. I have also heard great things about the sushi here. I will definitely be trying that next time. I over-indulged and got the Twisted Grouper Sub... oh boy. It was a winner. I couldn't finish all of the bread, but I would highly recommend it. The servers were great. I ordered the cracked conch appetizer today out at the tiki bar. Loved the tiki area and pool scene but was a tad disappointed to learn it's some sort of community pool with no access. Odd because the whole outside seating area borders it as if it were a part of the place. Two items on the menu caught my interest because they are getting harder to find nowadays. The cracked conch (not conch fritters) and Florida gator tail. The fritters were good although at $19 they were overpriced for the portion. Too bad. Wifey ordered the seafood Cobb salad which was quite good. I think I liked it more than she did though due to the wasabi dressing which will definitely clear the sinuses. We came on a Sunday night and it wasn't too crowded. We waited about 5 minutes at the host stand before someone came to speak to us, but then we were seated immediately after. The decor is basic beach/nautical themed, nothing too crazy. I'm not sure if the server was stretched pretty thin with her section or if the kitchen was just moving slow, but everything took an incredibly long time. We were seated and then not greeted for an additional 10 minutes. Then the drinks took an additional 10-15 minutes to come to the table and the alcoholic beverages came before the nonalcoholic. As for the food, it was just ok. We started with the volcano shrimp and that was pretty good. We also tried a few of the sushi rolls. My advice would be to stay away from any of the cooked/fried rolls. The texture of those is just plain weird. Overall, I feel like what we got was overpriced and we won't be back. read more
