I went in there to ship a computer to my in-laws. The computer was in its original box, and well packaged. The woman at the counter didn't start off with "HI, how are you" or anything personal like that. She started with "What do you want to do with that?" OK, I can still make this work. She then said it wasn't packaged well enough and wanted to charge me $40 to repackage it. Um, What?? Then it would be another $60 to ship it cross country. And that was the SLOW method. She then said that she had seem the hub where all the packages go through and that it wasn't pretty. Really? Is this a good representation of your company? The overall impression I got from this woman was that she didn't want to do anything. So I grabbed the box, headed out the door and paid to send it through the same carrier for $21 3 day select, but I went to another location. By the way, the computer arrived, in one piece and in good condition. read more

If i can give them a 0 star i would do it without even thinking about it. A place where they should be more responsible and understand that a customer should be helped first when a package is lost, instead of helping other customers because you dont want the store to be full! They had my package for a whole week at their store! And ive been going back and forth asking for my package because it shows that its delivered to their store! But they dont want to spend extra effort looking for it! They kept sending me home saying that they will call me when they ask the delivery guy, which never happened!!! The package had my PASSPORT!! And if i wasnt in a hurry and payed extra for my package to get delivered fast i wouldn't care! The funny part is when they called their manager she didnt even care! All she said is that shes busy she will call me later, its been a while now and never got a call back from her not even from the employee that im waiting an answer on my refund request! DO NOT EVER USE!! I would give it a zero if I could. Paid $40 to mail surgical mask and caps for my daughter who is a nurse in Seattle Washington. (Package mailed in Oregon)Paid for overnight services. She did not get them overnight, because "the manager" of the store, said it was "an act of God" because of inclement weather. It was 70° and sunny. So if you want to pay $40, not to get your package delivered when promise because it is sunny and beautiful outside, do not use them. What a horrible excuse to steal $40 from people. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I choose to come here to send out every single piece of mail I can. The service here is ridiculously amazing. Every single employee I've encountered was/is always so patient and kind. I usually come in with my two year old whom sometimes doesn't like to stay by my side. One of the employees started interacting and playing with my son and even brought out a piece of bubble wrap to let him hop on and pop while I was handling my package mail off. How awesome is that? The store has been fine when it has come to dropping off prepaid USPS mail and Amazon returns. When I came in today to mail a very small package via First Class mail on my own dime, however, I was charged twice the normal USPS rate. I asked the clerk (Saleem) why the fee was so high, and he said it was because I added tracking service. According to the USPS site, this service is included for First Class packages. If the UPS Store marks up their USPS rates, he should have just told me so I could have made an informed decision rather than LYING TO MY FACE. I'll probably continue to use the location for Amazon returns due to sheer "convenience", but I'll never use it again for USPS mail or packages. Expensive lesson learned. read more

Great service and fast printing! I needed to print a few documents and they made it super fast and easy. I had my files online and all I had to do was send it to their email address (easiest if you email yourself the documents and forward it to their store email). Printing took less than 5 minutes and all for a pretty decent price. read more

I had a really good experience at the Beaverton UPS Store. I had to ship a package to family before Christmas and found that they could also help me with my business cards! The package arrived on schedule (they walked me through the process/gave me all of the options and made it easy)! The cards were done quickly and exactly as specified! I will be coming back here again for my shipping needs, but also I plan to ask the UPS Store in Beaverton to do my letterhead/envelopes for my business. Had a really good experience and would recommend this store to anyone in the community not only for shipping but also for printing - which I was surprised to find! Top notch! read more

Schyler and Ashley are the best! This UPS *always* has the nicest people and top notch customer service. We had a super heavy and very unwieldy memory foam mattress topper that took 2 people to lift and wouldn't be wrangled back in its original box for anything. We bought it on Amazon so we had to ship it somehow. They carried it out of our car, found a box the perfect size, and between the 4 of us, we wrangled it in by pushing and almost laying on it and into that box it went! Yeah brute force! They zipped it up with tape in mere seconds before it could begin expanding all over the place again and busting out of that box like it had its original one. And they were sooo nice about it! You'd think people brought in billowing memory foam mattresses to be wrangled every day of the week. ;) Highly recommend! Thanks guys for your help! read more

The staff is great. However, they do not have a slot for outgoing mail which is a big problem. Also, they are under staffed. You often have to wait over a full day to get your mail because they haven't put away the mail yet. They simply need more employees working at the same time. Two employees cannot be expected to keep up with the work load they have at that store. read more

So, I had two packages sent from an out-of-state UPS store via UPS to this UPS store. Was told that in order to receive my packages here, I'd have to pay $10 each on top of the amount already paid to ship them. Was told it was "because they are a franchise." Whatever that means. They also said "they (meaning the other UPS store) should have told me." But instead of handling this internally and offering to waive the fee on UPS's screw-up, they just shrugged their shoulders. It must be convenient to brand yourself as UPS when it is to your financial gain, but claim to be independent of UPS when that is convenient. Bottom line, if there's a mistake, the customer will ALWAYS take the hit. And when they tell you the bad news, you'll get a smile and a limp apology. But it gets better. They said they usually just automatically refuse such packages and it was an accident that my boxes came at all. So, again, just so we understand what is happening here... a UPS store is in the habit of refusing UPS shipments from other UPS stores because... "it's a franchise thing." And when, having paid my $20 hostage fees, I asked if I might leave the boxes for about fifteen minutes to bring the car around, was told "no" (before I even finished my sentence) because... "It's a security thing." UPS seems to have a lot of "things" when it suits them, but one of those "things" is not customer service. Skip this awful place. Let them keep their things. You keep your money. read more

CAUTION: Either the UPS Murray location's scale is outrageously erroneous or they intentionally ripped me off. I brought a package to be shipped back to sender (who had shipped it to me via UPS which is why I chose UPS to ship it back). They received it but when I tried to get a refund for shipping the sender wanted to know why it was so much more expensive. Upon further investigation I found out there was a huge discrepancy between the weight of the package arriving to me and the weight of the package I sent back (both shipped through UPS). The package I sent back was double the weight even though it was literally the exact same package that I simply resealed. I researched the weight of the items online and sure enough it matched the weight of the package the sender sent me through UPS, but when I sent it back through the Murray UPS location the weight of the package somehow magically doubled. I don't know if it's a bad scale or bad employees but I lost $$$ because of this UPS location. Take your packages elsewhere. read more

In-store customer service is friendly. But delivery and after-sales care is INCOMPETENT. I shipped a package of VERY important business documents on a Wednesday and made it absolutely clear that it was MISSION CRITICAL for the package to arrive by midday on the following Tuesday. The clerk urged me to use UPS Expedited (2nd day) to ensure delivery BEFORE the deadline. The package was NOT delivered until midday on Wednesday - a full WEEK after shipping. This created a serious loss of business for my company because now we are disqualified from a major business contract exclusively due to LATE delivery. UPS won't do anything at all to fix the problem. UPS won't even explain WHY the package was NOT delivered on Monday or Tuesday. read more

Overpriced to ship. Dropping off packages is fine & didn't have to wait. But when I was bringing in my packages & the staff member could see that I was carrying 3 packages plus trying to help my toddler into the store, he didn't even stop what he was doing to get the door for me!! And he wasn't helping any other customers. I had to set my packages down on the ground to open the door to be able to get in. And even when I left (I didn't end up shipping through them because they are too expensive), he didn't even help me on my way out the door either. The sad thing is the guy was nice & I know not many people believe in chivalry anymore but where is your decency to helping others in general?! If I worked there I would stop what I was doing to help any customer, even if I was actually helping someone else, because that would be the courteous thing to do. My husband and I were struggling at home to create memorial cards for my mom's Celebration of Life and knew we needed to get them printed professionally but were running out of time. I found a coupon for discount color copies at this location and called on a Friday to ask about having the cards run here. MJ had me email her the card we had designed and she printed a copy for me to come approve. It looked great when I went to take a look, but then we made some more changes at home and did not get back to the store till Saturday afternoon. We thought we had it scaled properly for four on a page, but we didn't, so MJ spent a lot of time helping us get it right. She did a lot of additional design work on the computer for us, and made many copies in various sizes till it was right. She was gracious and kind throughout the entire process, even though she was in the middle of another project. MJ did not charge us for the design work, the test copies - including full page prints she let us keep to frame - or the cutting she helped with afterward. In addition, she discounted the total cost using a different code since the original coupon did not apply to cardstock printing. MJ made a difficult time and stressful situation much better, and people were delighted to have a memorial card with color pictures of my mom at our event the next day.
