Went there to ship my AR-15 upper receiver back to the manufacurer for repair. I was told, rudely, by the idiot working the counter that they would not ship it. When I asked for an explanation I was not given any. I have since researched online and found out that UPS considers the upper receiver a "firearm" and that it must be shipped from a UPS facility other than a UPS Store. Of course the jerk at this UPS Store did not bother to tell me this and now I will NEVER do business there ever again. I went to FedEx and shipped the package without any problems. read more

I was shipping a nice wooden puzzle to my brother. I was told at the toy store to bubble wrap it, wrap in paper and go to ups. Was very busy so asked for a quote for them to wrap and mail it. $95. What?! So I went to walmart, bought 7 dollars of supply's and wrapped it. I came back and they told me they do not accept paper wrapped packages. Wtf?! Wish they would have clued me in before. Also, they were extremely rude about it, as if no one on the planet would accept a paper wrapped package. Went to USPS, had it shipped for $25 and friendly service to boot. Will not be back. I have never written a negative review for a business, but I will never go back to this store and felt like I should warn others. I have used them for several years and they have never been friendly but it was convenient to my house. This week I took a package in to return to Zappos and she handed me the plastic label and said, you can do this, meaning she was not going to do it. I took the backing off of the label in the wrong sequence and had to ask for a new label. She was not happy with me. The second one, I got on but it was wrinkled and she looked at me with disgust and said, It is not that hard!! Who says that to a customer?! After seeing all the other negative reviews i'm compelled to write one as well. The Lady (Joyce) is one of the RUDEST people i've ever met in my life, and treats paying customers extremely disrespectfully. I was quoted over $125 to package and ship an item that I ended up getting Fedex to wrap and ship for me for $37. The main difference is Fedex didn't treat me like I was an asshole or inconveniencing them for asking them to help box, wrap and package it securely. I'm pretty sure as a store, that ships PACKAGES, that should not be an extravagant request. I've tried since then to use them one more time, while my printer was out of ink and needed to print a label to stick on, and the cost was also absolutely ridiculous, i'm surprised they didn't make me buy the entire roll of packing tape to attach it to the box. I've always used UPS to ship but now use Fedex or drive to another UPS location, you will not see my business again. read more

RUDE SERVICE!!!!!!! I've been to this place twice and both times have had beyond hostile service. An older gentlemen prefer not to name is very rude!! Come on people we obviously don't know how the machines work at times, but when I asked how it seems he was annoyed. He actually yelled at me!! I kindly told him to help me again and he pretended to not hear me.. really!? Isn't that their job? I actually had to leave because I didn't want to ask him again!! The woman working there couldn't have been more rude to me and my husband when we came in to ship a bike rack. I came based on the website saying they could package anything from a grandfather clock to a motorcycle. So was surprised when they could not help me. But worse was the girls attitude. She clearly didn't want to be bothered by actual paying customers. I won't be back even though I was able to find a box myself to put it in. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I have used this UPS store twice in the last few weeks and both times they were very helpful and fast. I'm spoiled because I've always been able to have all my UPS shipping needs handled at work - I've changed jobs and no longer have that luxury! The first time I purchased all my packaging from Target and boxed everything up myself (what a pain). Today, I just grabbed the stuff I needed to send and hauled it in there. They packed it all up, slapped a label on it and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Surprisingly, the packaging was less expensive getting it directly from them (and the recipients won't have to scratch their heads when they find the empty water bottles I used as additional filler to keep the box from caving in!). I'm a member of AAA so I take advantage of the discount they offer (if you're not a AAA member you should be - I've paid for my membership 20X w/in 3 months by taking advantage of all the discounts at various places - especially RR Outlet Mall). read more

I only wish there was an option for zero stars. This is based on my wife's experience, but was my fault. The skinny --- wife went to wine country and decided to have some wine shipped home. Realizing that an adult signature was required, I did a UPS intercept and had it redirected to this UPS Store. Once it arrived, my wife gets a call from who we assume is the owner. She tells my wife that her packages have been there 2 days now and she returns them after 3. Now, per the UPS My Choice agreement, 5 days is what they are supposed to hold, but this isn't even the worst part. She then proceeds to tell my wife that she is going to charge $5 for the lightweight package and $25 for each of the 38lb packages, totaling $55. My wife was astounded and confused. We have stuff delivered to FedEx Office all of the time and there is no additional charge and a customer service oriented agent ready to help. I'm not sure how this lady stays in business, but she claims she can charge per package because she is a franchisee. I'm sure UPS will like to know how their franchisees are doing business outside the rules. To end the story, my wife goes into the store today to pickup her packages. They were marked to return to UPS and not allow my wife to pick them up. The girl working the counter was friendly, but had no clue what to do. She called the angry owner lady again. She then said that she would drop the charges to $25 for us to pickup our packages that we had already paid shipping charges on. Since we wanted the wine, we paid, but beware, this is a terrible, terrible location. UPS is not a bad company, but stores like this one sure do hurt their brand image and should not be allowed to continue doing business branded as such. read more

There are NO words to describe how awful this store is and the people who own it! Thank God for the NEW and awesome UPS at Lakeline and Crystal Falls!!!! I shipped a package on April 1st, and it is April 20th and it still has not been delivered. Ups headquarters told me to contact the store since they are all franchises. They said that clearly the store misrepresented themselves in taking my money to ship to a military base. Marine Corps in San Diego. When I called the store last Thursday, Joyce was the rudest person I have ever encountered in customer service. She told me it was MY problem, and that is not her job to deliver packages. What???? She said "I only ship, I got nothing to do with the delivery!" Woman with low class obviously. After talking to friends and reading these reviews, I am on point that this place has no business representing UPS. I reported the franchise to UPS headquarters. Hopefully they will shut it down. Anyway, my package is still somewhere.... Take my advice, and NEVER go here!!!! Wish there were negative stars. read more

I "shipped" a product through this store. The tracking number showed it never left the store. They "helped" by filing a claim for me. I sumitted proof of the amount $325, and I was presented with a check for $108. $100 for the default amount and I guess $8 for shipping. The shipping cost $16.22. I have a copy of the claim they sumitted to UPS in the amount of $116.22. Where did the over $8 go? I guess that was my "tip" for the service. So, if you enjoy your packages not ever leaving the store and then receiving a check for a third of the value and half of your shipping cost, this is the store for you. The girl is RUDE, and i will give it a low score, the lowest, which is a 1 star. I told David that i wanted to send my pkg UPS but he took it on himself to send it USPS. When I looked at the receipt later that evening which was Friday evening it said priorty mail and someone told me which i knew should have the 1Z reference #. Instead it had a long number that said reference ID. I was pissed to say the least. read more

I wish you could give a negative star rating. I hate this place, the employees must take trainings on how to be jerks. I sent a package that was damaged while in transit. Called UPS and the said the charges would be refunded at this store (where I sent it from). The manager flat out refused to refund me and didn't care at all what UPS committed to. I dropped a pkg off, called back and asked them to hold needed to re-route, told me they would and then they shipped it anyway, worse off I contacted UPS and they said too bad they were a franchise and can do whatever. I am impressed with the new management of this store. The team takes pride in their work and delivers as requested on time. I also have ALL my mail and packages delivered to this location and they receive shipments on my behalf routinely, saving me from worrying about a package sitting on the front porch until I get home. read more

My experience over the last 2 years has been great with this UPS Store. David and Mandy have become our friends and they bend over backwards to help us. We have a mail box there and when ever I need them to ship my mail to my traveling location... They do an excellent job. I can't believe the reviews because I have only had great experiences and interactions with this store and all the employees. Because of all of the bad reviews on here, I went into this UPS store with a fear of having bad customer service. Although I was only in there for a short period of time, the customer service was fantastic! The man who helped me at the counter said hello to me whenever I was next in line to step up and he had a positive, friendly attitude towards me the entire transaction! I am giving this UPS store location a 1 star review simply because it is not possible to give them anything lower. The service i received in this store is amongst the worst I have ever received. I took in a package to be shipped and was not greeted or even acknowledge by any of the staff. Then the "owner" Joyce, whom was reluctant to help in the first place asked what she could do for me. I told her that I needed a label sleeve for my pre-printed label. She gave the me label but she determined that the manner in which i had attached it to the box was incorrect and proceeded to berate me for my "inability" to put the label on correctly. When i got the label on the package she then informed me that she was unable to ship the package because the "weight" was wrong. I asked her how it was possible for her to know that considering she hadn't even weighted the package. She then asked me what the package contained. I informed her that it was a Long Rifle being shipped to an FFL dealer in Colorado. She instantly switched gears and told me that there was no way that they would be able to ship my package, as they did not have the proper license to ship firearms. I asked her if this was a new policy and informed her that I had shipped a firearm from her stores location on 2 previous occasions, to which she responded by calling me a liar. She then informed me that i needed to leave the store, for what reason i still do not know. I simply wanted more information regarding my previous shipments to which she responded "Im the owner and i can do whatever I want" and then proceeded to call me an "asshole". I was escorted out of the store by the male staff members and was subject to Joyce's verbal abuse throughout the entire process. I have since contacted the UPS Corporate headquarters and informed them of my dealings with the Cedar Park location, and since Joyce had already determined that i was a "liar" about shipping a firearm from her store I decided to include a copy of my receipt from dropping off my previous firearms that I had shipped from her store to the corporate office. The agent informed me that they take these matters very seriously, and that hefty fines come with shipping firearms without a license so I am quite assured that punitive action and a large fine will be heading their direction. I personally believe that UPS should discontinue their franchise affiliation with the Cedar Park location as Joyce and her staff are nothing short of incompetent and a poor reflection on the UPS brand and continued sponsorship of their store will surely only cause UPS more complaints and a consistent loss of customers. read more

I had to drop off packages for delivery this morning and the attendant on duty certainly did not meet your everyday uninspired customer service performance, leaving nothing to be said about offering satisfactory customer service. He was rude and inattentive. When I entered the store, he was assisting another customer. Never did he acknowledge my presence, and even after he was done assisting the customer he was attending, still never acknowledged my presence. I had to request his assistance. It was very clear that he wished I was not there, and made no effort to suggest he would like to have repeat business. I plan to oblige him, and take my business else where from now on. Shame on UPS for having such unprofessional employees represent you, I truly hope it is a lack of awareness on your part. I have been to this store before and received satisfactory customer service, it is unfortunate how one bad apple can spoil the whole cart. read more
