I've used this store twice during the holiday season and both times the service was fantastic! I was helped by Talissa both times. She was friendly, efficient, and interactive. I had gifts that wouldn't fit in a regular USPS Priority mail box, so Talissa found boxes and packed them right in front of me. I went to this UPS location to complete a live-scan for work. A nice female employee (Brandie) completed my live-scan and I left. I received a notice from DOJ that the form was not completed properly and that I would need to complete a resubmission form. I returned to UPS and showed Brandie the rejection notice and she stated that she made an error and completed a new form and submitted it. I again received a notice from DOJ that the form was not completed properly, so again, I returned to this same UPS store. I showed the notice to a different female employee and she made it seem that it was my fault that it was not completed properly. She said that I would have to pay for another live-scan. I was a little upset at this point and I believe the manager of the store (Julie) came out from the back room to speak to me. I explained everything to her and she told me the proper title for the position on the live-scan form was not correct. I told Julie this was not my fault and that I simply wanted to get this done properly. She told me reluctantly that the store would "Eat it" for the cost of the third live-scan submission. She completed the third live scan herself then showed me on the live-scan computer where the correct title was listed. She gave me a copy of the form and I left. My major problem with this incident is NOT that I had to return three times to get this completed correctly, it is the attitude of the staff that it was some how my fault for these errors and that I was being a pain. What I expected was "Oh, I am sorry that you had to return three times to get this done" and for them to accept that it was there mistakes that I had to return and caused them to "Eat it" - for the cost of the third live-scan. I have been in customer service type work all my life and I can't tell you how many times I had to apologize for not only my own mistakes, but those of OTHERS which caused the customer an inconvenience ! For Julie and the other female employee (Not Brandie) ...... Please work on your customer service attitude ! Your customers will appreciate it !! Thanks ...... I had a mailbox at this location for years. Since Hugh and Mary took over, customer service has been amazing. I was sad to cancel my box in June. Last week I accidentally had a package sent to the mailbox. Mary told me she would waive the usual $5 fee. I told her I may have one more package coming as I tried to cancel as soon as I submitted my order and saw the address was incorrect, however the shipper was not sure if they could change the address in time. Mary called today and said they received my package and it would be a $5 charge or they can return to sender. I told them to RTS. I am disappointed that as a long time customer I would be charged for this mistake, especially when for certain packages UPS allows you to have packages delivered to a UPS Store location for no charge. I will miss seeing everyone who works there! read more

The new owners of this location are amazing! Not only do they understand and know how to deliver outstanding customer service, they deliver a superior product. Our non-profit had a SNAFU from a different print shop with a large, vinyl color banner for advertising an upcoming fundraiser. UPS STORE TO THE RESCUE!!!! Wowza! I think this is my first 1-star review! As you can tell from my Yelp profile, I like reviewing places that I liked, and I really am not one for a smear campaign, but this place just requires it. I've shipped many things here, but on two separate occasions I've had massive $175+ mistakes. And without going into the details of why, I must say that everyone makes mistakes and I really try and be as understanding as possible and I personally believe I'm quite patient. The problem lies in the fact that "The UPS Store", and all those for that matter, are franchises owned by "MBE" aka Mailboxes Etc. They then contract out to the actual UPS for shipping services. Have a problem? Go ahead, call UPS. They'll kindly be the first to tell you they have absolutely nothing to do with MBE or The UPS Store. You can then call MBE, who will immediately tell you they have nothing to do with the independently managed store. Through this maze of corporate branding you might be asking yourself why UPS even lends their name to these stores if they so blatantly want nothing to do with them other than pickup packages? Well you sir, are asking one awesome question. Bottom line is this: When it goes wrong here, it goes horribly wrong and the only way to have things set right is by essentially getting money out of the owners pocket. I have generally received slow but effective service at this location but felt the need to write this review today because this is the 2nd time in the last month that this location has not honored their posted hours. This is unacceptable. I should not have to call to make sure that a company is open when they say they are going to be open. Their posted hours for Saturday are 9:00-4:00. Twice I have arrived at 3:30 on a Saturday to find that they have closed early. This is completely unacceptable for a business that specializes in mail and shipping. read more

I showed up with two packages and one label that was supposed to cover them both - rookie move - and instead of being irritated and unhelpful, the staff commiserated with kindness and helped me repackage (for a steal). They solved my problem in less than five minutes. I even left my wallet at home but all good, they have Apple Pay. read more

No zero star option. Missed a package delivery at our home. Called the 800 number and was told the package was dropped off at this store. My wife went down to pick it up just before closing. After a quick look in back and not finding it my wife was told "it's not here". After some further question asking by my wife as to where it could be, she was told again ITS NOT HERE". Since the computers were off (really the computers were off?) they could provide her with no other info. We are CLOSED GET OUT. WOW. Now I'm sorry we came in so close to closing but did she really deserve such rude treatment? So much for customer service. Now I get to go back down to find the missing package. Since this place is near where I live, I've gone here to send faxes, packages, make copies, etc. While I don't feel that the prices are extremely low, that's on me for using this place out of convenience. All in all, I would continue to use this location. There tends to be a line every time I go, so if you do go, make sure to give yourself a little time :) read more

Getting something done here is like asking a friend for a favor. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Everyone always gets a cheery greeting when you walk in the door. I'm new to their many services and Amazon returns so sometimes things need to be explained to me in detail. I've been to several other UPS stores and this is my favorite even if it's several miles out of my way. read more

Love the people who work here. So friendly, kind and helpful. I've had to get my fingerprints done here for my nursing license, and it was quick and easy. I've had to do a multitude of other things there as well, like, printing, shipping, faxing, etc...always so easy. I decided I liked them so much, I opened a mailbox there, too! Unfortunately, my condos mailboxes were constantly getting broken into, so that was the main reason. This review is only for online printing services. This store is listed on the corporate site and I was able to send them a print job. However, when I went to pick it up, I was told that they don't have a corporate printing account and couldn't print my job nor could they send it to another store nor refund my money. Normally I go In the mornings when the most competent and kind ladies are there to help me but not this time. I arrived around 6:20pm on Thursday evening to make copies but the store was already busy with customers so I waited until the young man was finished with other customers around 6:30 (which is normal closing time) and told him what I wanted to make booklets front to back copies, He seemed perplexed and started doing it manually for me, when I told him I wanted to do it automatically so it could collate and staple he said this was the only way he was shown how to do it. I tried showing him but he kept saying you have to do it like this. Therefore I had extra copies that were unnecessary that I eventually had to pay for in the process of teaching him how to use the printer...not to mention the printer jammed In the middle of a cycle and it took him 5 minutes to fix it and then told me it cancelled your print job and I had to start over because I couldn't re-collate what had already been done. I didn't think I was going to have to pay for that error but I did. Not only did I have to print my own job, because He had no clue, but I was now going to pay for all the extras even the ones that were not my fault? All the while being told that he can't miss his bus at 7pm because it was his only ride home. As 7 pm approached, the time his bus was coming as he mentioned a few times, we were hurrying to make our booklets. It is not my problem as a customer to make sure you catch your ride. That's like saying I had plans after work at 7, I gotta go...you help the customer until they are satisfied and the job is finished! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Then on top of everything he proceeded to charge me for 328 something copies, which in order to pay to get him out before 7, he took the key back to the printer to check how many copies which in turn stopped the process yet again. All the mistakes and then some, and I said I'm not paying for them because they were not all my fault. He called his boss in front of me explaining what was happening including that he was ticked because he was gonna miss his bus. Then said I must have been getting a discount from the ladies in the morning. Reality was I was using a coupon that Safeway had on the back of the receipts. Paying .39 cents for one color side was a lot. But I wound up paying $156 for 10-7 page booklets and 14-8 page booklets. The math didn't add up. Which explained that he was just counting what was on the key. I told him I'm not paying for his mistakes when the paper jammed and we had to start over. He said 'I Didn't Mess With Your Shit!' That was the last straw....I proceeded to tell him his customer service was horrible and you don't EVER USE PROFANITY with a customer or pressure them because your ride is coming or you have to leave by a certain time. He continued to argue with me....Needless to say in order to get my booklets I paid the full amount and left at 7:02 he got back on the phone with his boss as we left because I told him I would be calling his boss....and had I done the copies manually, I would have been there until at least 7:15. One color copy back to back page was .78 cents. That's a total rip off. Worst Service Ever! read more

I can't speak about the package/mailing service for this store, as I used the UPS star near K-Mart, which has great service. This review is for the notary. I believe his name is Larry. He's a grandfather and knows his business! I believe he worked for the State of CA in the past, so his knowledge of state laws for other states is good also. My cousin had to have some documents signed two separate times and this time we used the UPS Store at Treat and Clayton. The first time, we used the UPS Store at Park and Shop the first time and the notary over there was very particular about every little detail, which may be good, but we felt like she was trying to do more work to get paid more, since the rate per page is set by the State. But, Larry was much more customer friendly and did not charge for every little thing. If I need a notary in the future, I'd go to this location. Larry knows what's necessary and what's not and you'll benefit by his knowledge from years in the industry. read more

If you need a notary, be careful you know exactly what is needed. We Only needed 2 signatures notarized but the person wanted to charge for 20 signatures. At $15 a signature, there is a difference. Some poor person before us was charge for 22 signatures. We walked out. read more

I HAVE HAD VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS UPS STORE. THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT AN INSURED BROKEN SHIPMENT. I shipped a package at this UPS Store on 4425 C Treat in Concord! I packed it well and the Manager of the store inspected the box and packing. She approved of the packing and box and said it could go fine! I paid for extra insurance up to $200.00. They shipped it and it arrived broken in many pieces. I notified the insurance at UPS of the condition of the shipment. UPS picked up the broken item and shipped it back to the UPS store that I had shipped it from. The UPS Store gave the broken item back to me and denied the insurance coverage saying that they had not packed the shipment and therefore was not responsible for the damage. I had asked for their approval of the packaging before shipping and now they say it was not packed by them so therefor was not insured. I would have had them repack the shipment if they said it was needed. read more
