UPDATE 3.17.2019 Per Owner response, an "honest mistake" doesn't account for how I was spoken to. No customer should ever be spoken to that way. Mixing me up with another "Johnathan" doesn't mean you raise your voice in front of other customers and start berating me or accusing me. I never received a single apology for the verbal treatment and how I was treated. They simply apologized for mixing up my package. While UPS found my package, they still have not settled the legal costs incurred for filing small claims action against them. They told me they are working on it but I haven't heard from them for a few days. While I appreciate the Yelp Owner's quick response in a public forum for others to see, I wish privately this matter would resolve and I saw the same responsiveness. Would like to see them follow up to fully resolve this matter, and I'd like to end this review positively. ----- I am truly stunned at how the manager, Letticia Garcia, spoke to me and treated me. I was absolutely shocked at her terrible leadership and unprofessionalism, and how confrontational she was towards me. This store threw my package away when it was returned to them b/c I didn't come to pick it up within 7 days. No one EVER told me their policy, that they would throw it away after 7 days. When I went in, the Assistant Manager Armando Talavera (Armando was very respectful and tactful) and the Manager Letticia Garcia both told me they would have told me in the voicemail they left me. When I played the manager the voicemail I had that shows they did not, and tried to get more details of how I would have known about their policy, the Manager accused me of being aggressive and refused service to me. The worker who left the message to me heard her voicemail playing and then loudly said from the back, "WHY DID YOU WAIT TO COME HERE AND PICK IT UP? THAT'S ON YOU!" I should have known this was going downhill after I asked Ms. Garcia if they keep record of who called me to first tell me about the package and she said yes they do. I then said 'oh that's great because I was just told you don't but if you do that'll help me". Then she got super loud, pointed her finger at me and said, "SIR, DO NOT BE TWISTING MY WORDS AND USING THEM AGAINST ME." What??????????? Why are you loud? What am I using against you? How did I twist your words? Are we on the same team? Do you want to help me? Am I a customer? What is happening? I just need the information so I can file a claim. I'd also genuinely like to know the process of how my package was thrown away. Can someone take the time to explain it, and acknowledge where maybe the process could improve? By my asking simple questions 1) Do you have record of when you called me, 2) Do you have record of throwing away my package and 3) Do you have record of ever disclosing your policy to me, they had records of NOTHING. Nothing! The manager became extremely defensive and LOUD in front of all of the customers, just by my asking for details about my package they threw away! The most classic thing she said to me (LOUDLY) after realizing no one told me the policy, "THIS IS COMMON SENSE." Wow, can't believe a customer is spoken to that way. I stayed calm and tried explaining I just need the information about my package. In the end, Letticia Garcia was incredibly unprofessional, repeatedly raised her voice at me with several customers around, and asked me to leave the store. I never once raised my voice or acted unprofessional back. Worse yet, I was going to ship another package, and she handed the package back to me and said they were refusing service to me. Speechless. Wow! This kind of treatment needs acknowledged. Humiliating. Guess small claims is next... The fact that two people both spoke rashly to me, I could only encourage the Owner to review any footage they have. I am extremely professional, and it was merely my questions and their lack of answers that made them so defensive (not Armando). Only added one star so I could post. Here is the cut/past version of my complaint filed with Better Business Bureau: My elderly mother is victim of fraud. As part of the scam, she was sent to UPS on Willow Pass Road to send a package (cash) overnight. She paid $97.45 for overnight delivery. The package took two days. This delay caused extreme stress as the person scamming her became impatient and harassed her by phone the entire time and told her he could see her. When I went to UPS to review this, I spoke with Joe. He looked up the receipt, and said that the package was probably not delivered within the promised time frame, because the location had been flagged for fraudulent activity. If this is true, my mother should have been cautioned at the very least, but it also would have been a good time for UPS to intervene. If the location was NOT flagged for fraudulent activity, UPS simply did not do their job, and my mother is entitled to a refund for the difference between one and two day delivery. I feel they took advantage of an elderly person by taking these funds from her KNOWING she had been scammed. I was hoping UPS would review this matter with me, and issue a courtesy refund based on the nature of the request, and that a senior citizen trying to live on an extremely limited/fixed income had been scammed. They do not care about their customers or their community. My attempts to reach a conclusion with this store include 4 phone calls, ne voice mail, three texts to Joe's mobile phone, two visits to the store, and three email. This has spanned more than 60 days. I gave them plenty of time, and took into consideration heavier work load during the holidays. When I visited the store today, Joe was not there. I was referred to "Dan". This location will not tell you their name unless you ask, and refuse to give their last name. Dan immediately refused to work with me and turned me away. He called the person in line behind me up to the counter for help. I asked Dan why he was helping someone else in front of me when we were not done with our transaction. His response was to put his hand in front of my face and call the next customer again. I asked him why he wouldn't help me. He said he didn't know the details, so he would not work with me. Ii told him I was waiting to explain the situation to him, or if he didn't want to talk, would he please read the three emails that had been sent to the stores general email address. He put his hand in my face again and said "I don't care". I asked him if he didn't care about customers. He re stated " I don't care". I tried again to get him to help me (it was my turn in line) and he put his hand in front of my face and turned toward the other person waiting. I was the only person in the store when I walked in, and the other person came in a few minutes later. I asked him to listen to my request or read the emails and help me. He said "I don't care to know the details". I asked again for help, and he said "it sounds like you have a beef with Joe". I don't have a "beef" with Joe. I have a "beef" with this stores involvement with aiding an elder abuse scam, and/or simply gauging an elderly person with a delivery fee, and then NOT delivery as promised. read more

Never recieved my refund for the Amazon package I returned through this store . Couldn't call to get an update . Save your time

I came in end of Feb to return 2 phones to Verizon. However they sent me 1 box/shipping label and ur staff warned me that my phone carrier won't credit me back unless I ship them in "separate" boxes. So I called Verizon to confirm & they admitted they forgot to send extra shipping label(s) for EACH phone. I was so frustrated! But grateful for EDNA for being accurate and sympathetic to my needs. I cannot tell you how stressed I was and she calmed me down with her confidence, friendly/professional vibes. THANKS for helping me out in a desperate time of need. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Literally the worse customer service I've ever encountered. Came in on a Saturday at 3:32pm to get live scan and was told by Linda that because they are closing at 4pm and it takes 15 mins they could not help me. I was the only customer there and another associate even told her that he can help me real quick "if she wants". Her exact words were "no we have too much to do" Excuse me?? what happened to customers being the #1 priority?? I needed to return an item I purchased through Amazon and I had to utilize this store to do it. I was not greeted by the man working at counter. As I explained that I had a return he seemed frustrated and did not offer assistance even after I told him it was the first time I had visited the store. Not a friendly experience at all. If the business does not like processing Amazon returns they should not offer that service. Linda is extremely slow and not very friendly instead of helping me a soon as I came into the store..... she instead answered a phone after I had already been standing there for a few minutes waiting for her to look up.... she proceeded to help a customer over the phone for about 10 minutes ship out an order...which their card declined and she had to call the customer back..... instead of putting that call on hold and helping the customers currently in the location.... once she finally did help me return 4 packages...instead of quickly scanning my 4 return items... she proceeded to package each item one at a time before moving onto the next item.... it took iver 25 minutes when it could have taken 5 minute.... very frustrating and slightly annoying I try to avoid going to her for help but unfortunately she was the only 1 available because the other register was being used to count cash out and was not open for use read more

I'm on here leaving review because I set my maps destination to the store and saw how poor the reviews were, and though this could not stand. I've been coming to this store for years and have only ever had good experiences. Since Amazon and other businesses started processing returns through UPS I've had ample reason to visit the store. I'm always greeted in a professional and friendly way, and it never takes me more than a few minutes to get in and out of the store. In particular the clerk Mike has helped me on numerous occasions and is just so friendly and efficient. The location always has easy parking and I go out of my way at times to come here knowing the experience will be fast and easy. If this is what you're looking for, go to this store. read more

This location is a hop skip and a jump from my apartment. My recent visit was to ship something overnight. I was pretty anxious about my package, and a little short on time so I was grateful that only one other person was in the store with me. The woman helping me was quick enough and was able to get my package properly tagged, paid and ready to ship in 15 mins or less. I've been here before and have always been able to get in and out. The staff are friendly enough and the store is filled with all your shipping needs. Envelopes, tissue, bubble wrap, boxes, staplers, bows, everything. I will never go back to this store. I bought a tow hitch from Amazon that was shipped via UPS without a box. I went to the store and the person mentioned it required a box to send back, I informed her that the item arrived without a box. The lady said they needed to charge $10.00 to put it in a box, I said ok. Then she informs her helper just to add more tape to the item. I was like, what? I get there by 2pm wait for 10 min in line only to be time I have to wait 30 minutes because the only person working there today hasn't gone to lunch and she's there saying she's technically in her lunch. I was in desperate need to return some books from Amazon. Luckily for me, I found this store near school. It's a spot that's hidden from the rest of them which I appreciate. This means this particular branch doesn't get too busy. Upon entering, I was greeted by a woman who immediately asked me if I needed assistance. Sure enough I did. I asked her if they was the place where I can send my return. She answered my question with knowledge and kindness. It was as simple as that. She took the package. And I was on my way. How efficient it all was. They sell manilla folders, scotch tape, cards with pictures of puppies on top, and they even have a computer that can be used to what I presume to sign up for membership, print out something, etc. They have great hours too. They open at 7:30am and close at 6:30. But as with the USPS, it's closed on Sunday. read more

I have been using this location of the UPS Store since 2008, when I first moved to Concord. I have seen a lot of different staff come and go through the years. One thing that is consistent is. they often have very polite and kind capable ladies on staff. The latest two people I met working there are Lacey and Edna. Very polite, very quick and capable at their job. They took good care. They completed my purpose for visiting, quickly and efficiently, with a smile. They mentioned that people often only use Yelp to review their business when there is a problem. I encourage people to use Yelp when a person or a business deserve to be recognized for being good at their job as well. I think it's equally important, if not more so! So thank you Lacey, and thank you Edna for a job well done. My visit was quick and handled fully in a few short minutes. I saw a few people come and go while I was there. I have used UPS more times than I can even count this year specifically for notary. Anytime I go for notary Cinda has been beyond helpful and compassionate. She takes extra care in the paperwork that she notarizes. The entire team is polite and go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are taken care of in a timely fashion. UPS has increased the price for printing a B&W page to $.20. That is up from $.11 one year ago. The price of a Notary stamp has increased from $5- to $15-. What made me feel scammed is they disconnected the USB port on their printers. Now one must buy compute time in order to print files from a USB drive; adding another dollar or 2 to the cost of printing documents. read more

I only use their printing and faxing services, so I can't really comment on anything else. Parking is super easy out front; this side of the plaza rarely attracts business. The interior isn't huge but the employees are on point and keep the line moving quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they don't charge you per minute for computer usage, unlike their obnoxious cousin FedEx - which forces you to a 3$ minimum. Instead, the fee is based on whether or not you used under/over 10 minutes. Printing is also 1$ per page, opposed to the 1.89 that I get charged at FedEx. However, I believe the cost to fax is the same, at 1.50. Fast, friendly, and cheap services! read more

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would. This place used to be OK. Ever since 11/2018, prepaid packages of significant value that get dropped off at this location have had issues in transit (aka stolen). Luckily these packages have been insured. This is not an isolated incident and has happened to at least 3 different people I know over a 3 month span. I would steer clear and save yourself the hassle and heartache. UPS Corporate has been notified but NOTHING has been done to fix this. read more
