Was looking for a place to get a last minute notary and this location came up on the search list! Came here on a weekday and there was no wait. There were two gentlemen on staff and were very helpful and responsive to our request for a notary. The overall process took about 5 minutes and was very easy and smooth. Given, the document we needed notarized was straight forward and the staff was very efficient at filling out their journal and completing the certificate. I have start my review with complete transparency. I rarely need to go to a UPS store. In fact I just make my way to a standard United States Postal Service office to send packages or to fulfill my basic shipping needs. I came to this location because I needed to send a package overnight. Not only was this location convenient to get to. But I found that there was zero lines to deal with. Even the staff, although there was only two guys, were really helpful and with assisting me with another issue on my to do list. It also occurred to me that I needed to update my US passport and I found out that they take the necessary pictures for it and further helped me to get the rest of the information needed too complete that task. I was in and out in 10 minutes. So for most of us with a busy schedule, that comes in clutch. I do plan on issuing this location more and I appreciate the staff who made things a breeze to deal with. read more

I walked in and there was no wait. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and courteous. It was really a big mistake to send my documents as a package via mail courier when there is absolutely no control with the driver delivering it. The receiving company is opened from 11-3pm. However, the driver came early as 10 am. Naturally, there's no one there. I tried to inform the UPS branch to make a note for the driver about the office hours; or to put it on the door of the office and no need for signature of receipt or give it to the landlord of building next door - it's ALL up to the damned UPS driver. Useless payment. Better to upload my documents and send it via email with attachments. This company is NOT customer-friendly AT ALL. Putting a complaint in their website. read more

These guys were the best part of my day today!!! I'd leave a longer review but even if they are angels, obviously it's a rough day if the ups store is my highlight lol. On the other hand, what if they added to an already tough day?!? But no- they are problem solvers! I no longer dread dealing with paperwork and returns. One warning which is not on them at all- it's on mission so of course be cautious about parking. Again though, they have solutions- there is a minuscule driveway down to a parking lot!!! I came to this location for a livescan after struggling to find one that has decent parking. Coming south of the city has its advantages, and the twin sisters who run this store are attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. If you are tired of waiting in line, this location has a self serve scanner for packages. To the right of entrance beside the display shelf, scan your Amazon returns or packages just follow the screen instructions and drop in the opening on the table. I had a Amazon return when this location opened at 830am and the staff was helping someone and there was another person with an Amazon return waiting I was finished in less than a minute while the guy with the Amazon return was still waiting. read more

The customer service was both friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I needed to pack six bottles of expensive wine to bring back to Houston with me as luggage. They needed to be shipped securely but also at a low cost. Luckily, the "famous" Jason was there to help. He recommended me using a type of Styrofoam case specially designed to transfer bottles of wine. He compared different alternatives (such as bubble wrap or packing peanuts) with costs to see which would fit my budget while keeping my bottles travel ready. Overall if I was to ever need anything shipped in Daly City, I would go to this particular UPS store. The yelp discount was a nice addition as well. read more

I live in the neighborhood but I don't go to this location and prefer to go to Westlake or to Colma for my UPS returns. This is because every time I've gone in here my experience with the staff has been truly revolting. It seems like they are not happy with their jobs and I get the impression that they don't care for the people they serve in the area. They are rude, curt, don't make eye contact with you and since the pandemic have been even more paranoid with their customer service. There is one guy in particular that is the most rude and I believe others have pointed him out in the reviews here. For what it's worth, I'm writing now after at least a half a dozen times of consistent rudeness mainly from the one guy, though generally speaking the service is bad, when I was compelled to go to this site instead of the others in the area due to the weather -- easier to walk than to drive through nasty traffic. I recently had a run in with that fella and I cringed the entire time because he seemed to be particularly curt with the other customers before me. And so he was. If anyone from that management is reading this, you should know by now and by others who that guy is and sort it out. I would be happy if happy if he wasn't there anymore. I'm sure others would too. In terms of regular service -- not bad. It's a small store and generally well kept, though not tidy like the others. I really liked the previous owners of the place. They seemed happy and had a calm demeanor to me and others. The new owners and new workers, not so much. read more

I was going to go to the livescan down the street Certifix 7212 mission st, Daly City Ca, but the very sweet and kind guy who does the livescans wasn't in until 4 pm today. The guy doing my livescan at this UPS was incredibly rude. Today is 2/22/23 and he is a white balding guy with reddish blonde hair. I explained to him that if you're already a teacher, the state usually only requires DOJ. He wanted to argue with me and say "well I do livescan and it depends on the agency". We went back and forth and he was interested in arguing. What he doesn't understand is the STATE sets the requirements for education, and once you have a credential, DOJ is all that's required. I even showed him another livescan from a school district to show him only DOJ was checked. He was shaking and nervous and didn't thank me for doing business there. I finally laughed out loud and said, " Have a good day working". I can't believe how important it was to him to be rude and argumentative with a customer. And what's the point of him arguing about this. He was combative in the conversation and I was surprised by that. I wish him well in his career. read more

Donald (I think is the manager) is the one helped me with notary. Today in the morning I went and greeted with a big smile by Alex and Julian. They deserve a big raise. I've been coming here for over a year for all my StockX shipping. It's a small place but they have free parking in the back if you can't get any on the front street, the staff is pretty laid-back but nice I've never had an issue with any of the guys there. They only have one computer so you might have to wait if you need to use it but like I said never had any issue with any employees and even though the place is small it still works for me. read more

I have had to visit this location several times over the past month for notary services. I have been helped by Donald and Sean and both gentlemen were beyond helpful and patient. The good about this store is the location,customer service,and available parking in back of store but sorry to say the bad is no availabilities of certain size boxes they ask me to check other ups stores and as for emailing them for questions expect to not get a response back there should be more consideration to reply back, you can call in but why have a contact by email on their website when they won't reply back.Plus,I see there is an extra person to help out more likely should have the time to go over those emails people need answers to there questions. FYI-just to add if you do come to this store and can't get parking up front and wind up parking behind the store that is down below be careful when parking in those spaces either facing your vehicle in front or back in you might hit the wall the parking spaces don't have wheel blocks.I actually went too far and damaged my rear bumper and had a $600 damage that I took care of by insurance.I ask the store to get info on who is the owner so I can mention they need to install wheel blocks in those spaces but they told me it doesn't belong to them so I contacted the city and they said otherwise.The person running the store doesn't want to take responsibility of customers concerns! read more
