Let me start by saying that I only feel the need to leave a thorough and in depth review if I truly feel like the employee/company/restaurant/etc has gone out of their way to provide me with either horrible service or excellent service. Thankfully in this case it was EXCELLENT SERVICE! With all that's going on these days with the COVID-19 chaos, my husband and I have been out of work and out of ink lol. So I came to this location to just quickly print some documents out and it immediately became our new favorite store and it's not even because we have any needs for UPS, but the employees ALI and RANA make it worth the visit! Ali and Rana have treated me with the utmost respect, kindness, and awesome customer service since the day I walked in. Although the store is relatively new and the employees are still trying to get familiar with the procedures and such, they give nothing less than 100% effort to do their best to help me out when I need it! It's all smiles when they greet you as soon as you walk in. Extremely polite and sweet when answering questions. They genuinely listen and don't make you feel ignorant if you ask what may seem like silly questions. They both reflect a great attitude and even better customer service for the store and for the company reputation. So much so that I asked if they were hiring lol. Thank you Ali and Rana for making this store feel like my new go to UPS store. I appreciate all the smiles and great service that you've showered me with each time I've come in to the store. First and last time at the store due to horrible customer service by George. I brought an amazon return (open box) and told that it needs to be taped and I need to buy tape. I buy a tape and its horrible quality and wont come apart...meanwhile george is helping a notary with no offer of assistance. A second customer comes on with same issue (amazon return open box) and george offers to tape it for her for $1...but due to lack of customer service and tone she decides to buy a tape for her package and offers me her tape...still no offer of help from George...who is continuing to do his notary. Multiple customers come in after me and the second customer and no acknowledgement by george...mysef and customer finally tape our boxes and ask a few questions about lables and where to ppace our boxes...but its clear george doesnt want to be here, or really help. I will not be returning. I get it, as so all customers, you short handed and workinf hard but a nice tone, helpfulness and a smile isnt too hard. read more

Chanced upon this UPS here on Yelp as it was the closest one to where I live in Granada Hills. The store is newly opened (last Wednesday), it's very clean. Hardly any lines yet, so expect a faster processing and service. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Alcohol and clorox wipes were visible and ready for use in these times of CoVID-19 safety precaution. Congratulations and I look forward to visiting again soon. read more

Just leaving the UPS store, in fact still parked in front because I felt compelled to write a review. This store has been nothing but good to me. All the employees have always been so helpful. However today, Gabriel went above and beyond to help me unload my packages that I was dropping off. It may not sound like a big deal, however at the moment I've got an injured shoulder. I walked in and simply asked to use the dolly and without hesitation, Gabriel asked if I needed some help. I'm a big guy - husky and as wide as a fridge. I'm definitely capable of unloading these 50 lbs. boxes myself. But given my injured shoulder, I welcomed the help. It's little things like this that make all the difference. Thank you very much, Gabriel. I've been coming here all year to drop off my packages. I haven't had any issues with anyone. They are all professional and kind. Rarely do I write a review but I must say, every time I come to this UPS in Granada Hills on Devonshire Ali and Rona are the BEST! I do not live in the area but drive from Sylmar and pass several UPS stores because of their professionalism and willingness to help. They are most pleasant and always have a smile on their face. I returned an Amazon prime purchase in the original shipping box (always free). The man at the Ups store said I would have to pay him $1 to put a 4" piece of tape to close the box. I said it's a free prime return. He said the seller doesn't pay to tape the box. Is it worth losing a customer over a 4" piece of tape? I will not return. read more

The tattooed young man said I could ONLY send it by air, for HUNDREDS of dollars!!! "Can't I send it UPS ground?" "That didn't come up." So I took it to Staples and sent it UPS ground for under $30. Careless and lazy employee. When I got to the store there were two other people in the store so I waited for my turn waiting this woman she didn't seem overly busy in the store but seemed frenzied.When it was my turn she asked how she could help me and told her I had an Amazon return, and showed her the barscan on my phone. When I handed her the box it was taped but noticed a corner that was coming up and asked the young women if she could secure the corner, and was told that would be a $1 for the tape. I was was a bit surprised as I have NEVER been asked to pay for that so I declined. I also did ask politely for a drop off receipt and got an eye roll in the process. I'm not sure as to why this women was so dismissive, but clearly felt she didn't want to be there working and I was imposing. The real kicker was two days later the package I returned came back to me and DIDN'T go back to Amazon. And yes, I know that mistakes happen, but this was careless and part of her job to ensure it was going to the right destination and I clearly told her it was a return back to Amazon. When I got the package back I was a bit surprised and called the store and asked to speak the owner by name and was told I had the wrong #. Then I said that is the owner of this location and was told she had never met him. So then I asked to talk to a manager and after about five minutes on hold got hung-up on. I tired calling back to no answer. I have called several more times and the phone NEVER gets answered. Have been to this store before and they gentleman when they first opened was lovely an polite and very helpful. Now they have someone who clearly doesn't want to be there and it shows. I went to this UPS store with my husband to drop off my package. It was a usps package with a prepaid return label. I have dropped off 3 or 4 packages at this location and each time they have accepted it with a comment that they'll take it but can't give me a receipt. This time the guy who was there told us that he can't accept it. We said but we always drop it off here with no problem before as well as the other by Knollwood and on Nordhoff across Target. He said fine. Then this lady who I have never seen or encountered interrupted and said something to the employee who had already acquiesced but then he turns around and says no they can't take it. So my husband and I drove to the FEDEX KINKO's on Zelzah and Chatsworth in the TJ Maxx plaza where they not only took it but gave me a receipt WITH a tracking number. Friendly and customer centric service. That's all I ask for. So that UPS store that used to be my friendly neighborhood shop has now become a lying, unfriendly avoid at all costs store. read more

Went to store & was charged $12 for a 9oz small box going ground to be received in 7days to Michigan! It seemed pricey for a small box. I made a comment that maybe post office was cheaper. She said no it would be $24. I went online to check the post office rates & they charged $8 for 2days!! Also there is a comparison that states UPS is known for shipping bigger boxes and charge more for smaller boxes. So the cashier lied!!
