Well. I came here to check the recent reviews before I visited this store after refusing to use this location for last 3 years. I see nothing has changed. I have filed numerous complaints with ups and nothing changes so these women must have some kind of hold on the company. I ship 5-10 packages a week, I have to drive out of my way to the one green valley to ship and do my Amazon returns. I visited this store 4 times before refusing to go ever again even though it is a WALKABLE, .2 mile distance from my house! The first time the woman told me I could not do an Amazon return without purchasing something. The 2nd time she refused to accept a damaged package I was returning because it was delivered damaged. 3rd time I didn't even get to interact, I was waiting and I watched the grumpy lazy woman behind the counter, yell at an elderly man who walked very slowly with a cane and could barely open the door for himself - she yelled at him for not having the package sealed and labeled correctly, she didn't offer help she just told she can't accept it and ship it for him, he had a hard time hearing and you visibly see he left with his package confused, I walked out with him - I could not believe this woman treated him this way and she knew I was unimpressed by my glare and sigh at her The last time I went in my roommate and I went in together and again my Amazon package was refused because it was not in package even tho Amazon said it didn't need anything Each time I was denied at this store I went to another store and had ZERO issue with packages. Everyone happily accepted my packages and assisted if needed. I'm a frequent user with Amazon and ups, also a former US Postmaster, I know how and why things are done, so I knew she was being difficult and lazy for her own amusement I finally landed at the store on green valley which is out of my way, but I liked the employees there the best! All other nearby stores I tried were nice, they were most friendly and pleasant, the crazy thing is I let them know at each store I was there because of bad experience at the Horizon Ridge store. Each time the woman was described to me, by the employee, and an emphatic sigh with yes was said, the nearby stores KNOW this is a problematic store and that I'm not the only one who's complained. I frequent this store to drop off packages, send back packages and ship packages. Always super clean, the ladies in there always greet you no matter how slow or busy they are. They are both super helpful with any questions and will ship and pack up whatever you need to send. Zero stars all because of Kathy. She's rude, would not offer any explanation to help me understand why she would not release my package with 2 forms of ID, and a notarized legal document stating that both forms of ID were legitimate. My first encounter with her I was emotional and in tears because I am pregnant, she has no sympathy to want to help someone when they have difficulty understanding why the package won't be released. After my 3rd day in a row of trying to show forms of ID, and change delivery on the My Choice website, she called me a bitch as a I walked out and told me "do not ever come back in this store again. I've visited many UPS locations in Henderson and never had an issue until I went to this one on Horizon. The staff member I encountered was rude, and it felt like they didn't want to accept my package because of the label, even though I've never had a problem with the same type of label at any other UPS store. I went in today, and I've always paid $1.09 for taping. Suddenly, the woman at the front told me it was $2.50--just because she felt like it. When I told her that wasn't the correct price, her response was, "It is now, because I say so." I asked to speak with the manager, but he seemed terrified of her. She admitted I was right, yet still said, "She wants me to charge you that." As a business owner myself, I find this unacceptable. You cannot just change prices on customers based on personal feelings or race. Stop supporting businesses like this. It's no surprise this store already has only 2 stars. This is probably the fourth time I've used this particular store, and I've consistently had issues -- unlike my usual UPS store on Stephanie St. and American Pacific, where the staff is always helpful and professional. Today, I almost had my package denied, even though I've never had an issue like this before. I resell items regularly and know how to properly package my shipments. Yet, for some reason, I was told there was a problem with how my package was taped -- despite there already being tape underneath -- and was charged over a dollar to have it fixed. No other UPS location I've used has ever charged me for something so minor or made an issue out of how my packages were prepared. I had already scanned the QR code, the package was ready to go, and yet I was still almost turned away. The overall customer service and attitude at this location make it clear I won't be returning, and I'll be sure to recommend to friends and family to avoid this store as well. Wow, best experience I've ever had of having to return items. This was one of the easiest processes ever. During quarantine, of course we've been order a variety of items off Amazon (I mean, who hasn't right?!) and occasionally, we made a few mistakes. Like shoes for our dog... She's a DOG she doesn't need shoes... what was I thinking?! Anyway, I had quite a few items stacked up that needed to be returned. To make things easy, I printed off all the codes for returning. The instructions said to find a UPS store near me and bring them in. That they would package all of the items for me, which was even nicer, because let's face it, I don't want to package all those items back up again. #lazy We walked in and even though the woman behind the desk was helping someone else, she was super nice and welcomed us and told us it would be a few minutes. The inside of this store is actually super nice and clean, very organized. They have postcards, packaging items, and more. We waited for a bit and soon enough another woman behind the counter appeared and asked what she could help us with. I gave her all the items and she scanned each of the papers. We were in and out within a matter of 3 minutes maybe? And she was SO nice, too. It was a super pleasant experience. I think from now on, I'll probably select to return items here instead of waiting in the long line at Khols. It was just a super easy and pleasant experience overall. read more

So not only does UPS as a whole like to randomly force your packages to a store, but without any notification of delivery the store will call you in a week to give you 4 hours to be there so take off work or wait 2 more weeks for your shipments. The best part is I just moved here but apparently (which I have not ordered anything let alone created a ups log in) I went on the website an force requested everything to that store. Ridiculous and again no notification so I'm emailing multiple companies because ups tells them it was delivered to my house when it's been stuck at this store. Multiple refrigerated products were ruined. You can call the 1800 number which literally hangs up on you for asking about your package. The frustration just builds I don't understand what's so hard, I live a mile away but I do not have the time to take off work every-time a package gets delivered. Don't ask for a number because you'll gets screamed at an hung up on. The 1800 number only gives you an automated system so not like you can report them anyways. read more

I gave her my package which was worth over $50 and I said should I wait. She told me I could leave if I didn't need my receipt and I stupidly did. PACKAGE WAS LOST! She wouldn't even look on the camera where she would've seen me in an orange baseball cap handing her the package. i have no proof now and all she said is file a claim. I took a package to be shipped via UPS, I had already used a shipping calculator and knew the dimensions (16x17x20 + 12 pounds). The woman told me it would be $33. and some change which was correct. I signed the credit card receipt without reading it and noticed that I was charged $52.63 when I got home. I didn't notice until they were closed so it was too late to do anything about it. Another time I did a 3 order Amazon return and somehow had to pay for those. This place needs to lose their Amazon contract. KINDNESS is NOT something they offer here when asked for help. I frequented this location for years and never asked for help until today. I am disabled who walks very little, with a cane, due to severe pain. Today I had my grand-daughter with me who is not feeling well and asleep in my car. First, I do not spread sickness to others so I asked at the door if they could help me by scanning my phone to process a return needed today. I was told we can't reach that far.When asked if they could kindly take my phone to scan 20 feet from me they all (3) said you need to come in. Again I said I'm disabled, my grand-daughter is ill in car asleep can you please help me this one time? They looked at me like ARE YOU KIDDING? No,you need to come in. I walked away just floored that a small business with 3 women cannot go the extra mile for those who may need the help once and awhile, like myself. SHAME ON YOU. I was just at FedX who was more than willing to help me, same scenario but this return was for UPS. Shame on me for not selecting my return to be at FedX at least I know their willing and able to assist those who may need alittle extra help today. I've always used this store for shipping and returns. But today I walked in with a box that needed a strip of packing tape on one side only. They charged me $2.40 for tape. The $2.50 is the problem. The problem was they weren't being very customer friendly, I would've bought a roll of tape for cheaper, but they were out. Went to the truck and got a box and came back in and was told it had to be sealed. So I borrowed tape from another person in the store and they refused to accept.
