Sorry to say, but really bad service at this store! I have been to three other UPS stores and this one is just off the scale terrible. I had delicate items that they grabbed and crushed when trying to feel what was in it, when they could have asked. The older gentleman did not explain anything that he was doing and then charged me for the little and very slow service he provided. While he was typing in the address he completely stopped working and put his hands over his face. Im assuming he was having a hard time. Then an older lady, Sunny, came over and told me that it would be over 24 dollars to send a box that was barely a pound in weight.I told them I didnt want to send it because that was way to expensive and I got laughed at all the way out the door. So they charged me for the really poor packing job they did and seemingly threw comments at me all the way out the door. I ended up not shipping anything there because it was too frustrating and I didnt want to get stuck paying for anything more. They had such a bad attitude all the way until I walked out the door. Ive never experienced anything like this! I will probably never go back there and I hope something gets done about the poor service here. Friends and family, DO NOT go here. read more

I like how this location is convenient for me. Usually visit this location weekly to drop off packages for my business and the experience has always been pleasant. Despite people having negative experiences with this place, the basic service needs were met for me and that's all I can ask for. I haven't purchased anything or had anything delivered here but shipping out goods in a timely manner is what's important for me and they always accomplish that! read more

I would give this business negative stars if I could. I went there to ship some stereo equipment that needed to be returned to the manufacturer. Spoke to the Korean woman everyone is writing about. She was reasonably friendly and not rude but told me it would cost $114 to ship it back. I reminded her that I had told her I had a prepaid shipping label. She said she knew that and explained the $114 was the charge for a box and wrapping materials they would use to wrap it for me so it would not get damaged. I picked up my stereo system and left as fast as I could. It is sad to see there are people out there who have no conscience whatsoever about ripping others off. I hope she knows bad things happen to bad people who have bad Karma. Simply disgusting. read more

This store gets five stars. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and helped me with everything I needed to do. They greeted every customer that came in while I was there and quickly took care of each request. I will definitely be returning to this store. It was a very pleasant experience! read more

Had a great experience here. FedEx does not ship TVs so I called another UPS location before this one, but they did not answer- when I called this location they answered right away! The store itself is very small, there were boxes neatly piled up in one of the corners but that's understandable. We walked in with our TV and they instantly recognized and greeted me as "the one who called". Service was great, they took down our information, double checked it and took care of the rest within minutes. We shipped our TV on Tuesday and received it on Thursday! That's with the slowest shipping possible, I might add. The way they packaged our TV was amazing. They wrapped the TV (it's about a 40 inch TV) in bubble wrap, placed it securely in a box which they bubble wrapped again, then but our TV in a bigger box filled with foam pieces. It arrived in perfect condition,( unlike our computer we shipped through FedEx- that was broken) and it works like a charm! I will be giving my business to UPS for sure. read more

Horrible customer service. The older female working at this location was extremely rude, I went to pick up a package and she said it wasn't there. I told her I had received a message stating my package was there and she said "the driver delivered it but we don't accept it because we only accept 10 packages per day as a store so even if you have one package we don't accept it" I looked around the store and my package was by the door she did not want to give it to me and wanted me to call UPS to arrange pick up/delivery. She said it wasn't her fault I got a message saying my package was there and to complain to UPS, she made it very clear they have nothing to do with UPS. So why is your store called the UPS store? She would rather have me go home empty handed, contact UPS waste more of my time and money to get my package when it was there. When I finally convinced her to give me my package she sighed and she said you are lucky. It's obvious this lady hates her job (and her customers too) and by reading some of the reviews on here this is how she performs everyday. This lady is either the store owner or the store owner does not care about customer service and thus keeps her employed. Either way will not be returning to this location. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE LOCATION. I grew up in the Korean community in Honolulu, and this office location is run by a mean, unprofessional, and unethical Korean female employee who rips off customers. First time, she charged me double for out of island priority shipping compared to another UPS location I ended up going to the next day (within the same week, both on weekdays so not sure why the price was incredibly different). Then second time, she asked me to buy a roll of tape for $6 just for my box that any UPS store would have taped up for free. When I refused, she told me to "put your card in" so she can charge $2 for the sliver of tape. $2, seriously? Do you honestly need to harass people for $2? This place finds ways to charge you for things because a lot of non English speaking Korean people come to this location. Instead of spreading aloha and supporting the community, they take advatange of vulnerable people. I do not recommend anyone to support such unethical business. read more

I just went there today, 3/10/14. I would give this business zero stars if possible. This particular UPS store is absolutely awful, and I had a horrible experience. I walked in with a printed, prepaid UPS shipping label, and the woman working tries to charge me for shipping supplies! Are you kidding me?? If I ask, UPS will deliver a virtually unlimited amount of shipping supplies to my home for free! The objective of this business is obviously to soak every single dollar out of every single customer they can, while they can, with no regard whatsoever to customer service. UPS Nazis! I used to love this place because it's so easy to drop off pre paid returns, but today they were crazy like a tv sitcom - like Seinfeld's Soup Nazis. I went to drop off 3 light boxes with pre paid return shipping labels. I placed the neatly stocked boxes on the counter. The man repeated shouted at me "One at a time!" At first I couldn't even understand him shouting while he stood there holding the scanner. I said "ok" and he kept shouting. The previous customer who had to haul his several heavy boxes from his pile to the counter to be scanned and back - he stepped forward and took my boxes leaving just one on the counter for the crazy grumpy old man to scan. Old man stands there just holding his scanner and tells me to put the box in the pile across the room. Oh. Ok. Apparently he wanted me to hold my my boxes myself (no adjacent counter space for Customers to place anything), then to place each box under his hand for scanning, take it away across the room, then repeat for each box. All while he stand in one spot holding his scanner and the lady does nothing. What happened to customer service? Got my receipt proving I dropped off the boxes, and calmly told the old lady that this not customer service. They both started yelling at me that they are doing me a service by allowing me to drop off my pre paid shipment, told me that they are privately owned, and to never to come back ..... then yelled at me to take my boxes away! This was all happening while I was walking out the door. They already gave me a receipt, so I left. Surprisingly bizarre behavior.... read more

Yeah. This store is a ripoff. Run by Koreans. Had some wine shipped to me. They wanted $10 more for a forwarded address. The Waialae store didnt charge anything. I can't believe ups allows them to continue to operate. read more

Be careful. This place doesn't have any UPS supplies!! No UPS envelopes, no boxes. Instead, the lady tries to sell their stuff for charge. She was so rude, as previous reviewers mentioned. The young guy is really nice, though. read more
