The employees are friendly, however, I bought two large, package size envelopes and they charged more than the price on the shelf. When I told the employee the sign said a different price, he said "Yah, we've been meaning to change the sign." I asked him to honor the advertised price and he said he couldn't. He also didn't have the ability to enter a random item into the computer to charge the right price. There was no manager on duty to assist. It wasn't a lot of money, but it's the principle. More and more business are using deceiving tactics and I just won't stand for it anymore. So, in the end, I won't be going back to this UPS store, and I hope others won't, either. Inflation has been crazy enough, and stores like this who use these tactics shouldn't be rewarded. read more

I went to the UPS store and got extraordinary service at the Ladera Ranch, CA location. I had 6 large heavy boxes and Rick, an employee, got a cart and brought them all inside for me, without me even asking for help. He took such care and answered all my questions. I have no qualms with any of the employees at store, they seem perfectly helpful. What I do have a problem with is the policy to up-charge a piece of paper if it happens to contain a shipping label on it. It shouldn't matter what is on the piece of paper you're printing, all prints should be equally priced regardless of content. This is nothing more than a cheap tactic to make a quick buck (or in this case 4 bucks) off of their customers. The employees let it slide this time (I appreciate that, +1 star for that) but in my opinion it's unacceptable to have such a predatory policy.. which is specific to this particular store by the way, no other UPS store I've been to has tried this. read more

Pretty much the reviews below sum it up.. THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, and from the owner Mano? I stopped going to this UPS location but unfortunately, I still have to deal with this location and Mano every once in a while.. Good luck trying to retrieve a package for your family, even if you have their IDs.. I literally left them the package till it will be returned back to Amazon and I will order a new one to a different address to I wont have to deal with this location.. They also charge you to put shipping tape for your return, which usually is NOT the case at any other UPS location.. Keep up the BS work guys.. read more

The worst service! I came here to use their notary service and was told that my paperwork wasn't valid for the state of CA and I needed an adendum (different than what my attorney told me over the phone but I went with it - after all, he was the notary!). Of course my attorney was right and the notary was wrong. When I came back to either have it signed (again) or be refunded the $25 that I essentially wasted, the most rude employee told me that my attorney didn't know what he was talking about and "literally every notary in the state of CA knows this is right." I left so irate and decided it wasn't worth arguing. After "eating" the $25, I went to ANOTHER notary and he signed my docs, no problem. Long story long, don't come here for the capable notary OR the customer service. You'll get neither. read more

Jake saved the day for me in spite of the rude manager. Won't mention any names but that guy needs to refrain from yelling at his employees in front of customers! Maybe he should take an anger management class! Jake kept his cool which helped me keep mine. I had to print extremely important time sensitive docs and have them notarized. Mission accomplished thanks to Jake and his ability to organize my papers and guarantee Monday delivery! Five stars for Jake! read more

Patrons beware! I tried to send an international package to a friend in England from this UPS store in Ladera Ranch and they did not fill out the paperwork correctly, so the package was returned. It should be noted that the UPS store charged me $85. They used Stamps Endicia to send the package USPS. When I asked them to help me out they sent me to the post office to get a refund. The post office was able to send my package for $28 but said they can't refund Endicia purchases. I spent an hour on hold trying to talk to them and when they finally answered they said the account is with the UPS store in Ladera so they would need to initiate the refund. When I went back to the store the manager told me they were unwilling to help me. She said the owner is unwilling to give refunds, so apparently this guy is a money grabbing crook unwilling to assist his patrons. I used to go here all the time but will never do so again. Not only do they overcharge $85 vs $28 at USPS but the owner is a total sheister that cares more about a nickel than doing right by his customers. I am out $85 so my only recourse is yelling from the mountaintops as to why people should not give this owner any business whatsoever. I have been a customer since 2010. I noticed there was an ownership transition last year but did not experience any major changes in the service I received. The team there is very friendly and helpful which motivated me to renew my contract with this store. As long as they continue to provide good service, I will keep renewing my contract. read more

The service here is very poor. I rarely give poor reviews, but I was treated very poorly at this store. I came in to have a live scan done with an appointment booked for 11am. I got there on time and when I walked in the person manning the live scan computer was training (he was new). They asked me to come back in 20 minutes. I did. It came time to do my fingerprints and the scans were coming back red meaning they weren't acceptable. I wanted it to be right because I don't want it to be rejected and waste precious time and money. So we kept trying and little by little it was working. Another guy behind the counter came rushing at us and told me that it was fine and I didn't have to keep going. So basically rushing me out. He said if it is unacceptable they will send me a letter. I don't know about you, but I like to do things correctly the first time instead of wasting my time coming back redoing it. He claims they will do it for free if there is a mess up, but I don't trust that is the truth. So disappointed. read more

Yes, these guys SAY they don't carry the FREE self-adhesive UPS sleeves to insert your shipping label into. They want to charge you for tape. What a joke. Luckily for me at the time, the UPS driver had just arrived so I approached him outside. I asked if he had any of the label pouches in his truck. Funny thing is, he walked into the UPS store, went BEHIND the counter and pulled a few label pouches for me. He shook his head when I told him the story. The owner of this store doesn't realize that it's small conveniences like this that make new and keep existing customers. I tell you what, I don't plan on ever doing business with this UPS store even though they are the closest to my house. read more

I left a review a very long time ago for this UPS Store (under different ownership) and I think it is over due for an update. Over the past 20 years I have utilized the services of this UPS Store location. The owner is extremely hard working and cares tremendously about his employees and customers. I have used them for my mail box services, notary services, copying, postage, the works... They are EXTREMLY convenient and a one stop shop for many of your daily needs. The employees are also great and extremely friendly, they also go the extra mile to help their customers. I will continue to utilize this UPS Store's services. Keep up the amazing work. The only complaints I have over heard are the pricing of things, what individuals forget is your paying for a convenience. You do not have to utilize their services. They are running a business and they have to earn revenue just like other businesses. (pretty simple, we work for money, not to for the practice) I feel their prices are EXTREMLY fair for their service offering. read more

Fantastic customer service! I took a large item that needed to be returned to a DIFFERENT UPS store & the 3 young employees stood around discussing all the ways that they couldn't help me because my item was too big & they didn't have a big enough box. I called the Ladera Ranch UPS store & the gentleman (owner I think) said "Of course I can help you! If I don't have a box big enough I'll make one!"
