Had to drop off 10 packages for work. So grateful for the automated doors that open as you approach the store. I would not have been able to carry the boxes and pull a door open. Completely genius. They have a self scanning area, which is so helpful. All my packages have labels on them, all I need to do is scan each one. They were so helpful giving me a flat bed dolly to put my packages on, instead of their large cart on wheels. Which saved my back from bending over to place them inside. Took me just a few minutes to scan everything, and I got my receipt too. Saved me so much time. Fantastic if you have a few packages, or many packages. Having labels on them is great read more

Most HORRIBLE customer service I ever experienced. I went there to print paperwork for my daughters' school project. Their printer wasn't working properly and none of the workers there knew what to do. As a lady was fumbling trying to get it to work, the timer was still going charging my card for computer usage. She came back 3 different times before she was able to get the printer to work and all that was needed was paper refill. The worker Michael had a big attitude and did not want to help at all. I went to him when the girl couldn't figure it out and he said he can't do anything without even checking to see what the problem was. I asked him his name and he said "Go ahead and report me, I don't care." If you don't like your job, Michael, then you should quit. Don't pass your horrible attitude onto the customers!! It's not my fault that you're obviously miserable. UPS, please train your staff on how to work your equipment. Please also let them know not be upset with the customer due to their incompetence. Every time I go into this store, as I am leaving, I ask myself why. I am handicapped and have to sit down to do self returns. NOT ONE TIME has any staff member offered me a chair. The older man that works there is ALWAYS rude. If you don't like people, do not go into the service industry. There is SO much difference between the staff at this location, and, the one in Bee Cave!!! All the employees need to realize, it is there job to help people in their store. Walked in with several returns , phone ready to scan the codes etc. had no clue it was a work for no pay type of situation meaning I scan and bag all my returns... waited in line several minutes not being acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. Since installing the self service option the store is chaotic, unfriendly, and slow. I could deal with the occasional grumpy and unfriendly staff member but now I've had enough. Staff have been told "not to help"even when they have no customers due to the self serve option. Ridiculous. Every time I leave this store, I am shaking my head, bewildered. They clearly have a problem with their training process. Their "associates" never really care. Repeatedly I have caught them lying about what they have done/not done. Today it was a simple request to email me a receipt. The associate claimed he had done so and was irritated when I called for the 3rd time. When I stayed on the phone, his email system clearly rejected the email and he said, well it didn't go "this time". Instead he suggested I just drive back and pick up the receipt. I needed to overnight a bridesmaid dress to one of my friends in Dallas and didn't have anything ready (no shipping label, no box, no packaging, no plan, etc). The gentleman that helped me was SO kind and explained every option I had to ship. They had a way of explaining things as simply as possible in a clear concise way without making you feel like you're an idiot for not knowing how to ship things. He was very quick and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend them, I'm assuming they got new management or something because these reviews don't line up at all to what I've experienced the last 3 times I've been here this year. read more

I happened to go to the UPS store on Lohmans Crossing and there was a big guy behind the counter wearing a wrinkly mask under his chin. When it was my tern (and I was very nervous being there for more than a few minutes) I told them that the mask under his chin was not going to be of any help. His answer was something like: I know, so what. I found that very disturbing since I am an elderly person and they are the ones that should be extremely careful when dealing with elderly people. I spoke to manager about printing label for me, said I would be charged $3 fir printing cost. Did not tell or get angry just asked for owners number. Asked how long for.m a return call said two days. I took a package to be shipped UPS today. I was given a price for shipping and date. When I got home my wife questioned the pricing. A fuel surcharge? Seriously! Oil is at all time low and a fuel surcharge is still in place. 3 other garbage fees were also added. So the $10.58 charged by USP is over $18. I went into this store today to have some documents notarized. I was told by the notary that she would NOT make a copy of the original document I brought in and notarize it. She stated some bogus reason about only being able to watch me sign a document and notarize that she saw me sign it. It's ridiculous that this person is certified to be a notary since she has no clue about her job duties or what it means to notarize documents. I wasted an hour and a half because I had to drive across town to another notary. The new notary had absolutely no problem with making a copy of an original document and notarizing it. The new notary even had special paper that is supposed to be used for copying an original document. I just walked in and noticed the clerk talking to a customer as he's walking away from him. The customer was standing at the copier and the clerk was rudely giving him directives as he was walking away. The customer just looked over at him in awe. He clearly needed assistance that the clerk was not willing to give. As for myself...the clerk was less than friendly. He seems to be put out with his job. Disgusted is a better word. He clearly shows no customer service and is anything but friendly. A smile would be nice. Maybe a thank you. Anything. No reaction out of him other than he would rather be somewhere else. Really impressed with this UPS location. I had two packages to drop off at about 9:40am on a Saturday, but this location wasn't supposed to open until 10am. I stopped into the UPS store because I was not sure where the closest Fedex location was. I like Fedex better because I have a corporate account *wink*. The store itself is very clean and organized, unlike some of the mail stores I have visited in the past. I had already packaged my gift so all I needed to do was fill out a form. Once completed, the guy behind the counter began weighing my package and quoted me a price. It was going to cost $75. Ouch. He saw my reaction and asked if I wanted to send it another way. I said no, but asked if we could shave the price a bit? He said yes, but he needed to know if the contents inside could go in a smaller box. I said yes. So, he repackaged my gift in a smaller box that he sold me for about $5. When it was all said and done, he saved me about $15, which I thought was cool because he could have said and done nothing. I consider this to be excellent customer service and I will likely return the next time I screw up. read more

I walked into this store expecting to be stressed and anxious as I normally am when trying to figure out how to get all of things things I've been stressing over everything notarized, copied, faxed, etc. The whole crew quickly , kindly , and efficiently explained the process to me and helped me with every step. I felt like less of an imbecile and was relieved that they took the weight off of my shoulders and just got the job done. The were all very kind and friendly and I walked away having a better day than it started. I noticed as well while I was waiting in the store that they were kind and communicative with each other, and kept an eye on every customer in the store to step in and help without having to be asked. The store was also very clean, everyone was wearing their masks properly and covid precautions were in place as well as being used and not ignored as some people do. Would give 0 stars if possible. Had a package to return. I had been furnished with a return label, emailed to me from the shipper. Took to the Lakeway store and was told that I needed to call for a pickup. I resisted a little and asked if they could accept it and was told no. I just got off the phone with UPS customer service who apologized for my inconvenience. They told me it should have been accepted and a pickup would cost $5 to15. Based on other reviews I should have expected I would have to deal with incompetence. I suggest looking for another location if you want/need to ship UPS. read more
