I have been using UPS for mailing purposes for the past 6 years or so. Today, I went to renew my mailbox which is due for renewal January 1st, 2024. They would not honor the Yelp check in for 3 free additional months. They claimed that the free additional months are only for new users. This is strange to me because every year that I've used their mailbox services. I've gotten 3 free months on top of what I normally pay for. This was really disappointing, given that costs have increased over the years as well. Even so, I still renewed my mailbox because I need it. Once the receipt printed out I noticed that it said the mailbox renewal time is from September 2024 through September 2025. The year 2023 has not even ended yet, it is not 2024 and my mailbox is due for renewal January 2024. Therefore, the renewal date duration should actually be January 2024 to January 2025. I don't understand how the system made an error but it says that I renewed it for September 2024 through September 2025, which is obviously some type of weird system error. I brought it to the attention of the staff and we did not find a resolution. So even though my mailbox is expiring on 1/1/2024, which is in a few days, they were not able to fix the discrepancy. This is frustrating because that means I have to come back and fix the issue within a few days. Otherwise my mailbox services will technically expire/end. As a loyal customer, and as a paying customer, I felt like they should have handled it differently and found a resolution. I also feel like they should honor their Yelp check in because nowhere on Yelp does it say for new users only. It only states if you check in, you get 3 free months. I'm super frustrated today and we will see what happens when I return in a few days to try to renew the mailbox. read more
