I needed to ship out Christmas presents that I had wrapped, so I drove over to my local UPS store to get some help doing so. I frequent this location a lot and get pretty typical experience, but on this particular day and the individuals working were so amazing, I had to leave a review. Johnny and the gentleman working with him on December 18th at 4pm (sorry I didn't get his name too before leaving) were absolutely amazing. Johnny is who specifically helped me and my partner out - he sized all our boxes, ensuring to take into account that we were shipping electronics and wrapped presents, and added plenty of padding to ensure everything was secure. "No one wants to receive broken presents" as he noted and I can't tell you how much we appreciated him taking the extra care and attention to ensure everything was secured. Needless to say, this took time and a line of folks started to come in, which is where his coworker came into play. He was just as courteous and worked through the line quickly while we were being helped. Tis the season for shipping and these two definitely are who you want helping. They were a dynamic duo and really showed care for what they do. Worth every penny for the assistance and service we got. Happy to say presents arrived on time and wrapping perfectly intact too! This is a neighborhood staple and gem something we need and serves the community so easily. It can get packed, California jam packed but it's okay they move pretty quickly in here. The girl working the front with the blonde hair in a bun is consistently rude. Today she rolled her eyes at me when I said I was shipping a package but had a QR code because apparently that means I'm not shipping. A simple misunderstanding that she was unreasonably angry about. She's very confrontational even with her coworkers from what I've seen. Every time I come here she is unpleasant and rude. I'm always afraid to say anything though for fear she'll mess with my packages. Hoping someone can talk to her about this. read more

Terrible customer service. Just called this store to inquire about an Amazon return I dropped off this morning because when I went on my Amazon app, it showed that one of my refunds of the two packages that I dropped off has been issued, but another one has not so I picked up the phone and decided to call them. A male answered said hello and I started speaking back. I got as far as "hi I have a question I dropped off an order" before in the middle of my talking he says "let me place you on hold" and proceeds to place me on hold without hearing my reply. At that point all I could think is this man really in the middle of me talking cut me off to say let me place you on hold and then just push the button without even hearing what the customer had to say or being considerate to the fact that he just answered my phone call and I was in the middle of speaking. Zero customer service skills as he didn't even let me finish speaking he didn't even hear my concern and then when I had to hang up and call back I can't even dial through it says user busy. That is unprofessional and rude. read more

I always have a great experience coming to this UPS store. They are very nice and patient with each customer. I noticed that some customers are very impatient! They don't want to stand in line because they feel they don't need to. Today this one customer told the UPS employee that he only needed to drop off a package. There was 3 of us standing in line waiting patiently to drop off our packages. So the customer in seeing there was 3 people in line told the UPS employee that he usually just drops his packages on the counter and leave. The UPS employee to avoid any problems informed the customer that it's fine to leave the package on the counter, he even asked the customer if he needed a receipt which the customer replied NO and left! I could probably have done the same thing but I want to make sure my package is sent out and to get a receipt. Good job to the UPS employee for keeping his calm and patient demeanor with all his customers including the rude inconsiderate ones. I recommend this place for all your shipping needs! read more
