One of the worst experiences I've received at a UPS store I went to another UPS store in a different town nearby I need to get fingerprinting done had an appointment for got one of my ids and was told I can get it without an appointment at another store this place told me I needed an appointment and that they're independently owned and so they have different procedures. I come to this location on a weekly basis and all the staff (except for one) are very helpful and always happy to see their customers. They get to know their regulars and each time my visit is quick and easy. Depending on the line, I'm usually in and out in less than 5 minutes. They go beyond just shipping services and Amazon returns- you can get a variety of things printed, from large posters to small business cards and everything in between. This is also the spot to go if you need a livescan fingerprint done. The remodel made this spot look modern and beautiful. read more

They have no knowledge of anything at this location, I went in to return and price check but you can't do that if they have their heads up their a's The girl with the faded as pink hair needs to READ UP ON HER JOB. If I could give this place a zero star review , I would. No, I'm not a disgruntled customer . It has taken ALOT for me to write this review . I've compiled a number of reasons not to recommend this place . 1. Staff is rude/not helpful. Word in town is that it's mainly due to poor/rude management . It makes sense because managers set the tone on how a business is run. 2. Need tape? Make sure you carry your own, because they will not give you even a small piece without charging the customer . 3. Need a notary ? Well their notary services are awful and when you ask for it , it's like you've asked the employee to donate their organs ... There is a positive to this experience though ( yes believe me there is) . I've found other businesses that are like little hidden gems ! Shout out to the following businesses: 1. Office Supply Express - +1 (209) 826-8751 They print , fax , provide notary services and sell custom things for a business or for gift ideas . Their prices to print , fax and scan are far superior to those of the UPS store .They also work with FEDEX - less expensive to mail packages through them than ups . 2. I frequent this location any time I need anything office related done. I have mailed several Amazon returns there, had copies made for organizations I volunteer for, I've had yard signs made, faxed documents to my bank and other businesses, and also have used their notary services several times. The first time I went to use the notary services I didn't not have my current ID so I had to go get a new one and come back, the staff explained all I needed to do and have to have my paperwork notarized. I took a box to the store. They asked what was in it. When I told them it was a rifle butt stock, they refused to give me a label to send it UPS. I asked why. The lady in charge said it was against policy to ship that type of item. Not once did she ask to open the box see what was inside. I called the same store in Merced. The guy there said he had no problem with sending my item out. I hope that this lady in Los Banos was just knieve about there policies. Absolute worst service in Los Banos dealt with a invitation print order and the woman who helped me was absolutely horrid, extremely rude, gave me attitude. Even rolling her eyes as i asked question not interested in earning the business but i think that's because i interrupted her time with her cell phone.... I sent a package out and UPS had problems with delivery. Called the 800 number and got no help there because the calls are routed to the Philippines. Finally spoke to someone at a San Jose hub and she stated it was there error. Went back to Los Banos store where Stephanie, the manager went above and beyond to get clearance to resend my package at no cost to me. My experience with this location first time visiting, I needed a label printed out for I have no printer at home and I was charged $2.50 to email them a label and print 1 sheet out! Most places charge.15 cent for a copy but $2.50 fee and a copy fee on top. read more

Had a package that my girl needed to send out for an eBay sale that was running the one week late when she went out of town. I brought the fragile ceramic piece in there and they wrapped it up and boxed it shipped it out immediately. The customer was so happy that it showed up perfectly wrapped and in one piece that they were not even upset at all about it being late. The Staff here is fast and efficient, they address you as soon as you're in line and I've never waited more than 5 minutes when there is a line. They are very helpful & patient with customers who aren't computer savvy by way of printing off your phone or home computer, they always help out. The place is always busy but runs organized and smooth. I think the a Staff is a quiet group but very friendly and the owner/manager has done well in running this business, I give her a lot of credit cause we need this store in this town to run our business too and it makes it very enjoyable to work together with no hassles. Only gave it a 3 - used the computer & needed assistance, was seen from a employee and told me she would be right with me & waited a extra 10 min still no one... The young lady was busy with another customer who came in after me and so I sat there for a extra 10 minutes (no other employee's in sight) & I left! I wasnt upset at the young lady who was trying to balance all the customers coming in & helping the one she was with, I just informed her I would be back when its more convenient so she doesnt rush the customer shes with just to help me... This store should definitely get the year award. I think all of their staff goes the extra mile to help their customers and in a town like Los Banos this is very noticeable. When I use to have my mailbox their I loved it they were cheerful and promt! I must bring this up; I believe it was the owner who had stayed xmas eve during closed hours to make sure everyone got their mail that to me was amazing because I got to give my fiancé his gift xmas day rather than the day after. I shipped a package from this store and then had trouble tracking my package. I contacted the store and then the staff informed me that they were not UPS and as a result could not help me locate my package. I was directed to call UPS. When I called UPS directly the supervisor informed I should have been given my package information at the store I shipped my package from,.... Long story short I would NOT recommend shipping from this location. I will never use this store again. This is just another example of why I often elect to take my business outside of LB.
