Ran in there 3 minutes before closing last night, and they were so NICE. John helped me and he made what is usually a chore an really pleasant experience. I had two parcels which he got labeled and ready to go quickly. He was very efficient, professional and really easy to work with. These are my go to guys from now on. This is a great UPS location! The people are so friendly and approachable, even when it's crazy busy, which is always appreciate. They have a small parking lot (maybe about 4 parking spots) or you can find street parking in the area. If you are going during rush hour, I'd suggest parking in the surrounding neighborhoods since there are a lot of cars on that Main Street. I've used a range of their services: PO Box rental, passport photos, notary work--you name it. Parking can be tight (it's Manhattan Beach, after all), and street parking is only good until 3:00PM--but those are small trade-offs for the kind of experience you get. I know there are a lot of positive comments below around the customer service when things have gone well at this store, but I believe, as an operator myself, this experience is important because when things go wrong, the true integrity of a business shines. I was in Mexico on vacation when my brother tragically died. As a result, I had to fly immediately to Myrtle Beach and drive to Cincinnati for the funeral and had my neighbor in Manhattan Beach ship an expensive suit, shoes, belts tie, shirts, medicine and contacts urgently (~$5k of value) from my apartment. He took the package to this UPS store in Manhattan Beach on Friday, May 20th and paid $155 for 2-day air given the urgency even though this rate is crazy for a 10lb package (see Shipment Receipt). By Sunday, May 22nd the status on the package was still "Label Created", which was weird ("see other attachment"). On Monday, May 23rd, my executive assistant ("EA") called the store to inquire the whereabouts and a female employee disclosed that 2 other packages were "lost" on Friday as well at this store! The UPS employee took down her number, and Mike worked with my EA over the course of a week to try to find the package. I totally get that packages can get damaged in transit, but when a package is "lost" and / or "stolen" (and there are 2 other packages with this same outcome) at the UPS Store, you would think Mike would have empathy and live UPS customer values for his store to make this right (while fixing their internal operational deficiency for future customers). On the contrary, he was very resistant to do the right thing for his store's deficiency and communicated that he will only reimburse $100 for their operational deficiency at the store that forced me to not only lose $5k of personal belongings but forced me to buy a new suit in Cincinnati for the funeral. Buyer beware for the service you will get when things go wrong with this UPS store, notably in the context of a terrible situation. read more

Michael, John and Idris are the men that keep this little store moving. All three are very polite and keep their customers happy. This was a very nice visit. I've never been to this location. It's pretty small and so is the parking. There's a 24 minute meter right in front of the store but you can also park in the back but there's only 3 parking spots plus disabled slot. It's very tiny so my advice is to be careful when leaving. read more

Popped the trunk, got my unusually sized package, walked in, got greeted "HI!" Package got scanned, "Would you like a receipt?!" Sure, why not. "Have a nice day!" This is a good UPS store. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I typically just need to drop off online returns at this store, but the staff always knows what to do and I am in and out very fast. The only issue with this store is the parking lot. This is no one's fault at the store. It was poorly designed and this is a warning to avoid using the parking lot during a busy period because you may have a hard time. If it's a busy time do not go in the lot, just park on Sepulveda here is the problem, the parking lot is small and there are only 4 spaces and 1 handicap space. The is only one entrance/exit into the parking lot and it T's into Sepulveda. If there are more than 5 cars at once, someone is the jerk and blocking everyone in. The person cannot easily just move his or her car a little, since that does give enough space for the other cars to move. He or she needs to move their car all the way back on to Sepulveda to give enough space for any car to move out. Thumb down to the parking lot planner. You had one job. To add to this problem when Sepulveda is busy , its super hard to find an opening to pull back onto the street. read more

It was quick and easy. They 'accept accounts' If anyone is wondering. Parking sucks. There's no private lot. Parking on Sepulveda is always a pain. South Bay drivers just are the complete worst. Coolest UPS store in the south bay. They don't get dramatic that you don't have the label printed. They let you email it to them and they print it for you. The package bags (for returns) are a dollar or two for the small ones. Yes the rear parking can get dicey but that is not too often. Just the fastest, easiest, UPS store around. Eversince I signed up for Amazon Prime membership, I have been frequenting this UPS store almost on a weekly basis. Amazon did EXCELLENT by partnering with UPS because had it been with USPS....I would think they'd lose a lot of customers. I buy everything from Amazon. If I'm paying for Prime....might as well take advantage. This means that often I'd have some items to return or exchange. So I'm here a lot. I do business which requires international shipping, I've gone to FedEx, USPS, DHL and UPS, based on pricing and timelines, UPS came out on top. So naturally I started visiting various UPS locations, I've tried quiet a few locations, the ones in DTLA to the few in the SouthBay, this location is BY FAR the best! It stole my heart. Super-be customer service skills, plus they are looking out for my pocket and suggest ways to save me mula! I LOVE that! I was leaving town this week and I was worried two of my packages wouldn't arrive in time. I'm giving this UPS Store five stars, which I think is too few. The staff here is exceptionally attentive and have been extremely helpful whenever I have questions or requests. I needed to have my mom's mail forwarded to my mailbox here and they always look out for it and even posted her name to my mailbox on their side of the store in order to make sure that all staff knows where her mail is going. Whenever I receive packages, if they see me coming into the store, they get my packages out for me; I don't even need to ask. They really pay attention to details. They are always helpful and I feel like they genuinely care about the customers. I moved a little farther away from their location and it would be easy to receive my mail at another UPS Store close by, but because of the excellent customer service at the Hermosa Beach location, I won't go anywhere else! read more

I am moving over a holiday weekend and was a little desperate about gathering supplies. This store went above and beyond to help me and were incredibly kind - on a holiday and after a very busy time of year for them, no less. I've done everything from fingerprinting to shipping masses of presents to buying supplies at this store over the years. They have always been courteous, kind, and made things as easy as possible.
