Jackson was awesome. Shannon ought to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. I was sent to drop off a return and a label was forgotten. He helped me get it emailed to the store and print it. It was in a poly bag, but awkward and the label wouldn't apply well. He grabbed a used amazon box from the ground that was left by someone and put it in real quick for the label be properly affixed, efficient, and faster to get to the next customer after me. Shannon took it upon herself to chastise Jackson in front of me saying "Where'd that box come from? Did you give him that? Jackson responded yes. Shannon said "we don't do that! And don't do that again!" As a manager, I'd keep Jackson and train Shannon if she's a trainer. Rules/policies are great, for when they support efficiency, speed, good order/discipline and ensure customer satisfaction. Jackson critically thought on his feet and maintained efficiency, speed, accomplishing the job well, and getting onto the next customer. Shannon, learn to ask other employees "why" they do what they do instead of assuming the worst from the get go, and provide correction away from the customer's face if the "why" isn't valid or justifying breaking a policy. Discipline to policy is great, but not when it's at the expense of the company or customer's. read more

I'm leaving a review for UPS store number 3067 12th Avenue Rd., Nampa, ID. I have been a faithful customer to the UPS store for at least 10 years and today at 4:26 PM. I had a unpleasant experience of meeting Jaden and Jackson, they proceeded to treat me like a complete fool, smiled and laughed at me when I needed help on my Amazon return Teresa witnessed the entire thing ,as they hid in the back she called them out to help us. I have never been so disappointed in the store. I hope the management realizes the young people have zero respect and no customer service skills-whatsoever. I hope that this gets handled because this is the store I used to ship all of my Christmas gifts. I will contact the manager And the owner. These young men should be reprimanded. read more

Visited on 2/13 at around 1pm. Several people in line. Waited about 15 minutes with 3 employees working. One employee was just walking around doing nothing but yelling out to everyone in line to use the Amazon self serve scanners for returns. Why she wasn't doing anything, I have no idea. I finally got to the front of the line and asked the kid about needing a notary. He quickly told me the notary was not available (on some kind of break). But he would check if someone else could do it. He returned telling me, no that the other person was taking care of IT issues and couldn't do it. I checked well on their website regarding special times, special hours and nothing was noted. I asked the kid what hours was the notary scheduled? He said they always have one available. I said but you don't now. It was a classic kid that has zero care or concern or even understanding about the fact that a customer came to a place that advertises notary service and that no one was available to do this and he didn't understand that there was any sort of problem. He felt that this was some sort of special issue but that was the time I need to get a document notarized. He said I could come back some time later. Real helpful. Not whatsoever. Rude, inefficient and unhelpful is mostly what you get here. I have been in so many times when they can't get their systems to work. I have seen employees just standing or walking around doing nothing with 10 people in line. THE most inefficient place on the planet. Go anywhere else to do business. There must be a better run UPS store somewhere in Nampa or nearby. I will search it out or find somewhere else to do Amazon returns. I found a much more efficient place for notary thanks to a very helpful lady waiting in line. Hopefully, I will never need to step foot back in this store. It is also hilarious that the horrible reviews of this store seems to get a response from someone. Why spend all the time responding and apologizing instead of just operating much better? Since the store changed hands they have created completely revamped the inside got rid of all the crap got rid of the employees pot smokers and people who never wash their hair. The staff is Young friendly and helpful I brought in a whole bunch of things that needed to be mailed to next of Ken and they help me box it up from the multiple boxes I brought it in and even though it was busy the line went quickly the only person's name I can remember is Savannah and she was great the other guy was great as well but they're well staffed for Christmas and return Season as well they all seem to be happy to be there they have a quick Kiosk for you just want to go in and scan your code for Amazon or UPS and drop it in the slot love that makes its own little print out. read more

This store manager said they would look into a matter of my concern of over charging me (an over charge of approx. $30) for a package shipped. After sending a copy of the receipt, I never heard back from the manager. It appea4s to me that the management is not concerned about this matter. I have had printing done for the last year at this ups store on 12th in nampa, and i could not have asked for better product or service. The printing manager, nathan, is simply terrific. He is an artist, and knows how finished printing projects should look. He is able to produce a beautiful product, whether it's a resume, business card or even a poster you've designed using your own photos or artwork. The work is finished quicky and at an affordable price. Nathan lets me know if he sees a better way my project might look by tweaking it here of there if i want. Everytime I have left it to his discretion, the result has been just great! I see the last review posted on this site before mine, is not so great. It was posted here about a year ago, and looks to me not to be quite accurate from the experiences i have had at this UPS store. Anytime i have called to speak w/the store manager, she, or someone with authority, has always returned my call. They are very customer oriented! read more

I'm not sure why this location is so poorly rated. I've been in quite a few times over the last couple years and have never been anything but impressed. The wait times are pretty normal for a packaging and shipping shop. The people are a heck of a lot friendlier and more helpful than at some of the other places around town. I, like most people spent a bit of time here over the past holiday season and I truly felt that they went above and beyond to get people in and out with a smile on their face. They even set up a coloring area for the kiddios so that they're not running around like a bunch of crazy kids. Very smart! I've also had need of a notary a few times in the last couple months and these guys are true professionals. The prices are very fair and the practice is streamlined into a very quick in and out procedure. I cannot stress enough that the current low rating is a very poor reflection upon this business. I get that stuff happens and everyone has a bad day but 2*?? I think not. read more

Terrible customer service from both Holly and Allen. Holly called me to finish my claim and be reimbursed for a package that unfortunately didn't get delivered, Holly had to be rude when I pointed out that the address being sent to was wrong. I understand that the wrong address got confirmed wrong, but the pure disrespect from Holly because of the question was so uncalled for. I then got transferred to Allen who was no better. He called me a Mama, which is so disrespectful, so I asked him not to call me a mama. You can see from my name it is a male name. Of course, after saying to not call me a Mama he got an attitude and said he didn't learn to not assume someone was male or female in Business school Then as we finish our conversation he calls me mama again. I again said he is disrespectful and I asked to not be called Mama. He then laughed and continued to be very disrespectful to me and continued to assume I was a female. I was surprised at the comments about bad reviews of this store... I am in agreement with the negative and I'm generally a very positive person. However, this store is awful... over the past couple of years I have tried them again and I am now at the point I won't go back. The employees were in general polite but.... it's not just about being polite. Every single time I've gone in the minute you open the door the smell of body odor is extremely pungent and the store is a mess. Garbage and paper dropped on the floor is not picked up and the one young man in general appeared and smelt as if he had not changed or washed his uniform in months as well as being very wrinkled. A poor appearance and neglect of yourself and personal appearance is extremely unprofessional as well as yes, that odor being offensive. Clean it up people, clean yourselves up! read more

Yeah, so I'm not shipping through UPS again anytime soon and I certainly wouldn't use this location. I went here to ship something that I had prepaid for. I used an old box I had that didn't have the original contents in it. Because the box had a white and black diamond on it, they refused to ship it unless I bought a box. First of all, no one that doesn't work for them knows what those stickers mean, second, the shipment cost that was already paid was based on the size of the box, and third, I'm not paying for a box when I have plenty at home. They weren't nice about this at all, BTW. They were downright rude to me from the word go. When I asked about just cancelling the shipment, the manager actually tried to get me to believe I had to go to the hub! I called and all I had to do was go online and cancel it. They were just all out rude and I won't ship through them anymore. The funny thing is that they lost the money on the shipment because of a box. Whatever. read more

I've had many UPS Store experiences since their inception but none like this. The place was clean, smelled like new paint (love that smell by the way!) and the staff were beyond friendly. It's no surprise my grandparents know everyone in this store (grandma ships a lot of stuff apparently). I was shipping off the bread I procured from Kneady Bee because I didn't want to deal with all that on the plane (nothing worse than TSA Squished Bread!). Mike, the owner helped me and made the process an enjoyable one. He started off by asking if I was in the system and I said no thinking he meant his local system and not knowing that I was indeed in his system since I've been in a UPS Store before. He found my info and used that to speed up the process. I was able to send it off for a reasonable price and it got to its destination in two days! Very impressed with this store and I know exactly where to go when I want to ship more goodies out instead of UFC TSA Style! read more

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful at getting me the best rate. The only drawback is the rude and unprofessional girl working there. I was in the store today 11/19/18 and there were 2 people helping and there was a line of about 5 people. One of the staff appeared to be new and needed assistance which she was getting from the other counter person. Effectively making it one person helping. There were two more staff in the store. The guy who works there (manager?) just said he needed to work on something else and left the long line of people instead of jumping in and helping when there is an obviously new employee who needed help. Not to mention leaving customers waiting. I never feel like the customer is a priority in this particular store. The greeting from that same guy is gruff and offhand "We'll be with you as soon as we can". I've had similar experiences when I've been in and never look forward to the times I have to use the services at this UPS location. read more

I've used UPS stores in several states. This store has an air of you are inconveniencing me by being in my store. Both of the times recently that I wanted to drop a package that was already pre-labeled they couldn't just take the package I had to wait in line that has never happened at any of the other UPS stores I've used in Colorado Phoenix or California. This was the worst customer service ever experienced! When entering the store, which I frequently do, just in Meridian and not in Nampa. I was just dropping off a pre labeled package, usually I just drop it off and walk out. The gal told me I needed to wait so she could check it in. Which was completely fine, I had no problem with waiting. Until she started complaining about the guy she worked with, saying he never comes out the back and she refuses to work hard. So the customer in front of me (that she was currently helping) screams, "why don't you come out help your coworker?" The guy came out angerly frustrated, as it was plastered on his face, as if it was the inconvenience for him to work. Come to find out, hes the owner son! Clearly, he has an attitude like hes had the world handed to him & clearly feels entitled to act however he feels. He told me I had to tell him exactly what I was shipping, I told him no I did not! He proceeded to tell me he doesn't have to help me if I'm not going to tell exactly what I'm shipping. So after going back-and-forth with this guy, with him being rude and raising his voice to me. He says so quietly "It's not my fault you're an idiot". My head spun! I could not believe this guy thinks he could say that to anyone! That is beyond disrespectful to anyone, let alone a customer. He just kept saying it was against the law for me not to share it with him. However, I called the UPS corporate office and they told me that he has no right to ask that. They were so embarrassed by the way that he acted they kept just apologizing over and over. I like UPS but I really question ever setting foot in another store again. I'd almost rather use fedex our USPS regardless of the time and money it costs to use them over UPS, I'd pay it just to not support a company that will employ somebody as demeaning, disrespectful, and entitled as that man was. read more

Very rude and not helpful. I thought that people cared about their jobs and wanted to make happy customers but not Kaylee. Kaylee signed off on my package to say that it was in her possession and at her location, it was not. This wasn't a big deal maybe she is just bad at her job but still a nice person, WRONG!!! My wife asked her "when will the package that you already signed off for be here?" 6 says Kaylee, my wife asks "so you guarantee that?" No, I don't take responsibility for that. Yes you did you signed for it!!! Do your job!!! Also isn't signing for mail and then not delivering it some type of mail fraud? a felony I thought but no at this location you can do a horrible job, take no responsibility and commit mail fraud and still be employed. read more

Today at 1045 am went to the store to mail off 2 pre-paid packages. The man behind the counter asked me what was underneath the packing paper, a box, then lectured me that my package was not acceptable due to the brown packing paper and the packing tape that could get hung up on other packages. When I pointed out to him that the tape was secured all around the package he said my package look suspicious and he couldn't take it!!! My package was a small box, 6"x6"x3", 1. Class Mail!!! This is the second time I have been to the store and the second time I had this encounter with the same individual. read more

We used to go to the UPS Store in Kuna, ID when we lived there and always had a great experience in that store. When we moved to Nampa, ID we started going to this UPS Store. We have not had a good experience out of approximately 11 visits. The service is absolutely horrible, in fact the "owner" and the staff are very rude. Not only are they rude, they do not know how to do their jobs. We went into the store last Saturday to mail Celebration of Life cards to our friends and family. They were all returned to us because they did not apply the correct amount of postage. Which is exactly why we went there in the first place. We will never go back to this store again. At Christmas it is expected to wait in line, however if you have a prepaid package and all you have to do is literally drop it off you shouldn't have to wait in line for 20 minutes. The reason for one star, I asked if I had a package that just needed dropped off if I had to wait in line and they said yes....then another gal showed up 15 minutes after I got there waited in line for 3 minutes and then they brought her packages to her and she was done left.....CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED. I brought it to the attention of the young lady at the desk and she gave me attitude, VERY DISAPPOINTED. Go to the post office.....don't waste your time here. read more
