With eBay and Amazon making shopping so easy- I've had a lot of returns and exchanges, as well as selling some things of my own. I love this UPS store and will wait until I'm in the area to ship something instead of going to stores closer to my home. Joe looks like he single-handedly runs the place and he is always so friendly and efficient. I had an issue shipping something to Puerto Rico and I was surprised at his dedication to making sure he figured it out for me, instead of pawning me off for someone else's problem. He was also able to multi-task and serve other customers- and even knew some of them by name. If you like being barked at, by all means go. The few times I have gone here, out of desperation, they have been consistently rude. They may know what they are doing, but they are just plain rude and unfriendly. I always go during the middle of the week, so they aren't busy, yet they always act like they are doing us a favor. Hands down the worst UPS store I have been to, in my life, and I have been to many. They didn't even offer options, just took my package and billed me. No info on delivery date, nothing. Maybe time to go to some customer service training or visit some of the other stores in your vicinity to pick up some skills. read more

My wife and I have been coming to this store for over 10 years. Owner operators Joe and Michelle are friendly, helpful and professional. We sent a package out of state over the holidays and it was delivered to the wrong address. This was the first time something like this ever happened. Joe and Michelle have kept in constant contact with us, guiding us through the reimbursement process. All the while they have been extremely apologetic even though they weren't the ones that delivered a correctly addressed package to the wrong address in Colorado. read more

The owners, even though it had been a decade since my mother passed away, remembered her, and even remembered me and my son who had come in once or twice. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! The woman who works here is a NIGHTMARE. My mother is a regular at this location and the man who works here knows her by name. The woman is a complete witch. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect in my life. Screaming at me and talking shit about me on the phone while I'm standing IN FRONT OF HER! All I wanted was her to send AT&T my cable box, it's not my fault her system froze. She sure made it seem like it was my fault though! She screamed at me the entire time for no reason and I left in tears crying. There is no reason to be rude and cruel to strangers, especially when I wasn't even mad or unkind. This woman is clearly very unhappy and shouldn't be working in CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! God bless her.... DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE IN TEARS. I came into the location on Beltline in Addison yesterday, to have a package returned to the original sender. When it arrived at my business, the tape was undone on the front, which I re-fastened for further shipping. From the moment I walked in the door, tension was heavy in the air; No greeting, or respect paid to the customers being dealt with ahead of me. Boxes were being thrown about as well as sneers, sighs & tapping fingers of impatience. My turn came & I told Josh, the "Manager," I had been sent a package I hadn't ordered, which had a return number & needed to be sent to it's rightful owner. He looked at the package, assumed it had been opened, & stated "I can't do that." I asked him why, seeing how I was instructed to do just this when I called. A roll of packing tape on the counter, he responded by yelling that it wasn't his job & that I had the wrong tape on it, assuming this would get me out of his hair. With no further advice as to where to proceed, I told him it needed to be figured out before I left. He instructed me to remove the (maybe 1 foot) piece of tape, which I sat there and picked to pieces off. He grabbed the box & threw it on the back counter. I asked him to re-seal it so that I knew it would all be sent back as it came. He put tape on it, threw it behind him & said "Are you happy now? You need anything else?" I thanked him for his time & left with him yelling, "These people!" as I walked out the door. Today, the package is back at my business. Square 1. Another employee went to the location to PAY to have it shipped back, dealt with Josh again & ended up being threatened to have the cops called ? as well as service refused! I called for the General Managers number & after asking 6 times, was intentionally thrown the number soo quickly I couldn't hear one number from the next. Very mature. After less than a minute of speaking to the General Manager Jason, at the Preston & Beltline location, he interrupted me- somehow knowing the business I worked at-& told me plainly that I don't have to go to that location. I found him knowing the name of my business curious because I never told him & was using my cell phone. STILL NO RESOLUTION! I then called the Plano location where a gentleman gave me a 1-800 # which would send a truck to my location tomorrow to pick up the package! Why this couldn't have been verbalized to me in the beginning I still don't know. What I DO know is these two locations are ran by kids, who are quite immature & lack business skills. I understand the holidays may be more taxing, but respect should always be given none the less. ****In Dallas alone, there are 272,708 unemployed, who are probably more deserving of an air conditioned job, this kid has.**** read more

Having been a small business own myself I know how important customer service is to repeat business. The two people I encountered here do not know the meaning of customer service. They were rude and offensive. All I wanted to do was drop something off that had a return label already. The gentleman (nicer of the two) asked me a question a couple of times that I didn't understand because his Texan accent was SO thick. I answered what I thought he asked. He turned to the older completely rude lady beside him and said, "women just don't listen to me," meaning I was deliberately not answering his question. I then apologized and said I'm sorry I guess I misunderstood. The older lady looked at him (because I was not good enough to acknowledge apparently) and said, "people don't listen" and walked away. WOW. I listen. I just couldn't understand, but I surely didn't expect to be degraded simply dropping off a package. This is the third UPS store I've been in where the service was horrible. read more

In all my years (49) I have NEVER witnessed such patience in dealing with flat out rude customers. Joe and Michele (and their help) show such professionalism and kindness beyond what most would because let's face it in the world of 'self centered' people kindness is missing. I have witnessed time and time again the 'turn the other cheek' and outstanding customer service to everyone that walks in. I do a lot of shipping and other things at this location and although I have gone to other locations this is worth the drive; not only do they have over 20 years of EXPERT knowledge they always treat everyone with dignity and kindness. Michele is straight-forward with her answers and I like that and can skip all the 'fluff' as I just need to know what is the best thing to do and I trust her experience and knowledge. Joe is the most patient person as I ask a lot of "dumb" questions and he never bats and eye. read more
