I have issues with UPS dropping off my items because I don't have normal business hours. I came after 7:30pm to the UPS location in Prescott Valley and everyone was extremely helpful and Diego went out of his way to find my boxes, call the driver (still out with my boxes) see if I could wait, then bring me my boxes to my car. It's an average UPS store. Everything is ridiculously marked-up, and evidently one cannot print and pay for copies unless one puts his or her credit card into a machine. I agree with other reviewers that there is a palpable "attitude" with the employees. Not many smiles. I came in to mail a pre-paid package and received some of this "attitude" by asking for the clerk to put a small piece of tape across the closure. I try to go to the UPS receiving center down the road when possible. Their hours are limited, but I leave in a pleasant mood instead of ticked off. read more

Every time I come in here, I get treated badly. I asked for a piece of tape, and I was told rudely "WE CAN'T JUST GIVE OUT FREE TAPE!" even though I was paying to have something mailed. I asked to have something returned to Amazon (free) and something else mailed (paid by me). It was as if I was asking for some huge inconvenience. I was charged $16 for a very small package. I refused and went to the post office (was only charged $3). I was ridiculed for making a mistake when I needed something notarized. I didn't know how this gets done! She explained my error on a really loud, snarky way and I felt like she was making fun of me in front of the other customers. That was really unnecessary. She could have explained my error more nicely, privately. This place doesn't make an effort to be nice or explain anything without making you feel terrible and stupid. Everything went okay from a business standpoint, but the cashier Jacob was pretty rude. I was there to get some fingerprints done and he had a new person training to do it. Okay, fine, but don't insinuate that my fingers are the cause of the problem of repeated errors because of "excess oil" (my hands were quite clean) or some other reason instead of the rookie work that was going on. "Don't insult your customers" should be rule #1. I can't say that I recommend this place. If you need your fingerprints done, you might have a better time at the sheriff's office. read more

I was not aware that the UPS stores charged EXHORBITANT prices for the so called convenience. I took three standing candle holders in to be shipped to Seattle. The quoted me $430.00 - FOUR HUNDRED & THIRTY DOLLARS!!! to ship them. Less than half a mile away at the UPS Shipping station, they charged $96.00 including insurance. Not only did they quote an outrageous pice, it came with attitude when I voiced the opinion that it was ridiculously high. read more

Avoid... ship Fedex or regular mail. This UPS store will not deliver mail in a timely manne. Unless you pay for rush shipping it could take weeks for your package to be delivered. I am still waiting for a package that I shipped over 3 weeks ago. This is the second time this has happened. I don't know what they do but it must have something to do with them saving money. I had a question about the mile long disclaimer they make you sign when shipping a package, and the other employee launched into a condescending "explanation" that didn't answer my question. Avoid this UPS store at all costs. Whatever service you need, they will screw it up, it's worth the drive to go somewhere else. My family pays for a mailbox there, turns out they have been rejecting my packages! They never contacted us about returning them and upon contacting them over the issue, they are refusing to cover shipping costs to have them resent, leaving me out hundreds of dollars. If I could choose no stars, I would. Went into this business this morning, with a package needing returned via UPS, and a package that I was sending USPS. The item that was being returned via UPS needed a peice of tape on the box to secure the flap. I told the woman that it was ready to go, but needed a peice of tape. She then told me they charged to tape boxes and asked that as payment I place a $1 donation into the container for the Yavapai Humane Society. I told her unfortunately I didn't have any cash on me. She then pointed to the back wall and told me then I could buy a roll of tape. Needless to say, I took my box and left the store. I was more than happy to drive to Prescott to the UPS store on Gurley where they did not charge me for the peice of tape or try to get me to donate. I will be taking all my future business to the Gurley St location from this point forward. read more

I am shocked at the customer service here. spoke with Adrian, who was a yelling screaming mess, then the manager Taylor, who just repeated one sentence over and over with ZERO accountability. I will be contacting the BBB. I lost money, was treated horribly, and told over and over I was in the wrong. Even after offering an email of proof, was still told it's MY fault and not theirs. Do not try to get anything printed at this location. Their printer is extremely slow. It took 5min to log into their computer and 4min just to load an internet browser. They charge by the minute on top of the charges to print. Their slow computer will cost you $10 to print one page easily. I left once I hit 7min trying to load the internet(after letting the associates know), not worth my time or money. read more

Had a problem with a package I shipped my mother's China. The package was smashed and slot of the China was broken. Went to the store on the 8th asked for store manager tried to tell her what happened. She started yelling at me saying they are not UPS and not responsible for anything. Not I am sorry nothing. Horrible customer service! My mother and I went in here to send off a small package to my sister in Colorado. The lady at the counter had a sour face the moment we went up to the counter. I was attempting to see her name tag but conveniently the name tag was covered by her green sweater. Have never been so disappointed in the way my mother was treated as if we were the biggest inconvenience in her life. I couldn't believe the things she told me about UPS. it's very bad that this place represents UPS, it gives them a bad name. When I walked in this morning I could hear a lady in the back office yelling at someone on the phone, followed by a loud hangup, which was incredibly unprofessional. Then she stormed out of there and asked me (next in line) what I needed. then she told me her computer was down so she would have to wait until the next computer was available. Then she went to the guy after me and started helping him, even took over the computer the other lady behind the counter was using to help the person in front of me! And then, after helping the guy behind me, she helped the lady behind him! It was so rude to not be taken care of in a timely and professional manner. When I went back they CHARGED me 2.00 a piece the TOTAL being $50 ... they are dishonest and scanned them into PDF files instead of Jpegs... done with this store... they don't listen to the customers and do as they damn well please and are just a bunch of no nothing kids. read more

Went to store to send package. Rates for ground to Phoenix are 4 times as much as 1st class package. When questioned clerk was told it was cheaper than USPS. Had to send as client had requested it. Tried to call today because tracking number did not work on UPS site and was left on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. When called back and said that it happened was told they were busy today. No apology. Was told it might be 5 days to Phoenix vs 2 days for 1st class USPS. Really!!!! read more

I went into the store on Dec 8, 2018. I had lots of packages to ship, and one for the store personnel to box up, and couldn't have been taken care of any better! The staff worker named Taidyme was so pleasant, and extremely efficient, when taking care of all my needs. (I felt badly for her & the other worker on duty, as an elderly man came in, and then left in anger because they had to tell him that he needed to go the US Post Office, to be able to do what he needed; they were both very pleasant & professional in letting him know what needed to be done.) Beware they are a business for profit. I went online and gave measurements an inch over every measurement and 2 pounds over the actual poundage I got from my scale at home and it was $26.33 and a four day shipping. When I got to the store they did measurements less than mine and the weight was a pound less than mine and the cost was $34.36 and 5 to 7 business days to deliver. I was so upset at the difference in cost and time. So I called UPS headquarters. They said that the UPS store is a private business and that's why it cost more. And that I should go to the actual UPS hub service center that was close to me as well that I did not know about. They said then the cost should be close to what I see online. Absolutely atrocious "customer service" Employees are passive, dismissive, and rarely willing to help if you need it. When you do ask for help they do the very minimum, while rolling their eyes with attitude and talking bad about customers amongst themselves. Have lost packages of mine on two occasions. "Manager" Tabatha is combative, defensive and unwilling to resolve problems with professionalism, yells and deflects blame constantly. I will never go to this UPS store off of 69 again! Had to use their printer to print out the label to return a package. I was told the computer was running slow so I thought OK not a big deal. I was also told it is $.65 a minute for the use of the computer plus 15 cents for each copy. Again I thought not a big deal! 10 minutes later I'm still sitting at the computer waiting for it to load. Starting to panic a little bit thinking oh my gosh this is going to cost me a fortune just to print out a $.15 copy! The one clerk Zana was extremely rude and condescending. She saw that I was getting very irritated instead of trying to make me feel better she insulted me by telling me to stop complaining! Why in the heck would you hire somebody like this doesn't even know how to deal with the public? The general manager really needs to get her act together and get her computers updated . Also how about teaching your staff how to deal with the public or hire people that are more mature? This is a total rip off to the community. Charging $.65 a minute when you darn well know your computers are not updated! Shame on you! I'll gladly take my business somewhere else.! read more

This store could use some serious customer service training. One of the three staff members on duty was pleasant and efficient. The young staff member approximately 18 years old with long brown hair in a pony tail obviously hated her job. I waited in line for 20 minutes. I watched her walk back and forth from the back office to the lobby with a Starbucks drink in her hand being rude and insulting. By the time it was my turn unfortunately she was at the computer. I had a simple return ,boxed. I had a label from the company in my hand. The first thing she said to me was ' Put the label on' very condescendingly. I had returned a modem before and they had checked the contents of the box , this is why I hadn't put the label on yet or taped the box closed. I ask if she could put a piece of tape on the box? She put a one inch piece of scotch tape on it. I said ' That's going to make it all the way to Kentucky '? She said curtly 'Yes'. I just stood there for a moment and she said ' alright I'll put a piece of tape on it'' . If you like being treated rudely while conducting business , this is your store. I've read the responses of the General Manager to all of the bad reviews and generally she says sorry you feel this way. Stop apologizing and take a look at your staff, their poor customer service reflects directly on your expectations of them. Train them appropriately. No customer wants to leave your store feeling abused because they visited your store. read more

If you are in need of a notary, don't go to this facility. Raised price to $10 a signature. Just went in February to have paper signed. Two signatures on one piece of paper was $2.00. Went yesterday to have same thing done and it cost $20.14 for 2 signatures. Highway robbery (no pun intended). Last time using this place. Clerk also not very nice. Needed a notary, called to make sure there was one there since we were making a special trip into Prescott Valley, was told between 10 and 2. Went in a few minutes before 11 a.m., waited for 15 minutes because notary was on phone about some computer problem. Then was told we could wait longer(because she had to take care of the computer first) or the best thing was to return at 1. We do not live in P.V so going home and coming back was not an option. Stupid to even suggest it, once I walk out of a store like that I will not go back. I don't know anyone that does. It was a very wasted trip! read more
