This UPS store is amazing. Every time I go there the employees are extremely helpful and fast. I'm literally in there for less than 2 minutes. They help me print my return labels, too, which is amazing to me. I don't have a printer so that's something that's really important to me. They also aren't rude like most people and they are really helpful and kind, and make sure I can get in and get out quickly. Whenever I go in there they haven't been busy, either. And if they were busy there is always enough employees to cover the floor. I always come to this location whether it's for my business or for personal returns. So easy and fast. I've been to another location and they usually charge me to tape my package. I thought this was a new thing at all stores but this store never charges me and the clerk at this store told me they don't so we can continue to return to it this store. I had a package delivered to the wrong address and I tried calling the 1800 number and write an email and it kept giving me the run around and it wouldn't let me speak to an agent . To say the least I was beyond frustrated . So I decided to call a ups store near my house . Store number 4125 location 1420 E Roseville pky in Roseville ca . I talked to Cecilia! She went above and beyond to help me figure out where it was and get a hold of customer support . She was able to figure out where it was and hopefully the package will get delivered to me by tomorrow . Cecilia was amazing ! I used thier notary service, which was pretty good, she seemed new at it but she was very sweet. Price for services seemed right too. Ghetto operation in a good part of Roseville... Terrible place to go. The cashier was speaking to her friend while helping me, no caring whatsover. She gave me UPS rates, $21 for a package to be shipped regular UPS, 6"x4"X2" less than a pound, I told her she was wrong, and that she must have entered something wrong in, she started telling me nothing she did was wrong, was very rude and combative. I looked up the price by calling UPS directly, it was only $12! And the cashier was arguing the entire time. Horrible place. read more

Really bad customer service. When I came in three employees just stared blankly at me and did not offer to help. I had to greet and engage them. The manager seemed rude, and pushed the one smiling girl to the side saying "you know you cant help customers yet" instead of showing her an example of good service. They sorta made me feel badly about the box i was shipping since it was my own... I just hope they actually filled it with packing peanuts like i asked. This store is supposed to close at 6:30 on weekdays, as indicated online AND on the door signage. So I drove over after work to find out they randomly closed at 5:30pm yesterday (7/24 - not a holiday). The girl locking up the store pointed out the makeshift sign on the door and said "Yeah, there's a sign." Wasting valuable time driving somewhere to find out they have random closing hours? Worst service I've ever encountered. Brought my packages here and left without them shipped! Employees are constantly giving me mixed information about how to ship my packages each time I am in and make it seem like it is my fault for not knowing their policies when they're the ones who explain their policies incorrectly to me! None of them know what they are doing. Avoid at all costs. I am NEVER going to this place again. I'm sure they will eventually go out of business because of all the other terrible reviews they are consistently getting. You're better off going to the UPS store in Rocklin. read more

I rented a mailbox from them. Generally, I never had any problems, but then when I went in to let them know I wouldn't be renewing my mailbox and asked how much mail forwarding was for one month, I was told that it cost the same as renting a mailbox for one month- $35! Then when I told her that I'd just keep the mailbox for one more month while I changed my address through the post office, she contradicted me and told me that the USPS won't forward mail. Even when I told her I had done it before (it's a simple online process through the USPS website), she still insisted that I was wrong. Dear UPS Store management: You need to teach your employees this simple rule of customer service- the customer is always right! (Even when they're wrong, which I obviously wasn't). read more

I went here today with my sister and had a great experience! The customer service was on par and it was speedy and smooth.

Today I went into the ups store with the intention of using there pack and ship service. The line was very long and the person was asking " is _____ done with her lunch yet." Then they started yelling that persons name ( super unprofessional) but i let it slide because they were calling for help. Then I got to Sherma. Here I was with 3 of the EXACT SAME SIZE canvas photos that needed shipping. She measured the first painting six times and quoted me 95 dollars. I said fine, then she begins to work, she picks up the second painting and does some other stuff and says ok 122. I was floored, so when I asked for clarity as to what the 30 dollar price difference she tries to remeasure again for the 7th time and says " oh I ugh didn't do it right the first time". Then she moves on to the third painting and says a different number, more expensive then the last two. I was floored. I told her " this is getting a bit too insane and there is too many mistakes being made. " then I took my Canvas's to USPS and I mailed all 3 for $196.00 . I just felt like if she wasn't sure she should have asked for help. read more

This place flat out sucks. Took forever to get assistance on notarizing a document. Lady had to go to her car to get material needed to notarize. I handed her my government issued ID and denied it because it wasn't a "descriptive ID." Later went on to read on law based websites that my ID was more than sufficient. "A standard notarization will require you produce a government issued photo ID such as a valid Driver's License or a Passport. Other forms of identification may be acceptable so long as it has your photo, signature, and is a commonly used means of identification." This place is a shame to the UPS name. read more

Great experience . We have to get some document notarized and when they were closing, they were managed to get our document notarized and also on the top gave a coupon for the passport picture and got my son passport picture taken same day too. I went inside and saw and heard a customer walked out yelling to the heavy set woman (staff) that he will take his package at the UPS Rocklin store instead. He was furious. Well, i had a bad experience with this same lady. I brought in 3 packages to ship out but when i got my receipt it only said 2 packages. Luckily, i always check my receipt. The lady said she forgot to scan the third package. So make sure to ask for a receipt and then check it before you leave the store. read more

This place is my go to when it comes to ups. I have tons and tons of boxes I have to send back to the main office and they are always so helpful. They always tape the boxes for me and let me use their dolly. They are kind when you walk in the door and throughout helping you. Totally agree with 1 star reviews. Stale, sterile, robotic...they do the mandatory 'welcome to ups' without looking up when you walk in..i.e. insincere...better not say anything than insincerity. I don't think i have ever seen a genuine smile. Feels like a combination dmv bureaucracy / sweatshop atmosphere. I only go there because they are the closest place to me. Then, after dropoff is complete and i am heading for the door, they give you the perfunctory 'come see us again' ...which translates as 'we have to say this, but we dont really mean it'. Avoid if possible. Never seen anything remotely like it at a ups store. read more

I can not recall having a worse customer service experience. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and had tremendous attitudes. They even changed my shipping carrier without notifying me. I even reached out to the store manager to discuss my experience to hopefully create a dialog with his staff (or maybe he could use it as a training opportunity), but he never responded to me. I will go out of my way to tell everyone needing notary or shipping services to avoid this location. I am also considering contacting BBB regarding them changing my carrier and opening my package without my knowledge. Avoid this this location. read more
