Ok so normally I am I am very forgiving of a business, as I myself would like to be forgiven. This was an awful experience. I feel as so sore in the rear. We had an odd size shipment and we needed a box for it before sending it out. I am not going to go into all the details. Suffice it to say, they packaged my shipment before telling me that there would be an extra packaging fee and labor charge of $26.00. We had been told the price in advance by another clerk and then at the end we were charged that much extra. We would not have agreed to that amount. It cost $36.00 total instead of the $10 we were charged for shipping plus the cost of a box to go out UPS ground. It was a flat box used for shipping picture frames. It was not worth that price. Go to the Postal Annex! They can help you with everything and are much nicer. read more

This store is clean, the person who helped me was friendly, the documentation that they provided me with for my transaction was very well laid out and it was easy to find/use my tracking number for shipment verification. If I need to ship anything else, I'll definitely come back to this store again. read more

I've been going to this store for years now, the employees are extremely kind and helpful. One women who works there that seems to have recently been hired is so kind and professional. I witnessed a women harassing her and cutting in front of a woman and her child (who were being helped), she pushed her stuff onto the table and was being extremely rude. The employee, very professionally handled the situation even though this woman was acting irrational. It was a pleasant surprise to see the way she handled the situation. read more

This is my go-to store to drop off packages to ship or return. I've been coming here for years and all of the ladies who have helped me out have always been very helpful and easy to work with. I went to a fed-ex store once because it was on a whim and I was closer to it, and the lady in there handed me the tape to pack my own stuff and tape my label while she sat back and watched me struggle (LOL). The ladies at this UPS store are always willing to go above and beyond and help me seal everything up on my package before I even have to ask! This used to be Mailboxes etc, which later became the UPS Store. If you have a return for Amazon.Com then this is your place. Service is a little slow at times if there are 2-3 people ahead of you. They also have other services and supplies. This is not as stocked as a Fedex/ Kinkos store, but really focussed on shipping. I just wish they had a secure drop off area labelled vs put it up against the wall in the middle and hope someone notices it and someone does not walk off with it. 3 stars read more

Dude this place... I came in for a simple job: print out 3 documents and have them laminated. I've come here before to have 2 certificates printed and laminated as well, but this time was chaotic. Came and wasn't told how to use the computer at all, so I tried to figure it out myself. Eventually was able to flag down one of the women working to help us sign in. After that I got the documents in queue to print, but the printer was not working. A Male employee then "assisted" by pressing 2 buttons and walking away. (This fixed nothing) After finding the same women from before we asked her to help us through the whole process again so we would be able to do it on our own if we needed to again. But she couldn't get the print to work either, we even sent the documents to the store's email and they were still unable to get the documents printed. We signed iut of the computer, but I was still charged for 4 documents. Eventually we left because we couldn't figure it out. The woman did refund me the amount I was charged. This whole experience I found the employees rude and not knowledgable about the equipment they work with daily. I felt completely ignored when I needed help and I won't be coming back. Immediately after this i checked my bank account to make sure to make sure my card wasn't charged and I found a $12 charged, but I called and one employee explained it was just a hold and would be refunded. This whole situation was a mess... I drove down to FedEx after and I was able to print, cut and laminate my documents in minutes. read more

Avoid at all cost!!!! The staff here has never been helpful here. The last straw for me was when I needed to send something 3 day select to have arrive by a certain day. I called and asked them if I would make it for their last Saturday pick up. I was told yes I had plenty of time. I dropped it off and then find out the packages didn't go out on Saturday but instead went out on Tuesday (due to the Holiday on Monday) When i called to ask what happened they responded that only over night gets picked up on Saturday!! Never coming to this spot again. My ups store on Monterey Rd is 10x better and the staff is actually helpful. read more

Great service! I went to drop off packages today and since I don't have a tape, I paid a $1 per package for tape which is not bad because we suppose to seal our package before we drop it off at the store or any shipping/drop off location like Fed Ex and USPS or just buy a roll of tape which is available in the store. I also use their computer rental to print out some documents and they charge $2.50 for first 10 min and .50 cents per page which about the same price if I go to Fed Ex, Postal Annex or even in school. The ladies are very helpful, patient and understanding that they will try their best to help my needs on that visit. The nature of a customer service job is not easy so "understanding" as humans would be nice. To find a parking is hard so be very patient on finding one especially FRIDAYS! I also found out that UPS (Brown Truck) and The Ups Store is different so don't blame the store if packages are late/delayed/lost beyond their control situations because the store only process to make a label, ship it BUT don't deliver (the lady with the glasses said and she's very nice). Overall, the staff are great, helpful, polite and service is awesome as long your understanding. Great customer service! read more

They'll charge you for the smallest of things. They should have USB ports on printers to print simple documents. I was charged for renting a computer to print a label, I asked if I could just use the USB port because it was super quick. Their response, that's not possible. I guess not when you tape up the USB ports. Rip off, go to a different location even if you have to drive. read more

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! I had two boxes packed and shipped at this location on 12/20/13. I thought it was odd that they didn't pack the boxes in front of me. I should have listened to my intuition because one of presents that was in the box to my sister was tampered with. One of the presents was a sealed jewelry size box. In it was a $100 bill. I had put chocolates in the box to weight it down and make it seem like something was actually in there. Well the chocolates were there, but the $100 was not. The only people that had access to my stuff after I left them at the UPS store are the employees! The other box that I had packed and shipped went to my brother. He said that the three presents were just thrown in there with no padding. The wrapping paper on the presents were all ripped because they had not been packed correctly. I have called to speak to the manager or owner several times and have not gotten any return calls. I am so appalled at the dishonesty of the employee, and the awful customer service I have received after I tried to discuss the issue. I had this particular box insured for $300 but UPS cannot file a claim because it was cash. Funny how that was the only thing missing. Some of the other items in the box were gift cards, but those are traceable! I will never step foot in this establishment again. I would be careful! UPDATE: I did hear back from the owner after I had to call and leave him a message twice. He basically called me a liar and crazy and refused to look into the matter. My husband brought a document (an insurance claim) to be notarized, but the notary refused, telling him he needed to fill out the portion of the document that did not pertain to him. Not only she drives away business, she wastes other people's time. There was no convincing her that the document was filled out as needed. Absolutely NOT qualified to be a notary. I am speaking as a notary myself, but I cannot notarize for my husband. He went to another place and had it done in 2 minutes flat. read more

I have been coming to this UPS store for many years now. These women are highly qualified, knowledgeable and very kind. I brought in a very priceless side table to ship to another state last year and they spent a good amount of time packing it and making sure it was insured properly. AVOID THIS PLACE!! $1/page for B&W printing! They disabled the SD card readers on the copiers (for fear of viruses, so they claim), forcing people to 'rent' their computer for $1.99 if you want to print. It then costs an additional $1 per page. So, if you want to print a single B&W page it starts at $2.99! read more

I found out I could drop off old Comcast equipment here instead of going to a Comcast Customer Center. Then I was concerned, because I couldn't find the pre-paid label from Comcast. I did end up finding it, but because the packaging I brought in wasn't sturdy enough, she was able to check everything in manually, give me a receipt, and it still didn't cost a dime!! I've been a long time mail box holder at the San Jose blossom valley location(16 years or so). They have always grabbed my incoming packages in between customers who are mailing packages as it takes literally 2-3 minutes. I'm paying extra for a box and shipping address and they seemed to understand this and not make me wait in long shipping lines to grab a package for me. Now all of a sudden they expect me to wait in a line of 10 people all shipping packages which will take an hour versus what they have been doing for the last 16 years and grabbing it quick, in between customers , which would only impact them a few minutes. Not sure what UPS store official policy is, but I'll try and find another package service and cancel this one. read more

Dropped off a laptop for packing and return to Sony for warranty repair. This UPS store instead shipped another customer's router to Sony under my return authorization. My computer lost, no information where it went, whether it can be recovered, etc. Store has gone completely dark and owner seems to refuse to communicate with me. I will update this if the situation improves but for now I would say "buyer beware". I would certainly not use this store again. read more

Rude with no improvement. I went there several times and each time it was an unpleasant experience. I'm willing to give a place another chance so I went back but since it hasn't gotten better my advice is to avoid this location at any cost. The woman working there was lecturing me about the free shipping labels when I had two and told her either one works and it doesn't matter which one she picked. She kept on telling me that she cannot put two labels on one box. I had to raise my voice and tell her that I know that and I'm aware of this to make her stop. Next time the guy charges me for a dollar because he had to use tape. I asked since when and he said for years which surprised be because the woman did not charge me anything the previous month. When I told him I'd rather put the tape on myself at home he started taping my box to charge me the dollar. This is unacceptable! read more

I sold an item on ebay and came to get a quote. I was quoted 90 dollars. I adjusted my price and sold the item and when I came in to ship it, shipping became 105. I had to take the hit because they're estimate is more like a guess. This doesn't work for us that sell items on ebay or any other site. I'll need to find a new place to ship from. Kinda sucks because this place was close to my house. By the way, I've shipped from here before all estimates were accurate prior to this experience. read more

I came in today to ship a small package on my lunch break. I ship packages of this size and weight all the time from my post office, and USPS first class with tracking is usually $3-4. The lady behind the desk insisted she couldn't give me a tracking number for First Class Mail; if I wanted to track the package I needed to ship via Priority Mail (or a more expensive UPS shipping option). I needed to send it today, so I paid the $10 (!!) to ship a small 8-ounce package via USPS Priority Mail, returned to work and checked USPS online where it turns out you can indeed add a tracking number for First Class Mail, at no additional charge. I'm extremely disappointed with this apparent shady upselling, and would recommend you avoid this store. I'm kicking myself for not checking this out in the first place...live and learn, I suppose. read more

I've been coming to this UPS Store for a long time (10 years) the girls work there are always kind and professional they always go an extra mile to help you as long as they don't break company rules or laws. They've always treated me with respect. Today I've witnessed this poor girl being harassed some guy trying to get something notarized but based what I over heard of the conversation that he did not have proper identification or there was discrepancy of the name and he tried to use his credit card, union dues card and the girl politely explained to him those are not acceptable and considered ID. He begun yelling and cursing this poor girl and called her all nasty names and threatening her to bad mouth her and the company. This girl keep calm and just listened to his rant. I felt compiled to write this review in defense of the store it seems like the company has no voice when comes to social media and unhappy people. They can only do so much without breaking any rules. Never will I use this store or UPS again. They willfully destroyed a package I sent and then the store REFUSED to help me on my claim and held it up for four months. I had to work through the UPS maze to get anywhere. If a store deserved zero stars it's this one. The staff is arrogant and demeaning. They asked for a tracking number and I brought the tracking number back and they said it's not a valid number. I asked if they have a camera because I have exact date and time that I dropped off to them and they said they don't have it. They act very unprofessional and rude. read more
