The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Santa Clara, California

I showed up around 5:15 to see a employee behind security gates minding his own business. A customer asked if they were open, and he said read the sign it's reduced hours. The store had a sign indicating 6:30. He was a very rude. When the customer asked if she could provide him with a package since it's suppose to be open, he just ignored her and continued with his own business. All he had to do was apologize and let us all know where was the next UPS dropbox. We all stood there in line behind the gate waiting for him to give us direction and respecting that he was on the phone so we said nothing until a customer finally asked. Seems like a disgruntled employee and potentially poor management of employees? If your the business owner, please make sure new hours are posted on the door, your reduced hour paper says 6:30 still and makes it hard for the customer to know what is going on. read more

I am a HUGE fan of this UPS store. In my experience, the mail isn't always perfect- it's a huge system, a lot of moving parts, and a lot of variables. One thing I can always count on though, is this UPS store's efficiency. Whenever I come here, there is always someone behind the counter who is not only well-versed in the shipping tasks at hand, but can also juggle a line of various requests. Often, this person is Sally, the store manager, who is a total shipping rockstar, a people person, and here to make things move and solve problems. She is the reason this store shines. Recently, I shipped an item that went missing to my receiver. Dealing with the 1-800 UPS line was confusing and impersonal to file my claim. When i called up my local store, Sally told me to come in and we'd take care of it in person together. As usual, I watched Sally juggle all kinds of customers- Amazon dropoffs, faxing documents, fingerprinting someone, and me- filing a claim! The line of 5 people, calmly and quickly went down to 1 where she then spent her time making sure I was taken care of. When my claim was processed, she called me to tell me. Sometimes it takes something to go wrong, to really see how much value a person brings. Thank you Sally for everything you do for the community! Mail used to stress me out, but now I have my local spot I can count on. Whenever there is a hiccup in the system, Sally will be there to sort you out. THANK YOU SALLY!! read more

Very horrible service! My package, which was an iPhone, went mysteriously missing from the store. My first issue was I didn't get a tracking number when I first gave the phone to the employee to package it and ship it for me. While walking out the store I noticed my receipt didn't have a tracking number. Thus, I walk back into the store with my receipt asking for my tracking number to follow the package. Where the employee acted surprised and apologized. I dropped it off on a Monday for next day delivery and that Thursday the tracking number stated it hadn't left the store. When I went to the store to follow up three days later, the manager and employee who helped me previously seemed confused and said they would file a claim. They couldn't answer what could of happened to the phone if it wasn't scanned/ or left the store. That following day I called and explained I would be filing a police report and asking for their cameras to be checked to make sure my phone wasn't stolen from the employee. Two days later the phone was mysteriously dropped off to my desired location. Beware they have scamming going on!!! read more

This review is long overdue. A few years ago we came here for notaries. The notary they had took a while to help us, never asked us what notarization form we needed, and just used a jurat at her own election. After we left, and were informed by those requesting notarization that we had the wrong format and needed to get it redone, we went back to the store. The same employee was there, so we explained to the employee what happened. The employee insisted that she was correct, then claimed that she had asked us and that we had requested a Jurat, kept saying that we were at fault, and also said something about a "Default format." At the end, she offered "as a favor to us," to redo the notarization at no extra charge. The attitude was so unexpectantly bad that I ended up contacting the manager after we went home, and explained what happened. This whole series of events took two visits to the store, lots of time, and two visits to return the documents notarized to the requestor. The manager eventually emailed me, and said that she spoke with the employee and that the employee said that she had asked us what type of notary form we wanted, and that we had requested a "jurat," so it was our mistake and they did us a favor in redoing the notarization at no extra charge. So, the manager effectively called us liars based on some comments her employee gave her, with no understanding and investigation. Bad customer service was bad enough. Being called liars afterwards is astoundingly worse. Go elsewhere. read more

The ladies in this UPS store are super friendly and provide an excellent custom service for international shipping to Canada. Appy is very patient and helps me fill in long lists of my shipping items. Sally is very careful about what items can be shipped to Canada, and help me check with the the international shipping service. She also helped me to spend a long time fixing the wrong address I mistakenly input and kept tracking the returning items to make sure that I can get them back. GiGi is always very supportive and give useful suggestions to help me to ship my stuffs smoothly. I have successfully shopped my boxes, therefore, I trust them and went back to them for many times. She gave me the wrong tracking number. After I went home and waited a couple of days, the tracking number still isn't valid on ups website. Had to make a 2nd trip to the store and it took a while to find the right tracking number (not in computer or paper files - only after I wrote down all the addresses again was progress made). Apparently she knew that if she corrected an address (her typo) that it would invalidate the initial tracking number. Had she gaven me the correct valid tracking number in the first place, it would have saved both of us a lot of time. No attempt at apology (but at least she wasn't rude). I called many of the ups stores around Cupertino to ship a futon to Los Angeles. Many said they couldn't do it or you have to find a box first and then come back. In addition many we're not open on Sundays. Gigi was so customer friendly and responsive. Not only did she have a box that could fit the futon but she helped us to pack it. It really eased my mind as we were leaving on Wednesday and we did. It have much time left to get everything done. Had a less than stellar experience at this UPS store. I had purchased something by mail and was sending it back as a return. The vendor provided me with a shipping label which just needed to be printed. I arrived at the UPS store was told that I would have to pay a $3 computer fee as well as 28 cents a page to print. Why would I pay $3.28 to print this shipping label? Makes no sense to me. I ended up going to FedEx to print the label instead for 16 cents. I'll never use this facility again. Very poor customer service for something that should have been super easy. read more

Went in to drop off an Amazon package. And wanted to print a document from my USB drive. The person managing the store said USB drive do not work on any printers. I will have to use the computer and print from there. Cost to using computer was 5$ min. I noped out of there and printed at a FedEx for 20c per page. This is the 3rd such experience I have had at a UPS store. I wonder if it is a company policy to disable USB ports on their store printers to charge customers $5 min when it should cost only 20c. read more

Despite my wife and my frazzled demeanor, the store's manager, Sally, was fantastic and went out of her way to assist my wife and I when we needed some immediate prints/copies and answered all of our questions.
