I never thought I'd have any reason to have "a favorite" UPS store ... like you just drop off a package at any store wherever you're at, fine. But the last three times I've been here, Jarod has helped me and given me the best customer service. In an America where capitalism overlooks quality and care to focus on mass numbers and revenue, qualitative characteristics like intentional and kind customer service, a well lit space and clear signage is overlooked. (The UPS store I sometimes go to on Santa Monica is just cluttered and ... just no.) So lately I've made it a point to spend my money ONLY where I get those things. now I will only frequent this store for not just my returns lol but for my mailings as well because I want to be part of the reciprocity cycle. its pretty sad when the UPS agent asks me what COUNTRY HAWAII is in.... Yes what COUNTRY, then i get charged $270 bucks to ship a 6 lb package. Incompetence and a rip off. This has happened repeatedly at this locations. They hire morons.. Will take my business elsewhere read more

I cant believe I have missed this UPS store over the years. ALL the staff at this location absolutely crush it. Whoever manages this place is doing a great job selecting and training its employees, because I often pull in with very challenging shipments going halfway across the globe, and they always figure it out. Even though it's a small store, the staff is extremely vigilant and attentive with customers. I never leave without getting the service I need, and they never seem bothered--always helping with a positive attitude. They have gone out of their way to look for cost-saving or time saving options, and they even keep dog treats for visitors which is a great touch. A few good employees and a few awful ones. Like I get it, it's not your dream job. No reason to spread your misery onto others though, treating a customer poorly right when they walk in. The lady this morning would not accept my package without a box. Three points: 1. It was shipped to me by Amazon in the manufacturer's box. The label is literally still on the box. But she insists it needs to be in another box. Ok but point 2... 2. I selected the UPS Store Drop Off, which provides me with a QR code and specifically says "no box or label needed" and that they will pack and ship the item for us, that all we need to do is drop it off and scan the QR code. I've done it dozens of times. 3. Management/Ownership needs to crack down on this. She wouldn't take my proof, only replying that "we don't do that" "you need to buy a box". Lady, you're working a dead end job at the UPS store and you can't even do that well. An attitude from start to finish, lol. read more

This is one of the most professional, helpful, and friendliest UPS stores I have ever frequented. I also own a box here and I am very happy with it. The only reason I discounted one star is because they do not yet have 24 hour access to the mailboxes. Otherwise, this is an excellent place to go for your mail and shipping needs! read more

I would not normally write a review of a UPS store, but after having gone to this location on Ocean Park vs. the ones closer to my home, I felt like I should. I don't know what they're doing differently, but it's an entirely different experience going to this UPS store compared to any of the other ones in the neighborhood. Staff is always friendly, nobody seems annoyed to see you, and even when I showed up with three separate things to ship and needed boxes and help packing them the guy working seemed more than happy to help. I will go out of my way to go to this UPS store - I drive past two other ones on the way. read more

They packed each of my packages neatly and organized while timing the package to get to my new apartment on time of my arrival. I went to this location because my UPS digital account wasn't working, Octavio, the manager there, not only offered to help me, but generously offered to create the labels FOR ME and have them sent to the location I needed them to get to.
