This UPS location printed my Amazon return label. They never scanned the Amazon return label and they never gave me a receipt. They would not take responsibility for not scanning the return label that they printed and for not giving me a receipt. The owner more or less said tough luck. The box was opened and contained a $99 Made in frying pan. The employee said don't worry about it. I'll tape it up. The package never got back to the vendor. I believe this UPS store should take responsibility for a package that evidently never left their location. I would like them to take responsibility. read more

Went to Seal Beach UPS store on PCH. The clerk was nice enough but new. The manager or owner seemed frustrated with her. I gave her my package, the address twice, paid ,and was on my way . The email they use ends up in spam which I wasn't told and she had input the wrong PO Box. Item was delivered to wrong box,, bye bye $150.00 item and when I called, the owner couldn't get off the phone fast enough and had no empathy. First time and last time doing business with them. This costly experience contrasts what's normally been routine and precise at every other store. read more

I was amazed at my interaction with the owner today. There was a very nice trainee that was attempting to help me with an amazon return. The label was not generating properly so I offered to step outside and try to get amazon on the phone to get a new label. It was around 5:30 so I was hoping to get what I needed before they closed but did not want to hold up their line. I was on the sidewalk on the phone for about a half hour when the owner came out and started using a leaf blower making it impossible for me to hear the amazon rep. I then moved inside since I finally had someone on the phone and was hoping to get what I needed. The owner came in and asked the trainee to begin vacuuming. The trainee gestured that I was clearly on the phone with a supervisor trying to fix the label issue. The owner told him it didn't matter and to start vacuuming. The trainee apologized to me and said I could step in the back to be able to hear better. I asked the owner what time they closed because it wasn't 630 yet and if I can get a label will he scan it. He informed me he would be shutting down his system in 2 mins. It was 6:20. I understand it is close to closing time but not actually closing time. I asked him again if I was able to get the label before 630 would he scan it. He chose to ignore me. On my way out I thanked the trainee for his attempt at kindness and told the owner that he could use a little more human decency. He flipped me off and told me to go fuck myself. He then proceeded to follow me out to my car yelling "FUCK YOU, I AM THE OWNER. I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOUR FACE IN MY STORE AGAIN" There is another UPS store location around the corner. Go there instead. I have no idea why this grown man felt the need to make a young woman so uncomfortable. Edit- I did not refuse any service. I was not offered any other options or given any price options. Only told I needed to contact amazon. There was no intention of staying open under any circumstances whatsoever. Also note the owner does not dispute yelling obscenities and following me out of the store. I have made both amazon and the BBB aware of the incident. read more

They more than doubled the phone estimate and then said it was my problem. I called to get an estimate for shipping a hope chest to Houston. I provided the dimensions of the chest as 21" x 45" x 18.5" with a weight of 60 lbs. I discussed with the representative that was not packaged and asked for an estimate for packaging. I was told $230 for shipping and $40 to $60 for packaging, depending on how much padding was needed. I took the chest to the store and was told it would be almost $600 for shipping and packaging. I could understand if they made a mistake, and the store explained the mistake. But they simply denied what I was told on the phone and said I must not have provided all the information. I provided the same information on the phone and at the store. That is poor customer service. Never again. read more

Very bad attitude by Kevin B Bhatt, owner. As an organized senior citizen , I like to have have a paper copy of my returns to Amazon/Zappos. I print out the QR code with the item description, rather than showing the code on my iPhone. That started a tirade of rude comments towards me. "My staff have told you repeatedly not to print out the QR codes!!!". Funny thing is: THE PRINTED QR codes ALWAYS WORK! So much for world class customer service. Most of his staff are very pleasant to work with..but not Kevin. I even called Amazon to see if printing the QR codes should cause such a negative response from Kevin, since he told me Amazon doesn't want you to print them. They said, no...it doesn't matter, as long as they scan ...Which they do! Kevin's hostile attitude was very off putting. Do better, Mr. Bhatt. read more

I live in Huntington Harbor but I go to the UPS in Seal Beach because I shop across the street. Being semi-retired, I don't sometimes have access to things like printers and things I need to do on a desktop computer. When I go into the store Willie is so helpful and so polite. He can get very busy but always takes time to answer my questions and I've seen how professional he is with other customers in the store. And, obviously being in Seal Beach he gets some Leisure World clientele in there too and he's very accommodating and patient with the seniors. Even when there is a line out the door, these guys are on top of it and still friendly to boot. Kevin was wonderful with assisting us with a complicated notary. My girlfriend loves this store for their courteous clerks and they are super organized when it comes to handling Amazon returns, faxing or scan and email issues for our personal business needs. Today was crucial for our son who is in the military and we needed to do a motorcycle title change to transfer the ownership and Kevin knew we would also need a Bill of Sale, something we would have discovered at the DMV after waiting for hours. Being a retired Attorney, I really appreciated the professional expertise his store commands and even more so that Kevin made it a point to be there there for us this morning. The UPS location on PCH in Seal Beach is the worst. Dropped off a box to be mailed, called fifteen minutes later to suspend the mailing until my eBay customer paid the postage. Was told by UPS manager that while they would not mail it they would charge me $20 for the box they put it in. When picked up my item I was shocked to see that they had not even padded the vintage tv as I had asked and were shipping it in a thin cardboard box. They refunded postage not used but charged credit card for the crappy box. UPS central says it is up to the store to name their box prices. Steer clear of this dishonest place. Friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had to ship pieces of art to Germany and took them "as is" framed and with glass sheets (!) to this UPS store. The local service representative, Kevin, handled everything from obtaining UPS's specialized packaging materials, packing the pictures and preparing the paperwork to (of course) arranging the shipment. The pictures took off on a cargo plane super quickly and arrived in Germany unscathed thanks to Kevin's professional packaging skills. I am really impressed with the high quality of the service and will return to this UPS store any time. I highly recommend it! read more

I just got kicked out of a UPS store because the OWNER Kevin Blatt thought I was being "sarcastic" when he said he was gonna charge for packaging material after already ripping me off on a $5.39 box..... I was forced to take my package to be shipped at Another UPS store in Huntington Beach on Warner where the staff were more than friendly and charged me $1.92 for the exact same item to be boxed with a smile! (Thanks Kevin I dodged your scam and saved $3.47 jerk!) I see Kevin has yet to learn that to stay thriving in business you have to know what customer service is or at least what common curtesy is. It's Veterans Day for cryin out loud man!! This place needs to go out of business because of the pompous owner Kevin Blatt and his psychotic personality driving locals away. There are business 101 classes at most junior colleges Kevin you can certainly benefit from a course or just close down and do Seal Beach a favor. You suck. read more

Went in today and waited in line while the cashier treated the customer before me with over-the-top formality like, "Sir, sign here. Wonderful. Thank you so much." When I get to the register and mention that I have Amazon returns, he exhaled loudly and asked if I had them ready (I did - each one had the return scan code taped to the item and I only had 4). He then told me the system was down and there was nothing he could do. No "have a great day" for me. He just said, "Next" and I was on my way. I went down the street to the UPS store on Spring and then sent them off without acting annoyed. I won't be back. You're not doing me a favor when you're making money off of my shipments.
