Dropped off a letter for next day delivery. Package didn't arrive until 2 days after. Contacted Mr. Patel at the store and he contacted UPS for me. They said the package had been delivered successfully but he fought back with proof that it was late. Turned out it had been sitting in the Cerritos (maybe Cyprus?) distribution center and was overlooked. I have gone to this store numerous times since moving to the area. There used to be a younger kid that worked there and was amazing. Always cheerful and pleasant to carry on a conversation with, but I haven't seen him in some time. Lately the man who has been at the counter has some issues. Not completely rude, but definitely doesn't need to be in the customer service side of the house. He has a short fuse, not friendly at all and can be overbearing. I keep coming back because of the convenient location, but there is another around the corner that is looking better every interaction I have with this new representative. IF you need to do UPS, go to the one on Valley View in the Vons Plaza. The my are only a couple miles away and customer service is excellent. A store you want to give your business to. What everyone is saying about the rude workers is absolutely true. The owner/ worker was very annoyed that I walked in with a label that was printed for me by a previous worker on a different day. The previous worker wanted to charge me for a box or I could find one at home to package it in and save some money. I decided to do that. He gave me the label for when I do come back. Instead of saying "he should not have given you that label, she blames me and says, "you shouldn't have taken the label from him, it needs to be used the same day it's printed". How was I suppose to know this internal rule for workers? If a worker gave it up o me I'm assuming that's the process? All this to say, it didn't need to go about this way at all and her approach is just plain rude to customers. It makes me as a customer second guess if my return package to Amazon will actually get there or if the rude workers will do something to sabotage the delivery so I don't get my refund just to spite me. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Hands down the WORST service imaginable. I was helped by a female employee, employee # 171388 on 7/2/2024. Not only did she have the worst attitude, I needed a 2 inch by 2 inch piece of tape for my package, and she said she couldn't spare a piece of tape, and that I needed to purchase an entire roll. It's a mailing location, even the post office will spare a square of tape. It cost me $8.00 for a 2 inch piece of tape, and I ended up giving the roll to a lady behind me. I was returning an Amazon item. I reported the location to Amazon for lousy service. Honestly, do yourself a favor and find another location, they don't deserve our patronage, time, or money. The associates at the UPS store were very understanding and helpful assisting me with returning the packages even though I had forgotten to bring the shipping labels; they were capable of printing them out after emailing via iphone. Very disrespectful. I came in to get Frontier equipment returned. There were 3 employees in the store all talking to one customer. All 3 ignored me. Not a, "I'll be right with you." Nothing. After 5 minutes someone asked me what I needed. I was told I needed QR code to return the box. While I was looking for the code, an employee that was sitting where she could see me and my small dog from the moment we came in, told me that dogs weren't allowed in the store. I was in the store for at least 10 minutes before anything was said! They refused to help me told me to leave. This store has the most unhelpful and rude UPS employees. They took a package from me that I fully explained the contents (a Dyson vacuum battery). They said "no problem" charged me a huge shipping price. 2 days later the package was returned to me and never shipped. They kept my money and said it was due to training errors on their part but still kept my money. On top of this dumb situation that could've easily been solved by them refunding me, they made me call customer service at UPS which took forever only for them to tell me the store should take care of it. So called the store back they were so rude they hung up on me. No apology and no resolution and they even said they know it's their fault! Frauds who overcharge. They charged over $70 for a small package to ship two 12 ounce items and took advantage of an immigrant who didn't know they were getting ripped off. The old man at the front does things too slow. He takes out a bag, compared it to my stuff, then decides it doesn't fit, then takes another big bag, and takes his sweet time to wrap it. Usually when I do Amazon returns the clerk just scans and prints out the label and put it on top of the item so that I can be out fast. Even if they put it in the bag it's fast. No, this dude scans, gets a bag, puts the item in slowly, stick the label, and go to the back (????). He even got a small bag and then wraps my bag like a burrito to put into it so it takes him 2 minutes to finish as well. He also yanked my stuff out of my hands when I was literally sorting them out to give to him. He even have me put the items in the bag for him. Excuse me? That's what you're being paid for. The man at the front desk was very rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and angry!! When I asked him to help me he refused and said they didn't get paid by Amazon to handle these returns. The biggest issue was how angry and combative he was. I remained calm and tried to understand why he was so bothered and basically he said that they make no money on Amazon returns. I went to turn in my photos and submit my application at the Post Office, and they did not think that the pictures from the UPS store would pass (the backgrounds were all grey instead of white). so in order to avoid an application rejection, I re-took the photos at the Post Office. I went back to the UPS store to show them the new pictures and explain why the lighting and/or background of their pictures was unacceptable, and they refused to give me my money back. I went to do a return from Amazon. Per the instructions it says to show UPS Store the QR code, pack and ship free. The owner told me I needed a box (a box for the box). I showed him the instructions and he said call Amazon. He was rude and I will never go back. See the picture unless I'm reading it wrong. Either way he was rude and I'd rather not go back.
