This UPS store is my go-to for my Amazon returns and other package-mailing needs. It's a pretty busy location and the employees have always been nice to me. They simply are anti-COVID people and no one should be going here. There are many other UPS Stores in Surprise that actually care about their customers and the health of their customers. My concern is that the employees are not observing COVID restrictions. At least 2 of the 6 employees do not wear masks. On each of the 3 occasions that I visited this store, they were uncovered. Was working with one of the employees asking a question and an older lady employee walks by and butts into our conversation and tries to belittle me in front of the customers. I answered the older lady back and she didn't appreciate my comment and mumbled under her breath. If she had just stayed out of my business she wouldn't have been offended by my response. I've been to this location multiple times when I'm in the area if I'm needing to fax or scan documents, but stamps, or purchase a card or two. Some items are a little pricy compared to Walmart etc, but service is always fast and friendly. read more

Went to drop off something and before walking in I noticed no one had a mask on. There was a sign stating that "due to medical reasons and their right, they don't have to wear masks. And if you don't like it you can go somewhere else". So I took their suggestion and that is exactly what I did, I left. Later that day I found out someone spoke to the owner about not wearing masks and he told them covid was a hoax to control us and he went on about some conspiracy theories and so forth. Which makes me even more upset that they would lie and say it is due to medical issues. I did wonder how it was possible that all the employees had medical reasons, now it makes more sense. During a pandemic and at a time when we have the highest rate of Covid cases. When doctors and medical field workers are working endless hours not even being able to see their families due to working endless hours, it is a complete slap in their faces and such a selfish thing to do. And to add insult to injury today 10 Phoenix hospitals announced that they are diverting patients. This means that the hospitals are closed to incoming emergency transports and hospital transfers while they work to address a backlog of patients. And yesterday we had 145 covid deaths. I HATE wearing masks but do it anyway because I feel that as a member of society we all help and look out for one another. I will never be returning to this place again. I went to the store to have a Native American pot double boxed and shipped to Texas. The reason I am giving this low rating is not because the staff were not friendly and efficient, but because they were not wearing masks. The store had put markers on the floor indicating where people should stand for social distancing, and many of the customers were wearing masks, but I felt the staff should wear masks as well. I wore a mask to protect them but they did not wear a mask to protect me. read more

i placed an print order at 9am. the receipt said same day pick up at 3:30pm. when i arrived, the cashier told me their system was down. when i asked what we can do to get my prints done she just shrugged her shoulders, said she couldn't help me, & i shld come back later to see if the system came up again. i called the store at 5:30 to check on my order, they told me i could email it to them & they could still print it for me. when i arrived to the store they said they wouldn't print for me bc it was too close to closing (6pm) & they also wouldn't give me a refund. i was ignored at the register when i walked in & the employees were rude considering they could've offered me the email solution the first time i came in. read more

Called this store about a lost package I had dropped off at this location and right away the lady who answered said " we said everything out in this store" she then continued to see if she could locate the package and kept putting me on hold or would ask me questions but then start talking to people around her . I would give them zero stars if I could. I have been coming here for about a month since we moved to Surprise. I have had nothing but BAD experiences with the employees. First off, they are super rude - they do not greet you, don't acknowledge you, and are very slow almost as if they don't care if you are waiting around. I have stood in the line for 10-15 minutes being unacknowledged not even a "hello" or "we will be right with you". If you come in with a package ready to ship ALL of the UPS stores I have been to allow me to put the package on the counter and leave while they finish up with a customer... NOT THIS ONE. I came in the other day and of course the line was long and honestly I don't have time to wait. I was not acknowledged, the guy was standing around looking like he had nothing to do, and I had to go to work. I put my packages that were already labeled and ready to ship on the far counter in a nice stack. The next day I came in and had more packages to ship and GOT LECTURED by one of the employees (young kid with glasses) on how he had to pick up all my packages the day before and bring them to the back. Is that not your job? If you can't do simple tasks such as that, GOODLUCK in life. Don't make it seem like I threw them all on the floor and said pick them up because that is not what happened. I literally set them nicely on the counter without disturbing anyone and left. Mind you, every UPS store I have been to allows this and most of them have drop boxes at the front where you can drop your packages off that are ready to be shipped and USPS will pick them up. I have been paying my MAILBOX for few years now, sometimes I'm not getting my mail because stupid reasons "I was told maybe I should upgrade to a bigger box or your kids name was not on the box" So we send your mail back... My kid is 12 years old, I don't think his information should be on the mailbox! But instead I'm getting all just junk mail that I don't want? I've been waiting for a package for two weeks now, and when arrived you send it back by refuseing to sign for it! I was made fun of by employees for wearing a mask while none of the employees had one on. A woman without a mask was coughing dramatically and when I asked her to please step back since she was maskless and standing too close, she made jokes while the employees laughed. Was referred by amazon about a return I needed to send back . Went into the store the staff was far from nice . Told them I had a return and I had a shipping label on my phone . Was told that oh u need to print it your self never stated to me that there is a charge for it ? So I asked why am I being charged a British accent gentleman stated he was the manager there . Stated to me that there is no charge u just print it and bring it up . So thats what I did went back up told me it will be 2.48 for the label ?? I told the guy u just said it was no charge and his response was either u pay it or u don't send out . Seriously this guy should be terminated by corporate for being dishonest with customers and being totally rude .
