Amber is awesome! I went to CVS to get passport photos done but they weren't doing them for some reason. I called this UPS location to see if they could do it and Amber said Absolutely come on in! She handled my photos and shipping on top of filtering other customers through efficiently. Her multi tasking was next level and still had a friendly, personable attitude the whole time. I was waiting in line for about 10 min until I finally was able to get to a customer agent . He/she .. I am sorry to say that but i believe the person is transgender ( which I 100% support) did provide very sub par services. I had 4 items from Amazon which I needed to return and she asked me for the barcode .. which I didn't know I had to provide . I was not able able to find it within 5 sec .. I was told to go home and get that information ... I drove to this store for 40 min . I did find the code after searching for 30 sec and then contracted the agent again. Meanwhile the other customer agent spent 10 min with an older lady to address her concern around a specific package .... The person I was dealing with treated me with zero respect as a customer, really unacepptable and for sure I will never go to this store again read more

This store, despite being very busy, runs very efficiently. The staff are very helpful and even when obviously swamped, they really do a good job managing customer service and efficiency. My family went in today to get our passport photos taken and it went fantastic. I REALLY wish I caught the name of the woman working today! She is a such a joy. Every time I have had the pleasure of having her help me, it's been great. Today was no exception. She seemed to be the only person working and somehow was able to help people with copies, manage the registers, take calls, and help us get our passport photos! The multitasking was next level! Though we typically use office boss for shipping and copies (proximity) I definitely recommend the UPS store too. read more

Don't trust this store with your package. UPS tracking showed my package was returned to the store. I placed no less than six calls to them in an effort to find it. I left multiple messages for the owner, Amber, with my cell and email, but she never responded. On my final effort, they said a complaint had been filed and UPS had sent a check. They told me to call UPS at 800-877-1760 to get more information. When I did so, UPS had no information other than that the package had been returned to the store. Very frustrating. read more

One star is because I can't put negative ones. Don't trust this lying sack... I shipped a component for an antique motorcycle... paid for "Fragile" handling and extra packing. Manager described in detail the level of care he was going to use to pack it and how it would be labeled and protected. The component arrived, wrapped in a couple of sheets of bubble wrap in an oversized box.... dented and unusable. Lazy individual didn't even bother to put a label on the box. Don't trust anything valuable to this guy. I used to work for UPS, so I trusted them to make sure their employees were meeting standards..... NOT ANYMORE! FedEx from now on. Seriously, use anyone else to ship something... this guy just doesn't care and has no compunctions about lying to you face to face. read more

As a gift for our niece my wife bought some glass Christmas tree decorations, for a mantle or to place in a window sill. Turned out they were dang fragile. How would we get them to Portland? Wife said go to UPS store and get boxes. So I measured the little buggers, and rolled into the store to get boxes. There Amber and her husband tried to help me decide which boxes to take home. The process was frustrating and I decided to bring the gifts in for them to measure empirically. Amber and husband (gonna have to learn that guys name) managed to bubble-wrap all the glass pieces and fit them into two boxes, all for less than $50! Mi d, these are large pieces - some as big as 28" tall. I asked where Ronnie was hiding and they told me they had just bought the store. As helpful as Ronnie was, these folks are going to help keep that service going. Welcome, Amber and husband! read more

I went to this ups store yesterday with my mother and my 3 Kids, my mom had to have a notarized document ( my mom does not speak Good English) so she needed my help, and I had a couple of items to be returned to Macy's, so we all had our masks on except for my 11 month old baby, my kids were next to me and my mom, all of the sudden the store got a little busy, This lady (the notary) she was a Spanish speaker, so I told my mom I was going to print my return labels and this lady was going to help her with her document, so there was this older lady complaining about my kid's being there contaminating the office with COVID, I looked at the lady and I ignored her, and she goes again and complains with the owner about mexican people being at that store. The owner started talking a bunch of trash about us with his employee ( the notary) telling her to tell me to leave the store, the notary lady told him That I understand English, he didn't care and kept talking horrible stuff about us. I looked at that man I and said, excuse me!! I understand what your saying I heard what that old lady had comment about my kids and my mom and I and am sorry but am not leaving, My kids are wearing their masks they are not being annoying or damaging your store they are here next to me, so there is no reason for you to tell me to leave, and again he ask to take those kids out of this store to leave them either on the car or outside of the store, I told him am sure you know it's illegal to leave your 8, 5 year old and a 11 month baby inside a car unattended by an adult, and obviously am not taking my kid's outside and leave them there, then my 8 year old tells me that she would wait outside so I won't get in trouble, i told her to not worry about anything we weren't doing anything wrong that everything was ok, so the notary keeps helping my mom and I and he told the lady if she keeps helping me she needs to leave with me and those kids, she told the owner that she was not going to leave because She wasn't doing anything wrong, she was doing her job and he did not care, he went off on her and my kids and I, Ronny Haar the owner of the store started insulting us in a very racist way asking to get the F**k out of his store telling my kids a Bunch of inappropriate words for children of their age, I wanted to get my phone out and start recording him so people will see the type of person he is. I wanted to loose my patience and go off on him, but I just couldn't because I don't want to give my kids a bad example, my 8 year old started crying asking me to leave that place that she didn't want the guy to talk to me the way he was talking to them and I, my mom had no clue what was going on, and I broke down in tears when he told the notary that she was fired, that she just lost her job for being helping me, I still can believe she got fired for helping a Hispanic person who he thought that I didn't spoke English, I am a US Citizen as well my kids are. I felt extremely humiliated, but my biggest pain was that my children had to go through that horrible experience, 2 customers left his office very upset and this other lady who was at the tea shop asked the notary lady what had happen to us, she told her what Ronny did to us and she was very upset and said that she was not going back to the place and she will put a review about how I was treated, On our way home, my 8 year old made a comment where she asked me if I ever have to do an errand that she wants to stay home with her brother and sister and don't get her mom in trouble just like she did today, and my 5 year old said to my 8 year old, that she does not want to speak Spanish ever again that way people won't get mad with mom, this broke my heart and hurt them bad. I been in truckee for 17+ years and never imagined to get discriminated like I did today, I really really hope that lady' puts her review and the other people who was at the store!! read more

I can't speak highly enough of all the folks who work here - Phillip, Ronny, Chris, etc. They are so on top of everything - constantly accommodating all the packages, helping me take everything out to the car, etc. They respond to email questions and requests right away - so impressive. read more

I've only stopped by to drop off pre-labeled packages so I haven't spent much time in the store but the location is very convenient, near the lake and right off the freeway. Extraordinary customer service! I had a package sent here because my local PO isn't open on the weekends. The package ended up arriving late, but Ronnie from UPS kept tabs on the delivery for me and called me when it arrived. At first, I couldn't even find the package and called the Stateline UPS asking for help. Apparently, Stateline UPS doesn't have the same level of customer service as this Truckee location. They don't have a Ronnie :) And now, after all the trouble, I asked Ronnie to refuse service and send the package back. Not a single complaint, just helpful, positive communication.
