The absolute best UPS Store! I will not go to any other one. Ram and his wife are always busy because people know they get the best service. I will gladly wait in line for my turn to tell a joke with Ram, get my Amazon items returned, make a purchase and get to hear one of his own jokes. This place is amazing. The older man a this location is dishonest and rude. Go to the Victoria Ave store. Today I went into this store to ship a package that was supposed to be free of shipping charges. The man at the UPS store was charging me $10 and told me it was a shipping charge from the retailer. When I insisted that there shouldnt be any charges from the retailer, he then rudely told me I needed to box the items. When I told him I happened to bring a box, i asked to use the tape that was sitting on his counter. He said no and put the tape behind the counter and said I needed to buy a roll from his shop. It then dawned on me that he was actually charging me for supplies and lying by telling me me it was a retailer charge. When I asked if that was the case, he admitted it. What a crook trying to disguise his charging and then trying to make me buy one of his rolls of tape. I left and went to the UPS store on Victoria Ave. people there are super friendly and didn't try to conceal a charge. They readily help with sealing your boxes. free of charge! read more

Five stars isn't enough for the incredible team of Ram & Sally at the UPS Store on West Main Street in Ventura! My husband and I have used this store as our mail box since October 2014. Yes almost a decade! And service has always been professional, friendly and very fair. Ram and Sally always go above and beyond to ensure all our mail needs are taken care perfectly. A great example is how kind they were to us as Thomas Fire victims back in December 2017 and into 2018. A time when our town was definitely struggling, but Ram & Sally's dedication and professionalism never wavered. 5 stars for service, 5 stars for kindness, and 5 stars for being a shining light in our community during a difficult time and continuing to this day. Do not use this store. I had an item that they collected from an auction house. That occurred, but then the nightmare began. No tracking number was provided, which I was told it would be. The item never made it to my address. I called multiple times and the owner complained of being very busy, and that they don't scan every package. The expensive item went missing and never arrived. He then indicated he had turned it into an insurance claim and gave me a faulty claim number that goes no where. No follow up or response. HORRIBLE. read more

This is the worst UPS location I have been to. Always poor customer service here. The workers are rude and very slow, unattentive. The man working is unkind and rude and speaks with disrespect. They don't print UPS labels out for you and instead charge $7. Printing UPS labels is complementary and free of charge at other UPS locations. read more

SCAMMERS! This location charges for Amazon returns! They tell you it's going to a "different" location and he scans a barcode behind the counter for "misc items". Totally unethical and not right! The owner here is EXTREMELY rude and has cost me time and money with my business more than once. Today was the last straw. 1. Says he will ship out packages on time for international, even though he confirmed I made the cutoff time. Refused to scan it in front of me and give me a receipt. lied. didn't send it out until next day, now my package is 3 days late. Should have arrived on Monday in Hong Kong, but now won't arrive until Thursday. This was critical to my project and now I have to pay late fees. This has happened more than once. 2. He doesn't properly scan the QR codes for amazon returns. Amazon says they never got the returns so they recharge my card, even though this guy was supposed to send them. This has happened more than once, and Other reviewers mention the same thing. 3. He never offered to help me once when I would come in waddling with a huge pregnant belly and bags and bags full of packages to send. Never once offered compassion or even acknowledged that I was pregnant, and made me physically bend over to hand him each package one by one. 4. Tried to charge me for a 6 inch piece of tape more than once because one of my packages had a loose end. Really!? Seriously? i literally ship hundreds of packages a week, all with prepaid labels. 5. Made me stand in line to ship packages, even with prepaid labels. He should have a separate area to drop off packages that already have labels so people don't have to wait. And often I wait just so he'll physically scan the package in front of me and give me the receipt. he acts annoyed every single time and I have to argue with him / beg for the receipt. I am sick of this man!!! I am reporting him to UPS HQ as well. Do not go here. I won't be anymore. I will be driving to the one across town. read more

The owner and his wife are so nice. I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up for a mailbox in a UPS store. However, they were always so friendly, and they would always remember my name and help me if I forgot my ID and just being kind and helpful in general. They worked with us on me forgetting some thing, and I will just say they are very pleasant to work with and willing to answer the phone whenever and send me text messages of what is in my mailbox. This store does not deserve one star, I went in to get a document printed in black and white which I started the process on line just to find out it does not work. The owner had me email the document to his email and printed it. He told me they do not have the set up for customers to print documents on the machine that is sitting there in the store. He charged me $3.95 for an 18 cents print. I commented, he said the charge was because he had to email it. I should have walked out but I needed this document asap. I probably would not update this review but some months ago the owner asked me to leave a positive review on Yelp if I was happy with the service so I did. Today was not at all a good experience and I was surprised at how it all went down. When I arrived, the owner was finishing a conversation with someone (not about a transaction, just small talk, no big deal). I was there to drop off a pre-paid boxed package (as in just hand it to them) and buy a $2 mailer. After the person before me left, while I was standing in front of the owner, he took a phone call instead of speaking to me at all. I was there before the phone call even came in yet he proceeded to help the person on the phone. Then another person came in and asked if she could just drop something off and he responded to her as well and still had not spoken to me because he went back to helping the person on the phone. I put the mailer back so I could just leave and the first time he spoke to me was to ask me if I needed a receipt for my prepaid package as I was walking out. read more
