This is a great place that needs more attention. I went there for breakfast this morning and got a bagel egg and and cheese with bacon. All Vegan! And it even came with hash brown potatoes. It was very tasty and a very nice portion. The place is clean and has a large menu of choices for breakfast or lunch. They also have deserts and sweet treats. We are looking forward to a trip back soon. read more

Absolutely scrumptious and filling vegan breakfast. My mom who is not vegan was blown away by the deliciousness of her pancakes and stated it was "an amazing meal - not just vegan meal - but an amazing meal in general." The new owners are very friendly and accommodating. The menu is quite vast for vegan fare and VERY tasty! It's hard to believe it's ALL VEGAN...especially the 'egg' omelettes. The prices are median in general. But when you consider the organic/natural ingredients, preparation and amazing presentation that goes into it, it's easy to see that you're getting what you paid for. I was in Sterling and was making the trip back to Boston. I googled vegan restaurants and 'vegan nest' came up. I decided to go there and am only pleased with my choice. The owners were there, they are the chef and pastry chef. They both spoke with me about food choices, discussed their cooking styles and recipes. I had a great meal and got some dessert to go. I spoke with a friend about this and we are definitely going to take another drive from Boston to eat here again. read more

I love The vegan Nest Cafe! I have been there twice, and the food both times has been exceptional. I am from a town a couple of hours a way with very few vegan options, so it was wonderful to see so many vegan choices all in one restaurant. I had some sort of orange pancakes with berries on top both times I was there. I had home fries on the side when I was there yesterday as well, as well as a bit of a pina colada smoothie (I would have had more but I got full). The food was so good! My wife has food intolerances, and the chef was very accommodating to them. Additionally, the staff were really nice. I would love to go back if I am in the area again! read more

I liked this place a lot...even at first when it changed hands..but I ordered 3 side dishes the last time I went...sliced tomatoes, asparagus, and sweet potato fries..each was 5.00. I received 3 slices of tomato, 5 pieces of asparagus, and a very small number of sweet potato fries. That's a lot to pay for such small servings. Sorry to say, we won't go there again. This review isn't meant to be a takedown so hopefully the management can take this as feedback. My wife and I and couple of friends stopped by here a few days ago after a visit to a nearby botanical garden. Firstly, there was barely any seating. One table was fully occupied by a family, another for 4 was taken up by a guy waiting for a pickup order. Our party of 4 had to make do with a tiny window table, needing to pull chairs from elsewhere and shift things around to accomodate everyone. The table was also dirty with food crumbs from the previous diner. My friend asked the gentleman at the counter if they could grab a napkin and was told matter of factly that they had none. They also tried washing her hands in the rest room where it turns out they also ran out of soap. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for our orders to arrive. I ordered an ice water but was brought a room temp warm glass of water. Was told the ice machine was down - this would've helpful info at the time of ordering. 8 We also werent provided forks despite all having salads and sandwiches. My wife had to ask the young man who brought are meals for one. He kindly did but the problem was he held the fork by the prong end. It seemed like a Murphy's Law kind of day since nothing appeared to be working right. The man in the kitchen was loudly banging some uncooperative appliance, oblivious to whether it bothered customers or not. He didnt much care for customer service either, sounding a bit rude to customers trying to call in orders. Things only took a turn for the better once a lady arrived and took over the kitchen. Our food came out shortly and my vegan pastrami was at least delicious. The food is the only reason why my rating isn't lower than it is. Tasty food just can't overcome the overall unpleasant and disappointing experience we all had here. read more

I went a different way home and was so excited to see a Vegan restaurant, I spun around and had to stop! It's a small spot but very welcoming and homey. I was greeted warmly. I ordered the Caprese sandwich and an apple turnover for dessert. The bread was warm and delicious, the tomatoes were firm and flavorful. The sauce was so good! The turnover was flaky and you could tell the apples were fresh. This was a great experience and I will be back and tell everyone I know! read more

This little cafe has amazing sandwiches. In my two trips we have had buffalo chicken, pastrami, steak and cheese, and french onion burger. All were amazing! I am grateful to find there is a top notch vegan restaurant close by. read more

I'm really torn. We loved this place in Worcester, although it was quite slow even at off-peak times, and were happy to come across this when our lunch detour let us down (a pox on restaurants that don't keep their advertised hours). The menu is pretty neat with some creative items - there were several options we were interested in, and we painstakingly narrowed it down to two. We then found that they didn't have one of them (please let customers know that before they order!). That was one sadness. The second was that they didn't tell us how long it'd be, and it was WELL over an hour for two sandwiches on a weekday at lunch. We truly didn't have that kind of time and needed to know it'd be that long. Several others had called in orders that were not ready when promised - we could have called in ourselves, but we had planned on a different place (because we didn't know they had this new location). The others were hanging around for a while, even though they ordered ahead. I can totally understand getting behind, or not having something on the menu - but communication is key, and you need to make these things clear. A simple "we are backed up, it will be over an hour" would have made a huge difference to us. Now, the food was really excellent, and the staff is very kind, so we would consider another visit. We'd have to have a ton of time to spare, though. read more

We stopped here today on a whim, and we had zero complaints. The family running the cafe were warm, kind, and welcoming. We got the caprese panini, spinach and artichoke panini and a strawberry lemonade. The vegetables were so fresh and the ciabatta bread was so amazing, I was going to go in and ask if I could buy some to take home. It was so fresh and crispy. The person placing our order was put on hold and forgotten about, but wanted to call back. The food was delicious and healthy and the portions were ample. The produce was very fresh. So sticking with the plan to go here was the right call. It turns out only one person was on duty. Maybe they expanded to two locations before the covid labor shortages happened. We got takeout but there is a small seating area. Parking is along the street as they do not have their own lot but is free. This is a great addition to the area, especially for vegans. read more

Stopped in to this vegan inspired cafe and was greeted by friendly owners and staff. The French Onion veggie Burger is house made and one of the best i have ever had, with caramelized onions and mushrooms and a cashew sauce that perfectly complimented the burger. I also had the limeade ice tea made with turmeric, is was refreshing. My wife had the artichoke and spinach Sandwich which was also delicious. If you find yourself in Clinton Massachusetts stop in for great vegan food. read more
